If one wishes to step away from the excitement and music for a moment, the food station is a perfect way to take a break. Full of delicious (albeit not the healthiest) snacks and treats like pizza, fish and chips, and fried eatables, there’s something for everyone. For those who want to stay on the healthier side, there are some veggie options also. So take a plate, fill it with goodies, and enjoy the music!
One of their first time out without the stroller - because James refused to sit and insisted on exploring his new motor skills - Kurumi continued to walk at a wobbly snail's pace with her pinky finger being grasped with one of the most perfectly adorable little hands she had ever seen. The thought made her laugh. It sounded like something her father would shout at the top of his lungs while frolicking around the street.
"I guess we're getting something to eat," she smiled over at Lewis as their son continued to tug both their pinky fingers in the direction of the food table. Hopefully there would be something he could eat so they could avoid a hissy fit.
It wasn't as loud as she feared it would be, or maybe she was just used to MUCH louder noises. Dragons were not quiet creatures, after all, and the reservation she now worked on in Exmoor was no stranger to dragons that seemed to always have something to say.
Lately either Kurumi or himself (or both) didn't have their pinky to themselves. Somehow James had grown permanently attached to their fingers ever since he'd figured out how to use his legs for walking. He'd been good at kicking very early on. It had been a remarkable thing to watch. Lewis could've spent every minute of every single day just watching their son. For a while he had literally done that, too.
Turns out, sleep was a thing though, so he'd had to restrain himself a little.
They hadn't been sure at first whether or not coming here was a good idea. But in the end they'd decided to at least give it a try. And it seemed like they'd had made the right decision. James seemed happy. And hungry. Lewis smiled back over at Kurumi as they made their way over to the food station. He could already smell it from over here. And not necessarily in a good way. But they were at a festival so he couldn't exactly expect any 'good' food here.
"I brought some fruit." Which was probably not very impressive to James right now.

"I brought some fruit." Which was probably not very impressive to James right now.
Relieved that all her fingers were her own for what felt like the first time that day, she watched as James struggled to keep his balance while reaching for the fruit Lewis had as he continued to squeeze his daddy's pinky. Whether or not James would actually eat the fruit once his eyes fell on the cornucopia of fried things. And if he did and then cried because he wanted something...one or both of them would cave and probably offer their son the entire plate. They were both horrible at saying no to James.
"Fried chocolate frogs..." she read from the menu, he nose wrinkling in disdain. "Why would anyone want to fry a chocolate frog?" It had been years since that one fateful Charms lesson that had put her off chocolate frogs, and she still wasn't over it. Fried butterbeer though....that she would be willing to give a try.
Hearing the announcement from the stage about the next performer, Kurumi's eyes widened and she tugged gently on Lewis' shirt. "We were at Hogwarts with her!" She moved closer to link her arm with his and rest her head on his shoulder - all the while James was clumsily batting at daddy's hand for some fruit.

Complicated. Iwin had been under the impression that Emmalee just didn't DO complicated. So hearing that had his ears perked, and his eyes flickered in her direction. "Wh-what? Okay--yeah--" They DID need to talk. "I need to tell you some things too." he felt like a teenage girl. Was his best friend Emmalee?! MERLIN. He had better male friends but--they--no. He didn't talk about serious, important things with them.
His best friend was Emmalee. Oh Lord.
And she WAS right. "I was. She frustrates me in general--so moving out will be a blessing." A huge blessing and HAPPY TIMES. "I just know I'll be guilted for all eternity." He shrugged. Younger Iwin might have fallen for it, too. But Iwin nw...nope. He didn't fall for it one bit.
SHE WANTED TO MAKE BETS, DID SHE?! Iwin smiiiiirked his famous smug smirk and lowered his glasses down the bridge of his nose to peer down at her--"You're on. Because I have FULL confidence in myself." He did. Iwin was the best. At pool, anyways. And other things. BUt pool was what they were talking about right now. "Plus--after we eat all this food--you're a small person--you'll just combust and die, and therefore I'll win." Logic.
Flawed logic was the BEST.
"So fine." Aaaand their food was ready, so Iwin SNATCHED it up before she could and smiiiiirked. "Let's find a table."
Emmalee sighed. He.. stammered? Was he surprised? Emmalee did suppose it was somewhat out of the ordinary. But he had some things to talk about too... interesting. How had they ended up here again? Emmalee didn't really do the heart-to-heart friend thing, and especially not with.. well, with people with whom she had some history. Merlin. Was Iwin her closest friend? Fudgepops.
She nodded. That was enough talk about his mother. Merlin. Emmalee hoped she never met the woman because she was certain that she wouldn't be able to hold her tongue. And Iwin didn't need a lecture about the kind of friends he kept.
Emmalee crossed her arms and shifted her weight a bit, and pressing her lips together in a smug sort of line. She would let him finish, but the smirk tugged at the edges of her lip. He could be confident. And sure, most of it was deserved. But she was confident too. "I can out-shoot you in pool, out-eat you here and now, and out-drink you any night of the week." Sassy. Several other things popped to mind as he jested about her combusting after so much food, but she withheld. For now.
She did, however, burst into laughter as he gathered ALL the food up and started off toward a table. "Do not drop my ale, Iwin. I am not standing in that line again."

Food thank goodness. She slept in right through breakfast. You know hanging out late with friends and things. The best part of summer. So here it was way after lunch time and Cinna hadn't had a bite to eat at all. Which was pretty usual for the Gryffindor. Who ate whatever whenever she wanted.
Disappointed that she still hadn't ran into any of her friends here again today. She headed on over to the food station. Food was her friend right now. And that made her happier than anything. She had so much fun last night here listening to TDK and dancing to there music with Dot. Who was pretty cool being a soon to be third year and all. Actually the younger kids were pretty cool. Or maybe that was just the newiness of being a big sister.
Now that was around food and in line to get food. What kind of food did she want today? Yesterday she had pizza and funnel cake. She could eat funnel cake every day.

More teasing from Adi tore her thoughts away from food. "Of course I do." She knew Adi like the back of her hand, and the same could be said for how well Adi knew her. All teasing aside it was still nice to hear that he missed her. For once in her life the soon to be third year was looking forward to the start of the new school year. A third year would bring lots of cool stuff. For starters she was no longer the baby of the school. AJ had two whole years under her belt now. That meant things, it did!
More laughing came from the lion. "Don't kid yourself Adi. I will totally beat you." and bad. This girl didn't play when it came to food. It would be foolish to let her petite frame fool you. Benny confirmed that he didn't have any food scarfing down magical powers, so it looked like Adi would be the one to beat.

Adi sniffed the air. "All that food smells awesome. See any tacos, AJ?" He did see fish and chips though... yummy! That was one of his favourites. Too bad Benny was not into eating competitions though. What fun that would have been... the three of them gobbling food down for all to see. LOL. The Puffer grabbed a plate and moved towards the fish and chips. "What are you guys waiting for?"
Adi and AJ truly were a pair.
Teasing and banter abounding between them and all he could do was shake his head at it all. And Benny was well aware he did in fact have to keep an eye on them. To a point anyway, especially with food. They were on their own with other things as he had enough to be cautious with looking over Angel. His own handful that was his girlfriend. One he wouldn't ever really trade away. She, like Adi, made sure his life wasn't boring and mundane but instead fun-filled and sometimes crazy.
He followed his bestie's gaze over the various food offerings, admittingly draw to the food almost as much as they other two. Granted, it might be because he didn't really eat much for breakfast that morning. Benny fought the urge to roll his eyes as Adi pressed them further while he worked on the line already. Fish and chips....nice. For him, the pizza was looking like a good choice and he added it to his own tray.
WAS it really important? Because Ophelia always believed that your name didn't define you, what you diiiiid was who you are. The blonde had the proof too, like the fact that she was an outdoorsman while the rest of her family preferred the comfort of home, and the fact that the rest of her family were practically geniuses while she was kind of....not. However, she was still a Clarke, as foretold by her blonde hair and round eyes. So how important was this stuff really?
However, now was not the time for philosophical questions about names. Actually, there was no time for that unless you were in a very deep conversation. And the second year tried not to get into those anymore. See, last year she was trying to live up to her older sisters genius in classes, but since she came home and the genius was SHOVED forcibly in her face, the Ravenclaw was feeling kind of... discouraged. So it was her new motto to just be herself and not push to new information. Kind of like an anti-Ravenclaw.
Anyway, conversation.
"Well, then, what does your name mean?" Not to be rude, she was just a little curious. It was a HER thing. Curiosity. However, that was obsolete when your elder siblings had literally all of the answers to every questions. Also, who said chiz? Was that like an older person thing? Should she start using it? It was kind of a cool word. "Also, chiz? Like the slang there, Hugh." And the, to make sure he knew she wasn't just being a sarcastic little brat like usual "no, really".
She seemed to think quite a bit. There were lags in her conversation like she was mulling over the mysteries of the universe and Hugh, the amateur philosopher he was, could appreciate deep contemplation. On the days he was a believer in existence. So he let her drag conversation the way she pleased. Put aside the fact that he didn't really understand how to be rude...he came by that honestly. Rudeness.
Ahem. She wanted to talk to him about origins? She had NO IDEA what she had just signed up for, yo. "It is an alternate spelling of the name Hubert, WHICH means bright heart. Derived from the German words hug and berhat that mean in that order heart and bright. Most FAMOUSLY Saint Hubert is the patron saint of hunters." Breath. "And thank you."
He never once thought she was being sarcastic. Again, he missed that kind of stuff.

Probably not, whatever.
Again with the skating around him? She was going to make him dizzy with all this neck craning and eye following he had to do to keep his startlingly blue eyes on her. “Wednesday it is, where? Here in London?” It would be way easier if it was, he could just get Barton to take him, actually his valet/bestie/mentor would probably want to come in and watch to. “Oh, sweetie, I haven’t worn that in years... “ Damien said, imitating a soft, feminine voice, obviously playing the part of a middle-aged wife of ten years with three kids and a complex about her figure.
Damien batted away Rorie’s hands as she patted his cheeks. “Oi! You’re ruining my swag,” She was, she totally was and it was so not chill. “Psh, how are any of those things sophisticated?” Weirdest chick, and he meant that very affectionately.
Damien allowed the diminutive girl to drag him along, not really helping, but not, not helping? Anyway, it was funny seeing her try to pull him along and he laughed that squeaky laugh of his. “Semi-meanie? But I’m not mean… I don’t mean to be mean. What’s the definition of the word?” He would have googled it, but he got no service here.
She nodded when he asked if it was in London. "Maybe...probably...possibly two or three blocks down from my house. Definitely outside the wizard community, so keep that in mind." She stopped to take in the hilarious voice Damien was making and keeled over in laughter. "WHAT WAS THAT?!" She wheezed. Full of surprises, that boy.
"Tomato, tom-ma-toe." She simply answered when being questioned about her definition of sophisticated. It didn't say anything, but it also said everything. Duh.
Trying to pull Damien along wasn't quite working. Her skates just made her move in place and DAMIEN WASN'T HELPING. Grrrrrrr. She contemplated just taking off her skates and getting the move on, but what fun was in that?? The girl made a quick turn to jump on the boy's back. "Forget the definition and move forward!" She kicked her legs like a cowboy kicking his spurs to get the horse moving, only her horse was a human teenage boy.
Emmalee sighed. He.. stammered? Was he surprised? Emmalee did suppose it was somewhat out of the ordinary. But he had some things to talk about too... interesting. How had they ended up here again? Iwin snorted as he made his way to a TABLE and gentle set the tray down. Merlin, did Emmalee have NO confidence in him?! Rude. SO rude. "I..I think you're a liar, and you're bluffin', Quinn." He winked as he took a seat and gestured her to do the same across from him. Emmalee Quinn would NOT beat him in any of those things. NO SIRRREEEE BOB. No. Iwin could not and WOULD NOT let that happen.
NOPE.
He was...A MAN. Roar.
"See? I didn't drop anything--be proud of me, amor." He used the french term this time just to mess with her. Emmalee was just SO fun to mess with, yes. He slid the ale over to her. "There. Take a sip and let me try. I'll let you try...my thing.."
Right.
He kept forgetting what he had gotten.

Landon Hughes was at the music festival for his work. Well partly. He was supposed to pay attention to the bands and see what music he could play at the radio station in the future. The other reason he was here was to cheer Melanie on. He had just seen her perform for the first time and she was amazing. He had told her that he wouldn't be able to make it, but he wanted to surprise her instead. But first, he needed some food. Sure he had some oreos in his pocket, but he wanted REAL food. Like a funnel cake. Then he'd go surprise his fiance.
Now food...hmm, they have pizza. Maybe he'd share that with Melanie later.

"I may lie on occasion," she retorted with a smirk, "but I never, ever bluff." Winking back, she settled into her seat. Emmalee had him, she knew it. Typical overconfidence on his part. But something that Iwin Howell would learn soon enough was to never, ever, EVER underestimate a Quinn.
She mocked clapped to celebrate his ability to be a normal, coordinated human being. "I am super proud of you, love." Two could play that excessive terms of endearment game. Sipping her ale, she raised an eyebrow. It was good.. slightly fishy, but still oddly tasty. Salty.
"I don't know that you'll like it," she said, pushing it across the table to him. "But you should try it, just to say you did."

Melanie peered around, trying to figure out what to get when she saw someone looking for food just like she was. Grinning, Melanie crept up behind him and went on her tiptoes. "Guess who," she said in a sing song voice, covering his eyes with her hand.
"It's not Katy Perry."
Just in case he said that first.

Abby wanted to dig a hole to the center of earth. The poor girl hit the person in front of her and judging by her slightly pink nose she could swear she did it with her nose. She fussed over her, going from her head to her shoulders in worry, but not touching - do not invade other people's bubble Ab!
She sighed, dropping her arms to her sides and smiling apologetically at the girl. "I'm really sorry I nearly tackled you to the ground, I got in a trance over the food and.." she shrugged. Well a woman had to eat right?"I'm Abby by the way" she winked and started to beam after hearing her call her hair cool. Yep it was darn cool indeed, if made her feel like some sort of super hero, but people usually gave her the stink eye for her choices in hair, make up, clothing, tattoo....
"That's so nice of you after I nearly run you over.." she giggled. She could see the line moved a little and she indicated this with her chin.
Puck just shrugged off the soreness of her nose, really, it wasn’t that bad. “Oh, don’t worry about it” Puck grinned not sure how the person in front of her felt but hey, it wasn’t like she would speak for a stranger anyway was it? “Honestly I think everyone can get into a trance when it comes to food,” she laughed.
“Nice to meet you Abby” she grinned, “I’m Puck,” and grinned back at the now grinning older woman. “Oh really, its not the first time I was knocked over” she chuckled and took a quick step forward. “Where’d you go to get the coloring done?” She asked carefully as really she wanted to know what places were up to the challenge after all she didn’t know what she was going to do before school started again.

Landon continued looking at the menu, trying to decide which of the list of foods he wanted when someone put their hands on his eyes and he couldn't see. He jumped a little because it could be anyone here, a complete stranger, but when he heard her voice he knew exactly who it was and he snorted when she said Katy Perry. He took Melanie's hands and turned around, laughing to himself. "Katy Perry has nothing on my fiance. Okay...maybe a little." He winked, then giving her a kiss. "I was going to surprise you, Melon! But the food was calling me." He pouted, looking back at the menu then back at her.
"Anyways, look at you! Look at my future wife everyone!" He said, taking her hand and spinning her around in circles. Then he quickly hugged her, trying to cover her head. "I made a mistake, Mel! Now everyone will want your autograph and I can't spend time with you." He groaned, trying to squeeze her tight. Maybe too tight. He let go of her and smiled. "Your performance was amazing though. Did you see that one guy in the front row? I think he was drooling over you." He chuckled.

Melanie laughed a little watching him jump. That was always amusing. While she waited for him to respond, she glanced around the place wondering what she would eat. She was slightly taken aback - or so she feigned - by his answer. "Landon Hughes, I would hope that I rank higher than Katy Perry!" she said, laughing again and kissing him back. She interlocked her fingers with his casually and shook her head. "Are you sure the food was calling to you? Or was it the other way around?" she teased. She felt a grumble starting in her tummy. She needed food. Stat.
Feeling herself get red in the face, Melanie clung tightly to Landon when he twirled her. "Landon!" she exclaimed. Melanie felt herself grinning. She would be lying if she said she didn't like this. She nudged him ever so slightly with her elbow and shook her head. "Stop being ridiculous. That only ever happens in the states. We're back here now. It's nice." Melanie found herself missing it here quite often. She looked at the menus again. Landon probably had his oreos in a bag somewhere. No point in rummaging for it now when they were surrounded by food.
"Thanks, Landon... I don't think so though. And I did not see such a guy." Because that would be ridiculous. Ah... and now here came the grumble that had been building up...
Hearing her tummy make a rather unsatisfied sound, she looked at Landon sheepishly. "Can we get some food?"

James shrugged and looked at the rest of the menu, "Sounds fantastic to me. Maybe you're weird," he teased and tried to watch them make his deep fried chocolatey goodness. Oil or not he bet it was going to taste fantastic!
James hid a shudder as Zoe started talking about delicacies and seaweed. "Um...no I'm good with no seafood, thanks." He smiled as the person nodded and confirmed it wasn't made out of gnomes. "Hey don't laugh at me," he said with a fake frown. "But...that's good. Sets my mind at ease a bit." He walked over to her and gave her a kiss. "Now...dancing later? Or maybe some wicked body art," he said with a laugh. Oh yeah he could see him dad flipping out about that. Hmm...now he was tempted....
She snickered, "Or you are, with the need to deep fry chocolate?" she asked with a laugh. Just seriously? What was with the frying of weird things? She just shivered at the thought of deep frying chocolate. Nope not watching that. Just...nope.
She giggled at his response about the delicacies and seaweed. Heh, it really wasn't that bad and he was kind of cute with his responses in regards to seafood stuff. Hey the deep fried chocolate wasn't even along the same lines of seafood. Nope not even close. She smiled and kissed him back "Dancing sounds fun! I didn't expect you to ask that." Heh, nope she hadn't expected that. "OHHH! I like that idea! Auntie would not be pleased there she was sure. Funny she hadn't even thought of her mum or dad complaining. She was of age!
Hadley nodded enthusiastically, "Yep, Gnome is just… delicious! Who would have thought?" At least she could guess it was gnome in there, but it didn't taste foreign. Hadley stuck her hand out to shake the woman's hand… Veronica "Hi Veronica, I'm Hadley," she greeted. "So what do you do for a living?" Coz that's the best thing to discuss standing at the food station, wasn't it?
Veronics laughed and nodded. No one would've thought those pesky little creatures would be delicious. The blonde was certainly not fond of them and praised the elves at home who would degnome the garden when the time came. Not that she wouldn't do it, because she would. Roni just didn't want to see the creatures really. So maybe a gnome burger wasn't the best choice for her at the moment. "Certainly no one would've. They're ugly little creatures and I would not have guessed they made a good burger," She gave the girl a smile, who was named Hadley.
"I attend London Wizarding University and major in Charms," and a minor in cartooning but that was no big deal. "What about you?"

Landon simply looked around, not answering Melanie as she said that she hoped she ranked higher than Katy Perry. Truth was that he did find Melanie much prettier than Katy Perry, but he wouldn't let Melanie have the pleasure of knowing that just yet. Maybe later. "Oh it was definitely the food calling me. I would look absolutely ridiculous if I called out to food, Melon. Who do you think I am?" He said, pretending to be offended. Either way, he was hungry and needed food.
He laughed as she saw the blush on Melanie's cheeks and seeing her so embarrassed reminded him of them back in Hogwarts. Oh memories. "You're right. Those crazy muggle fangirls and...boys." He said, furrowing his brow. He hated when guys went all weird over Melanie. That reminded him...he should talk to Melanie later about more bodyguards. "Well I saw him and if I see him again, I'll beat him up." He joked. There was no actual guy drooling over her.
He looked back down at the menu and heard a weird noise. "What was that?" He said, looking around and realizing that it was probably Melanie's stomach. "You're really that hungry? Did you not eat before you got on stage?" He chuckled.
Puck, as Abby discovered, didn't really mind the bumpimg, so with a smile spread on her face she winked and twirled a lock of her hair between her fingers. "I actually did it myself, I'm pretty handy with a wand when it comes to cosmetic-related-spells" she was curious about Puck. She looked young enough to still be in Hogwarts, yet there she was alone in a music festival. Right after leaving Hogwarts Abby did that as well. That's where she got her first magical tattoo. The thought made her chuckle.
"So Puck.." She began "Where are your friends? Are you here alone?" She took another step forward. " I've been roamimg around for the last hour, this is sort of insane. I've alteady seen two flaming brooms and a couple of screamong sprouts!" she smiled at her surroundings.

Despite my empty mouth the words are in my mind. Don't you wonder what's inside?
Grinning widely as he saw that he had amused Sophie as well with his plan to taste test the dangerously named food, he said, "Good, you'd better. I'd hold you partially responsible, you know." He winked to show her he was joking. "Besides, I'd rather have some lovely company if I'm going to end up in a place like that." Who wouldn't though? And Sophie had already proven that she was delightful company as well as nice to look at.
Perhaps many people who weren't privy to the inner workings of a Quidditch team would wonder the same. "No, no not all of them," he said, shaking his head a bit. "Most of the current line-up have extended contracts that last a few years, but there are always a few that need to renegotiate if their contract is up and sometimes there are trades to be made. And there is almost always an opening to be had every year even if it is just for reserve." Hopefully that was an understandable explanation.
Kieran watched as Sophie tried some of the food, nodding as she spoke. "Yeah, I think it's as good a time as any to see if I'm going to get cursed," he grinned before picking up the hot dog. He took a bite, chewed for a moment, then clutched at his chest. "Oh no, I think I've been.... Nah, nothing," he added with a chuckle as he straightened back up and shrugged. Joking. Only joking. Perfectly normal hot dog.
He ate some more of the hot dog, grinning as she said she was becoming a fan. "I knew it. No one can resist our Irish charm." Sometimes one game was all it took to push someone in the right direction, but he knew his team was the best. He nodded a bit as she talked of her work. "Well, that's good.. We don't want a bunch of sick people because of one witch's mushrooms." Then he smiled a knowing smile as he shook his head. "Not at all. I find it challenging, like a game. How to put together the strongest line-ups and make the best use of my player's individual as well as collective talents." Ok, so maybe some of the paperwork was a bit tedious, but he kind of loved doing the other stuff.
"A place like that," Sophie repeated. "St Mungos, isn't so bad. I worked there before I started working for the ministry. The healers there know what they are doing." Furrowing her brow's at Kieran she questioned. "I take it you're not a fan of hospitals and healers then?" If Kieran had something against healers and hospital would it turn into a problem later? Sophie didn't currently work as a healer but she had done so not long ago and there was always a possibility that she’d go back later.
She listened intently as Kieran explained how it worked with contracts and players. When he finished Sophie responded. "It seems pretty similar to how companies in other fields employ people, even if Quidditch is more dependent on if a season is in session or not." It was nice to know though that quidditch contracts could be long term. Given that her brother had held a dream of working as a professional player until recently and now just followed the sport from the sidelines.
As soon as Kieran picked up the hot dog and started to munch on it. Sophie got a nervous flutter in her stomach that got worse when he started to clutch as his chest. She was seriously on her way to pull out her wand from her purse to apply first-aid on Kieran when he straightened up and chuckled at her. Poking him in the arm Sophie gave him one long sour look."That was not funny. I really thought you got sick by the hot dog." Hmpf! Please no more jokes about curses. Shudder.
Using her fork she attacked the food on her plate eating in silence for a moment. When she had completed a portion of fish and ships Sophie raised her head to look at Kieran again wondering. "What position would you play if you mounted your broom to play in a game?" Her guess was chaser but she could be wrong.
Puck grinned, “I’ve done a few hair charms before” she admitted with a laugh and placed her hand against her hair. “Last year in school for a bit I had it bright pink, and I’ve also had it purple,” she admitted with a laugh. “But I’ve yet to go silver, I might have to try it sometime then,” she added finally before taking another stop closer to the food station.
“Oh I’m meeting my friends to watch whoever’s on next by the mainstage after grabbing food” she nodded, “well…sort of alone, friends know kind of where I am, and…really, I’m nearly sixteen its not that big of a deal if I’m alone according to my…brother” she laughed.
Oh. She was next in line! One, two…finally, the guy was gone and now she had food she could order. She carefully glanced at the menu before ordering quite a bit of food…hunger obviously making her order far too much, or one would think…as she placed an order for both fish and chips with ALL of the condiments for the chips, a corn dog…because really she had ordered the fish and chips for the chips alone, the lemon squash drink, and one of the Friend Potters…after all food was kind of her thing.
“I look like a pig but, seriously chips are the best” she laughed not caring really what people thought of her order. "and Eden and Rorie needed food...of course" she added though it was a lie she was not requested to buy ANY food for anyone else but what did everyone else know.

"Sadly, yes," Alex sighed, shaking her head at him. "Really a pity cause like i was totally just getting to know you. But anyway, the lucky bloke, I actually think you might know him...." She smiled when he said he wouldn't be jealous and couldn't resist leaning up to give him another peck. "You're sweet."
And totally not into the whole corn dog . thing, apparently. Pity, cause they were delicious. "No corn dog? You'd really rather go for the festival pizza? Because you know, that pizza has nothing on REAL Italian pizza, and I'm pretty sure I'd gag after the first bite." Alex said. "But seeing how sweet we both are, we should probably keep the sweetness going and just share a funnel cake." Nice and safe, yes? And they did smell amazing.
Cole Knight grinned. He actually wondered sometimes why they broke up the first time. It seemed so silly and pointless now. To have met in school, dated, broken up and then back at this - if that wasn't a sign, he didn't know what else could be. So yeah, his mind was set - the only trouble was how to do it.
Alex was definitely oblivious to it all. It didn't seem like she knew what had been taking away his sleep these days, which was a good thing of course.
"Actually - I was thinking, do you think we can skip all this and go somewhere else?" he found himself asking all of a sudden. It was out of the blue but he didn't know how else to do it.

Was she rambling too much? Because it seemed like all she kept hearing was her voice and Cole was so silent. Reflective. Pensive. Sometimes Alex wished she had learned Legilmency, especially at moments like these when her boyfriend just listened. Because there was no way he had nothing to say.
Wait. What? Skip all this? But they just got here. Actually, it was all young bands anyway and even though they were talented artists, she found herself nodding at Cole. "If it would bring you back to me instead of being lost in thought, then yes. Anywhere." Alex smiled and squeezed his hand.

Kieran tilted his head and looked at Sophie curiously. Um.. what? He thought maybe she misunderstood. It happened. "I simply meant it's no fun to get sick or cursed or worse. No one wants to be admitted into the hospital," he chuckled. "But I'm sure it's a very nice place." He, luckily enough, had never had the misfortune of being admitted there himself even with the Quidditch injuries he sustained over the years. His team healer was always sufficient.
Whoa.. girl needed to lighten up a bit. Merlin, if looks could kill. Still, he kept his charming grin and shook his head as he chuckled some more. "It was just a joke, no big thing." Nice to know that someone would be quick to his rescue though, even if she was a little uptight about it. He ate a bit more while Sophie was silent and had thoughts about moving more towards the music when he looked up as she spoke. "Well, I played Chaser for almost twenty years before I became the team's manager, so that would be my position of choice," he said with a grin, forgetting that she had only recently become a fan.
