No matter how much the girl tried to cover up her cheeks, it wouldn't stop the fact that she was blushing. He found it sweet, actually, even if she didn't. He raised his eyebrows at her, a smaller amused smile spreading across his lips. "Just think...?" He was interested to know. The ice cream comment? A small bark of laughter left his lips. Just like the old days. "Ice cream is nice!" When it wasn't spiked with things that made you overly happy, of course. Alec Blake Summers hadn't forgotten about that.

"They're awesome." Nodnod. Ells was good at making him sheepish with her compliments, did she know? Because that was exactly what was happening. Sheepishness and stupid grinning, which was all down to the blonde girl standing next to him. "I don't but I bet if he knew, he'd want to kiss you right now." She did have perfectly good lips. And perfectly distracting ones. How was he meant to concentrate on anything if she smiled up at him like that? "I hope so. Did you know that he's working in an animal shelter?" PROUD, he was. That was HIS best friend.

Ella Bishop was the most distracting girl ever. The wink ONLY made things worse for his case and, in the spur of the moment, he winked back at her. Why? Because it seemed like the right thing to.

"Yeah, neither could--" SHEEPISH. Alec reached up and gingerly touched the spot on his cheek where she had placed the kiss, now turning his attention to her. "Why...?" There had to be a reason, right? There usually wa--

... ... Oh. Yeah. He hadn't noticed... ... yeah. So he was just... going to concentrate on the stage, then.

Which was lucky because the next song had started! Here was a very perfect distraction. The tempo of the song had changed, which meant that there was some head bopping and a miiiiiiild hip wiggling as the song went on. "He's really talented!" he said to the blonde, keeping his eyes on the musician. It made him wish that he had some kind of musical talent but... yeah. No.

When the song ended, Alec tried his best to smile wide and cheer on for the guy. Another song? "YEAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!! BRING IT ON!"

Madelyn made her way over to the stage, she couldn't wait to hear the bands. She had been looking forward to coming to this festival for months. So glad she had swiped her boss's paper to read it and saw the article. Since it seemed the matchmaking had slowed it was the best time to take a few days off and enjoy the sun. Oh yeah this was going to be rockin.

Drink in hand she moved closer to the stage dancing around the crowds and dancing with anyone who might dance with her. This was great already and the best part it had just started. She might not even leave once it ended for the night. Nope she could totally camp out right here and wait for the next day to begin. Oh yeah, it was going to be one hell of a festival!

Emmalee laughed at his surprise and she lifted her sunglasses to rest them on her head. It was nice to see him, even if things hadn't really... worked out... with their date. She rested her hand on his arm as well, kissing his cheek in greeting. "Am I not allowed to have a good time?" she asked, smirking and raising a single eyebrow at him. "Live music is one of my guilty pleasures," among many "and I couldn't miss this." Though, she was feeling just a biiiit out of place.

Bored? "I'm glad to see you, but why are you here if you don't want to be?" Especially down near the stage. It seemed an odd location, to her, if you weren't interested in what was happening. She slipped her hands into her pockets, considering the stage and the crowd.

Emmalee chuckled at his compliment. "Thank you," you flatterer. He looked... quite nice as well, as she considered him. "The glasses suit you."

Sally led his gorgeous, super-babe of a girlfriend towards the main stage. To show off his love, of course. What other reason? Oh, right. The music. That too.

Looks like they might've missed a bit of the current performer's um...performance. Not that he'd miss them, no offense. He'd defintely miss what happened down Diagon Alley earlier, 'na mean? 'NA MEAN??

Salvatorio twirled Tazzy into his arms, wrapping them around her waist, "Having fun, yet?" He asked, smirking his oh-so-famous-killer smirk.

Sasha laughed delightedly as he danced with Toriya, for once not having to worry about looking good. They weren't truly dancing, not like they were used to, but they were having fun. Truth be told it had been a while since he found dancing to just be fun. He still loved it, but considering they normally danced together because it was their job and so they had to worry about making sure everything looked perfect, it could cause more stress than one realised.

When Tima moved onto the more rocking song Sasha screamed along with a few other people in the crowd and danced more enthusiastically. His friend was rocking it and no matter how lame it might make him Sasha sang along with the entire song. It was a great Summer anthem and was definitely working to get the crowd pumped up. Especially his sister and her friend who were screaming along and dancing with each other like they hadn't a care in the world. Which just might be true. At least for now.

When Tima finished the song Sasha looked around the crowd, glad that they all seemed to be having a blast and appreciated Tima's efforts. Although he supposed not everyone was enjoying themselves. Still they might enjoy the bands that came after and Tima was just warming up so there was still a time for others to get into it.

Theo peeked over his shoulder to make sure, but there was no one there apart from his irresistible self. It was hard to hide the chuffed look on his face. Theo grinned but shook his head at first... to be a gentleman... boring, and of course to not look so eager. Though it appeared to have gone unnoticed as the brunette of the pair was now dragging the redhead and herself towards him. Well, if they really couldn't resist...

"Hey, ladies." Suave. "Have we met before?" He tilted his head at the red-headed lady. Actually, he recognized both of them in some way but one at a time, please.

She shook her head because no, not answering. They could discuss this at home, yeah? Their home. The blonde still felt ridiculously happy every time she thought about it. She liked having a place with him, it felt big. Special too. But back to the boyfriend who was laughing at her, of all things. Ella smiled sheepishly and nudged him in the side. "Especially oreo. Think they have ice cream here?" They really should.

"He should kiss me." She was strongly suggesting this, okay? Did he see how big and full of hope her eyes were. Because kisses and her lips were right there. Practically silver platter status, Summers. Wait, what? "Really? That's brilliant! I always figured Tag would work with animals too. I'll have to ask him all about it." And wasn't it funny that Alec's two favorite blondes were going down similar paths in life?

Ella grinned at the wink and more so at the sheepishness because again, most adorable human alert. Did he know how lucky she felt because yeah, she felt it every time he looked at her like that. "Because you're you." And he deserved kisses. Lots and she--

Why was the boyfriend suddenly looking so uncomfortable? Ella followed his gaze and searched until her green eyes landed on one Theodore Kinsley. Theo. She got it now. And while her boyfriend enjoyed the more up beat song that was playing, the blonde took a moment to watch the younger Slytherin. She missed him, Theoman. And she knew how Alec felt about that so she really didn't know what to do about it or what to say. But it didn't matter seeing as Theo hadn't seen them, yeah? And Alec really didn't have anything to worry about.

She realized the song had ended from the cheers and claps surrounding her and Ella smiled a little, snapping out of her thoughts. She stepped in front of Alec then and pulled his arms around her so she could lean back into him. This was nice. "Love you, Summers." She did. He knew that, yeah?

"Diplomats---" Tori snorted at that, plus the Paulie Foster impression, "you mean interns?" She threw her head back and cackled a little bit. All too quickly though, this reporter (a REAL job, y'know) was being whisked away to the cute guy's corner.

You know what? Louisa forgave Tori for spitting out 'interns' like that. That Bott stiff was one of the reasons she was rocking and smiiiiiling at hot guys like that one who was checking her and Tori out.

Ooooooh, they should see how many guys they dance with tonight! Louisa laughed and said that directly into Tori's ear, "We dance with five guys today or we're a couple of loser girls in Lame-o-ville." OKAY? OKAY. A little challenge was bound to spice things up!

As for the curly head, sure. Sure, why not, he was so cute but not her type. WHERE did she see him before? Ugh...

jealous Eye-roll at the reporter title Tori liked spewnig so often. "Louisa Carter, fun expert. Pleased to meet you." She said over the music, not stopping her dancing for ONE moment. Actually, she just let Tori handle the former intern and started dancing with her regardless; Body swinging and bopping bumping her friend's side, arms up in the air, hips harmonically moving with the music. Louisa was in action already!

The day continues on as the first musician performs up onstage. Once he finishes up his last few songs, a short intermission ensues as the stage seems to take on a life of its own, preparing itself for the next performance.

Soon the time comes, and the announcer voice rings over all watching, "Our next performance recently finished a great tour through Southeastern Asia, and we're sure you'll be thrilled they returned to the UK for our festival. So please welcome to the stage, Wiggenweld!"

Charlotte made her way to the stage, sure she looked a little bit out of place compared to other people but she had her camera and everything. What was a gossip columnist to do without one? She grinned and bopped her way to the front closest to the stage so she could take some amazing photographs or well…maybe pretend to? She was really here for the music.

And her friend.

Her friend was really the icing on her fully icing cake. “GO APPLEBEE” she cheered and smirked as she made a note to give him a GIANT hug later maybe backstage? If she could score a pass…what was she kidding she was here and she was a former reporter for the Daily Prophet – heck, she’d started TheVine all on her own. Sure it was small and sure the circulation was even smaller but really who cared about that he was her former coworker and she just had to ask how he was doing with the ladies.

Because this was Chord Applebee after all he wasn’t in a dry spell or anything. And seriously, if he was that was a shame. GIRLS SHOULD BE LINING UP.

Not answering? Did that mean that he could bring this topic up later? Because the twenty year old was interested to see where she was going with this. He may not be the elephant of the couple but he certainly wasn't going to forget. "With extra gummy worms. Limey ones." He knew her favourites as well as he knew his own. But she had asked a VERY important question and so, the man looked up and around him. "I... don't know? They can't NOT have ice cream, right?" he asked, glancing back at her, now wide eyed, "It's JULY!" Which... explained everything, right?

SHEEPISH. His ability to say no to this girl was like his ability to say no to getting a puppy: non existent. That was why, shaking his head, Alec leant closer until his face was inches away from hers and whispered, "Stop being irresistible, Bishop." And she got a kiss. A quick one because they WERE at a music festival. "Really! He's doing uni as well and is enjoying it. Said he'd go to Ireland over the summer." GRIN. Could she tell how proud he was of the leprechaun?

The uncomfortable feeling wasn't going to go away anytime soon but the stage was doing a good job of distracting him, so to speak. He tried to look around to see if there was a setlist-- TDK WERE performing today, right? -- but...

... ... Oh?

Yeah, that was nice. And appreciated too. Smiling faintly, Alec held her close before placing a small kiss on the top of her head. "Love you too, Bishop."

Oh hey, new performer! Cue some cheers and applause from the Seeker.

Libra Wintringham took to the stage first, waiting patiently for the lights and backdrop to adjust for the act change as she lowered the microphone. Chord and Jace could set up without her checking in on them, so Libby took the opportunity to address the crowd. They were a lively bunch already, and she hoped they could whip the crowd up even more.

"Hello, Diagon Alley!" Cheesy, yes, but effective. Libby grinned and waved. "I'm Libra Wintringham, and the lovely lads behind me are Chord Applebee and Jace Williams, and we are Wiggenweld! We've been on tour abroad the past year, and it's fab to be back with the home town crowd. If you like what you hear, feel free to sing along. Loudly. Dance, kick up your heels, kiss a stranger, have fun. And don't forget to buy a poster before you go!"

Just a peek to make sure the boys were in place, and then Libby gave them a nod. They had a standard set when they were on the road, but this was a special crowd. "We're going to start with your grandma's favorite song. It's one of our favorites too, but we've updated it just a tad." She let Chord pick off a riff before launching into "A Cauldron Full of Hot, Strong Love". Old school Celestina Warbeck with a moody, throaty edge. Yay.

You know how there were certain things you had to question? Well, Val was just deciding to go with the flow for once. He could always ask later how James had managed to get this close a spot to the big show. Now it looked like Wiggenweld was up singing a classic first. Hm.

It was different hearing this in English instead of the French version Val was more familiar with, "They're.. not bad." Nodding a little as he turned his head. What did he think of them?

She could not really remember the last time she'd been to Diagon Alley, but she did know one thing for certain. Tazia looooooved music! One couldn't dance without music after all and she had devoted her life to that. Plus she was very very very good at it. "Great fun. Very different sound from the usual." Considering most of her dances were classics and had very classic music to them. She wiggled happily, tapping her fingers along on his arm, following along with the beat.

Exhilarated wasn't the word for what he was feeling right now, his eyes were shining and his face was stretched into a wide smile and he felt like all he could do was skip and jump and burst. Trying to keep breath in his lungs was proving to be difficult as he seemed to have forgotten how to breathe all he could remember was the ecstatic yells and screams that just came from the crowd as he finished up his set. "Thank you London! You've been amazing. Enjoy the rest of the Festival, and you'll see me around the merchandise and in the music lesson tent over the weekend!" Timofey said just before he took his final bow.

Moving off of the stage, Tima almost felt like he was floating. That had been amazing. He had grinned at Wiggenweld and wished them good luck with their own set; not that they really needed it but it was nice to be nice. He moved to the area he had been before the show had started and picked up his bag and his shirt he had taken off just before he had gone on stage. Keeping his Festival Pass around his neck, he moved away from 'behind the scene' towards his friends and family who had stayed for his whole set. Dancing, singing, screaming along with him as they always did at home if they managed to catch him practicing.

Smiling at everyone he had to squeeze past, he slowly made his way to the front where they were standing. He'd had to give a few people a hand-shake or a quick hug for them to let him past but he'd made it, finally. "Hi!", he said, as he moved in from behind them, his arms wrapping around Toriya and Sasha's shoulders as he grinned wide. "Enjoying the show?" he asked cheekily with a laugh as he saw Wiggenweld move onto the stage. Perfect timing, Tima!

Toriya screamed and danced her way through Tima's set, singing along to each and every song having heard him practicing them for so long. Gosh, she was so proud of him! They needed to get him more gigs so that she could come and watch him, after all there weren't many of her own competitions that he had missed over the years.

Talking to Kai and Sasha about Tima's set, they waited for him to come back and find them. It wasn't like he didn't know where they were - he'd been looking at them for more than an hour. Knowing that he'd be joining them though, didn't stop Toriya from squeeing when he arrived. She twisted instantly to give him a hug. "That was amazing, Tima! You are so good! We need to get you more gigs and shows okay? Okay." There, that was that sorted. She grinned at their Mamushka and was happy when Yuliana nodded her agreement.

After a minute or so, Viktoriya stood back so that Time could see everyone that was here. She smiled happily as Igorek and their Mamushka both moved in to give her a hug. Personally, she didn't know why anyone wouldn't want a hug from Tima after that performance... but she knew that she was biased. Ah well, she was their only sister she was allowed to be super proud. It came with the territory as far as she was concerned.

Arisa's mind had firmly been set on the front of the crowd, that being the case, she took very little notice of Jarrell's reluctance. Really what did he think it would accomplish? He knew by now that it was better to let her have her way, yes?

"I've seen you in worse." She admitted, so actually, he could have worn anything to this shoddy venue. It wasn't an important event and it certainly wasn't a party of hers so what did it matter? "The trashier you look is the less likely I'll have to cut someone. You don't want a repeat of that one dinner party, do you?" No doubt he'd enjoyed the cat fight--this was Jarrell afterall, she was more going along the lines of what happened after and the week he spent trying to regain her favour.

She might have been paying more attention to the stage than her company as the Performer was changed so the look she was giving to the one by the fence, unnoticed, the sarcasm of his question? Also unnoticed. In fact. "I'd love if you did, these shoes are gonna make my ankles hurt if I'm standing too long and you know I don't do well with sore joints. It'll be days of spa treatment before I recover."

But not this instant. For now her feet were fine. SUCH a caring boyfriend he could be.

Having finally taken note of Jarrell's lack of attention to her, Arisa began scanning the crowd. THAT'S when she noted the other girls ogling her boy toy. Hers. Fully hers, even when she didn't want him. It was good they'd decided for whatever reason to stay where they were, talking to that one guy--who she should probably talk to later, he wasn't half bad to look at--but it was good they did.

Forcefully, she yanked his arms around her then went back to her swaying. This music was half decent truth be told.

Hamish was actually paying attention to the music. As much as he loved festivals for their other reasons, he really did enjoy live music. There was something magical about it that wasn't really magic, y'know? Also, there was something infuriating about the fact that these people could do things he couldn't. Since Hamish Ferrier Brothaigh was not a musical human being. Then again, when it was karaoke night... you could guarantee he'd be up there, no matter which bar it took place in.

Then someone bumped into him and he automatically planted his feet on the ground, refusing to move from his space. He was ready to retort to the guy when he realised... ooh. Hehe. The edge of his mouth twitched up into a smirk as he glanced between Jarrell and the girl he was with. He should probably not... hm. Nah. Whatever. He winked. At least he made sure that the woman was looking the other way. He wasn't here to cause trouble...

OOooh, ooh! "Oh, yeah!" He said loudly, and rather excitably. It was cool to know girls, okay? Pretty, reporter girls. "Of course, how could I forget you?" Seriously. "I'm Theodore." He said to Tori, since she'd likely have forgotten him, and then looked to the brunette who introduced herself as Louisa Carter. He knew her, too. "I think we met in school? Did we? Or maybe I'd just heard about you," Probably that. "Since you are the 'fun expert' after all." Theo grinned at her. "Anyway, yeah, hi."

Oh, dancing.........

Theo continued to repeatedly bop his head and hips in tune to the music. Was his confidence high enough to dance wildly in front of two strangers? Naaaaaaah, not today. He slid a hand through his hair to distract attention from his movez, and to be COOL. The hand fell to his side and landed on his hip. Ooooooooooooooooooooh, hip wiggle.

Hand in hand, João approached the stage slowly and stopped before it got too crowded and they had to touch people.

His eyes scanned the area and upon seeing no one familiar, he was glad. Right now, he only wanted to focus on his girlfriend.

Mags gave his hand a lottle squeeze and grinned as she took in the crowd. How awesome was this?! When João brought them to a stop she immediately wrapped her arms around his waist. "This is going to be awesome, babe. Three days of music and funsies."

She bounced a little bit and kissed his face ALL OVER. Is there a particular band you're looking forward to seeing?"

His hand slipped around her waist too, and he grinned at her.

"Definitely," he agreed, and laughed when she kissed him. He pecked her lips, and shrugged.

"I don't know any." He glanced at the stage. "How about you?"

Mags gave him a small squeeze and turned in his arms so her back was against his front. "I do not know any of these bands either. It's just the whole music thing. I dig it."

Letting her eyes wander over the crowd she just smiled to herself and lay her head back against his shoulder. "I'm just glad you're here with me. I don't care about anything else."

Separated?

Olly turned to raise her eyebrows at him. "I'm not planning on leaving your side." Like, who was she supposed to stand in the crowd with? West would be on stage. Schuyler...well, she didn't really know about her. And Charlotte was probably around here somewhere too but she wasn't sure if she really wanted to hang out with her. Same went for Dora.

So, only Józsua.

Plopping down on the grass next to him, Olly nodded slowly. "Mhm." They were one of the headliners. She stared at the stage for a moment. Or attempted to anyway. She couldn't really see anything from her current position. There were too many people in the way. "Soon, I hope..." Not that the current band was lame or anything. But you know.

Excited? Her eyes flicked back to Józsua. "Sure." She smiled, taking one of her chips and putting them in her mouth. Yeah. She still wasn't hungry. The opposite really. Bleh. She still chewed on the food for a long moment before swallowing it. They should've gotten drinks too. "D'you want a butterbeer or something?" They should've brought their own drinks.

Why hadn't she thought of that?

He knew her well, it was true. Not much of a surprise considering how long they'd known each other but it was nice, having someone who had a handle on your favorites, even the ones you weren't aware you'd ever shared your preference for. The blonde smiled reassuringly and nodded her head, amused at Alec's enthusiasm. It was July and July meant ice cream and lots of it, it just did.

"M'not doing anything." Not really. More blushing happened because kiss and the whispering. The whispering. He knew he shouldn't do that. He had to know, yeah? And now she was all flustered, fyi. Nicely played, Summers. "Busy guy, Tag is. I'm glad he's happy." Genuinely glad and she could totally see how proud the boyfriend was. She secretly hoped he was this proud of her too.

She smiled at his words and nodded because she knew he did. Still nice to hear, though. And she hoped he was feeling better because this day was meant to be fun.

When the next band stepped on to the stage, Ella's excitement increased. Because she'd heard of this band and because it meant they were closer to hearing their former classmates perform. Exciting, right? It was nice that they were being heard and getting good feedback on their music. Ella was a fan. The twenty year old bobbed her head to the music and the occasional hip wiggle happened at appropriate times during the tune. Not her favorite song but not bad.
