While it would appear that the front counter is made of wood, especially judging by the hardwood top surface, caution stripes color the sides - but don't worry, they don't flash or anything. The counter's style is no more distracting than anything else within the shop, in fact it blends in pretty well!

The shopkeeper, Galilea Grimaldi, can usually be found sitting or standing behind the counter alone or with the company of her toddler, Fitz. If not, again - don't worry, she's still somewhere in the store; probably in the backroom or off helping a customer. Hold tight and she'll be right with you!

OOC: Please do not chat in this thread unless it's with the shopkeeper (Shanners)! This thread is for check-out as well as asking questions and/or for assistance, and there are two other threads for RP chatter.

Oliver cocked a brow as a little girl and her brother burst their way to the counter in a flash of explosions and fireworks. They paid quickly and left. He took the galleons and rung them up with a shrug of the shoulders.

“Afternoon.” Oliver greeted the next kid who wandered up to the counter, he tilted a head and looked at his pile of items and then back at the kid. “Comes to 5 galleons, 16 sickles all together, mate.” He informed him politely. Was that alright?

Smiling at the next customer, Oliver wrapped up her purchase, leaving the Pygmy puff to continue nestling in her arms where it seemed very happy indeed, he rung up the items on the cash register. “That's 5 galleons, 15 sickles, please.” He informed her.

Eliza pulled her moneybag up from her robe pocket and tossed a pile of galleons onto the counter she then picked a handful off and left what she thought must be at least eighteen. "Keep it all" she told him.

Carigan had walked silently and unnoticed around the shop, which was usually quite difficult for her, but she was in awe at the sheer size of the place. She held something in her hand she had picked up on the way and she wondered about what exactly it did. She walked over to the counter and got the attention of the shopkeeper.

"Excuse me, but, I picked up this daydream charm and I was wondering what it does?" she asked smiling.

Hannah was glad the shopkeeper didn't look like he was annoyed by her question. Maybe he would actually give her an honest answer, and not just shoo her out of the shop. She paid the man and leaned in a little closer just in case anybody felt the need to eavesdrop...afterall this was a joke shop. "I was wondering about the love potion. How exactly does that work? Hannah thought for a minute about how to better explain her situation. "I mean for example if I put it in somebodys cup would they fall in love with me?" That is not what she was wanting but she didn't want to say too much...what if this man was friends with a professor? You could never be too careful.

"I guess what I am really wondering is if you put the potion in someones cup is there a way you pick the person that the drinkee will "fall" in love with?" There she said it. That was pretty much what she was getting at and she could figure out the rest on her own...surely.

He shook his head to her question, the smirk growing. “The drinker falls in love with the person who gave them the potion.” He replied. “So.. if you wanted the drinker to fall in love with someone else, you'd have to somehow trick them into slipping it into their drink.” He tapped the side of his nose in a 'keep it hushed' sort of way.

Carigan smiled and looked back at the little charm inside the tin. She liked the way it looked. She definitely wanted it. "Well, sir, I'll take it!" She smiled, her tiny eyes turning to slits with flashes of blue beyond.

Minerva had her purple puff and his cage in hand. "Hello" she smiled at the cute pup "who are you?" she then looked for the shopkeeper to pay for her new little family member.

Wesley was rather excited to see a little girl come up to his counter. The first customer since the students got out of school! He slid behind the counter and grinned at the girl with the purple Pygmy Puff.

"That's little Pippin," he said nodding to his little puppy. Pippin hopped up on his hind legs and propped his front paws on the little fence, wagging his tail in excitement at the little girl.

"Might I recommend some Ton Tongue Toffees? Or will this little Puff be all? He was a cute little fellow.

Nigel was wondering what he would buy here because there were so many awesome things. But he finally decided on a box Fainting Fancys, one Headless Hat and a box of muggle magic tricks because he wanted to see how muggles use magic. he walks up to the counter with all these items and say to the person behind the counter "I would like to buy all of these please"
