| Wizarding Wireless Network Music Festival Come join WWN and the latest artists for the biggest music event of the summer! |

11-29-2014, 05:28 PM
| | The Main Stage The Main Stage, as the name implies, is the heart of the event. It is the biggest corner in the street that you won't possibly miss. With an easy access, you can always turn your head and see what's going on up there from whichever other corner you're at. As it gets darker, the lights will shine brighter, swinging and lighting the sky with mesmerizing wonderful shapes and small explosions of glitter.
The stage itself will be decorated and charmed differently throughout the event, reflecting the style of art or the music genre of each artist performing whether it's a group, a trio, or solo artists, just be on the lookout for all kinds of performances. You will not be needing any seats around the stage, you will be swinging your hips, spinning, jumping, just dancing as you may while you watch and listen to the artists.
For those who'd like to spend some peaceful time watching, please head over to the seating area, the stage will still be visible from over there. OOC: It's more fun to enjoy the performers than it is to play for them, so please don't. The Chronicler will announce who's performing. CURRENTLY PERFORMING: Mandy Macmillan |

She thought a walk around the Alley would do her just fine, especially with the Festival on and the sun still shining.
As she moved around the stalls, towards the main stage, Harper grinned and smiled to a few faces that she recognised. Having clapped at the end of one of the songs, she went and got herself a drink before trying to get closer to the main stage for the TDK performance. She couldn't help the smirk that crossed her lips as they started to perform their next song. Her foot tapped the ground as she swayed from one side to the other, singing along. Lawson was still swaying, his drink almost at the end. When the band finished playing their song, Lawson turned - maybe he could get some food now. He was pretty hungry. And icky festival food would do.
He was just out of the crowd when he noticed someone familiar. The other Harper.
Maybe it was drink, or that it was a carefree day - but he found himself walking toward her. "Hey .." he awkwardly said, waving slightly with his empty bottle. "fancy seeing you here .." he added, a little more awkwardly. It was weird - he only saw her around ickle kids and his own daughter but to see her here - it was different.

| Nathaniel Woolstock - Disorder of the Phoenix Admiratrice des Maraudeurs | C-Rizzle | THE Best Snuggler Nathaniel strummed his guitar, adding a few flourishes now and then to complement the vocals, then finished up the song on a major chord. While one of the others introduced the next song, he put his guitar down and plugged in his electric, then slung it over his shoulder. After bending his ear close to the strings and ensuring they were in tune, Nate nodded and counted off. "One, two, three, FOUR," was barely audible to the audience (there was a reason he didn't like to directly address the hordes of people), but on his count the band sprung into a high-paced, almost frantic tune. Blending his chords with the vocals perfectly, Nate let himself improv and embellish a bit, adding trills and crescendos on the accents. At the first chorus, he started nodding his head in time with the music, making sure not to get beads of sweat on his precious guitar. Then, the vocals faded out and there was no sound but the loud and quick plucks of his guitar. His face wrinkled in concentration as he hit accent after accent of his solo, finishing by going back to the by-now-familiar tune of the chorus. With a final satisfying chord, the song ended and Nate inclined his head slightly at the screaming fans, panting slightly, before wiping his forehead with his sweatband on his wrist. |

Diagon Alley Proprietor:
The Chronicler | After many songs, the evening had come. The band left the stage, and after a bit of changing, the stage was ready to welcome the next and final performer of the festival.
"It is often said that an ending is really only the beginning of something else, and we think that's true tonight! Though this is the final day of the festival, our final performer is making her music debut tonight! We're sure this will be the start of a great career for her. So please welcome to the stage, Mandy Macmillan!"

It was time. IT WAS TIME! YES! Amanda looked as confident as ever as she stood next to the stage as she was being announced. She looked confident but she was NERVOUS!!! However, she knew that was a very good sign, for no great performances happened if the artists weren't nervous.
IT WAS HER TIME TO SHINE.
Walking up to the centre as if she owned the stage - which she did-, Amanda smiled brightly at her audience. "Good evening, Diagon Alley!" She felt like yelling 'ARE YOU READY FOR SOME REAL MUSIC?' because she had heard that somewhere before, but that wouldn't be fair on the other musicians that evening. They had been good, after all. "I'm Mandy Macmillan as it was well announced and I could keep talking the entire night but you're not here for this and neither am I, soooooo let's rollllllll!!"
Music debut, yes, since she was no musician, but an actress, her performance would show that very well. Amanda Macmillan was about to show the Wizarding World that actors were not just a bunch of dramatic acts, but they could also SING. VERY WELL. HECK YEAH.
After the classical 'ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR!', Mandy hoped her not-so-little cousin would be there in the audience and READY to enchant all of those instruments behind her. COME ON, SOPHIE, THAT'S YOUR CUE.
...
The brunette smiled widely as her magical band started to play the awesome hit Beat Back Those Bludgers, Boys, and Chuck That Quaffle Here and her outfit magically changed to one that much resembled the famous magical singer from decades ago. "Come on, you all know this one!" Yes, her VOICE was slightly different as well as she almost fully put the character on for the first song. Ladies and gentlemen, a quirky version of Celestina Warbeck now, right in front of you.
SING ALONG NOW. Don't mind that strange noise in the background. Those who listen to Warbeck's music often would recognise it as a choir of banshees. Honestly, Sophie deserved a raise for that. That was, if Mandy was paying her at all, which she wasn't, so HERE'S AN IMAGINARY RAISE FOR YOU, SOPHIE!

Charlie was here, obviously. She'd even made a sign that read, "My best friend's voice is almost as amazing as her face!" The lettering was fancy and in colors Mandy liked best and really, the blonde shopkeeper was the best friend ever.
As the brunette performed, Charlie swayed along to the music and shouted the words, per her friends request. It amused her, that Mandy was acting and singing all in one performance. Multi-talented girl, she was. Everyone better clap for her after or the sign would double a means to poke people with.

| Arts TRANSPONSTER! After a few songs by Celestina Warbeck, lots of yelling high notes and interpretive moves, Mandy sang two more songs by the Singing Sorceress, being them A Cauldron Full of Hot, Strong Love and, of course, You Stole My Cauldron But You Can't Have My Heart.
Still wearing the Warbeck's outfit, the 28 year-old grabbed the microphone. "I hope there were some Celestina fans out there, but in case you're not one of those... you're MAD! Hehehe, just kidding." Not really. "Let's move onto the next part of the show!"
YOUR OTHER CUE, SOPHIE!
Mandy spun on spot and once she was facing the audience again, her outfit had changed completely, including her hair and way of standing. Another character for you all! And they weren't done. As Mandy stood frozen on a dramatic pose, a copy of her stepped out from behind her, not only once, but twice. "I hope you liked my face, because you'll see plenty of it tonight!" The Amanda in the middle spoke into the mic again. HEEEH. "And now, here's a better version of the Weird Sisters for you all!" The tone in her voice made it clear she was only joking as her and her 'twins' started to dance to the rock music that started playing, flashing lights beaming over them from all around.
MERLIN, THIS FELT AWESOME!!! She could do this ALL DAY EVERYDAY!
Did they all realise there were three of herself because of Macbeth's Weird Sisters? Yes? Yes? Amanda Macmillan was an ACTRESS above all, so of COURSE she'd bring references to the most fantastic playwriter of history. Come on, now.
The former Gryffindor then started singing her own favourite 'Do the Hippogriff' because HONESTLY, who in their right mind didn't like that song? EVERYBODY LOVED THAT SONG! "Do the hippogriff, Diagon Alley!!!" She exclaimed at some point in the chorus and let the people sing the rest by themselves and she kept dancing with the two other Amandas on the stage.

| Unforgivably Cursed | adultescent She was here, she was here! Nessa was not going to miss Mandy's performance and once she heard the woman start singing, she rushed towards the main stage area to get as close to the stage as possible. Wonderful! Nessa was all beamy smiles for her WADA friend and she even sang along with her.
What showmanship too! Nessa cheered and clapped as Mandy changed costumes, then.. cloned herself right on stage twice! She let out a dramatic gasp then clapped again. "Brava! Brava!" she shouted just before Mandy started into another song. Oooh, a classic! Of course, Nessa started dancing and singing along. She was so proud of her and she was putting on an amazing performance!

| Arts TRANSPONSTER! Once again, after a couple of songs by the Weird Sisters, Mandy was ready to move on because she knew the audience would to if she dragged it a bit more. NO, SIR. You had to think ahead of them and know they'll get bored before they have the chance to consider it. "Thank you!" Mandy said as her clones took a bow, one at each of her sides, and immediately vanished. "For the third and final part of this performance," She paused for a moment to let people go 'awwww' because she was THAT good - and maybe because WWN was coming to an end, but she liked to think it was mostly because of her brilliant performance - "It's my music debut tonight and I wanted to give you the pleasure of listening, first hand, to my very own compositions! Whether they're good or not...... well, you'll be the judges of that!" And she was serious, lol. "So don't forget to come talk to me afterwards to tell me what you think! This one is called 'Yesterday I didn't love you, but today I do.'"
Sophie knew what to do, yes? OF COURSE SHE DID.
In a split of second, Mandy was wearing the same outfit she had on when she stepped onto the stage that evening, her arms spread out widely as another set of music started playing. The title of her song was rather silly, which fit the lyrics perfectly. The brunette danced and acted out being poisoned by the Love Potion - because honestly, that thing was a POISON - as if she knew very well what she was talking about and she did hehehehehehehehehehehehehe. She went on to sing another song she had written with the help of her uncle about Muggles. Mandy had never listened a proper song that spoke about Muggles in a very accurate way so she decided to write about it! AND ACT IT OUT while singing. PERFECT. "Last but not least, the melody is mine but the lyrics are Shakespeare's. I hope you enjoy and THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN, DIAGON ALLEY, DON'T FORGET TO CHECK OUT THE WIZARDING WIRELESS NETWORK'S SPONSORS!" The main one being "Paradise Piercings & Tattoos is pretty amazing!" Just sayin', AHEM. You're welcome, Charlie. "Another special thank you to my lovely cousin Sophie for executing all of the magic in this performance!" Amanda gestuurreeeddddddddd frantically at her surroundings, the lights, sound, stage, EVERYTHING. "Thank you and I hope to see you all again! HERE WE GO!!" And she burst into her last song, Double, Double, Toil and Trouble to finish the night.
BOOYAH!!

| Puff by day, snake by night | Mj's bestie | Always UP to Something... Alan was there, he had been there the entire time. On their one and only date she had mentioned that she was playing at the music festival and since he had thought the date went well he decided to surprise her and show up at the performance just has he said he might.
Standing as close to the stage as he could he watched and even maybe bounced to the music. She was good and he cheered and clapped. He was the audience after all. Hearing her say it was the final thing he thought she didn't get enough time, but what did he know.
Listening to her start the final song, he knew them so he might have sung along quietly. He did have something in his hands too, lifting the cute teddy holding a rose he tossed it to the stage glad when it landed near her feet and hoping she'd see it. Though would she know it was from him? Probably not, but hopefully he could find her once she was off the stage.
