While it would appear that the front counter is made of wood, especially judging by the hardwood top surface, caution stripes color the sides - but don't worry, they don't flash or anything. The counter's style is no more distracting than anything else within the shop, in fact it blends in pretty well!

The shopkeeper, Galilea Grimaldi, can usually be found sitting or standing behind the counter alone or with the company of her toddler, Fitz. If not, again - don't worry, she's still somewhere in the store; probably in the backroom or off helping a customer. Hold tight and she'll be right with you!

Sarah's birthday was coming up. And he wanted oto let her know that he remembered the 20th of February for being her birthday, although she was away at hogwarts. Fever Fudge (box of 12 for 7 sickles) seemed ideal for his drama queen sister. He stood on his tip-toes to reach the counter and placed the skiving snackbox on it. "I want to buy this for my sister. Do they allow these in Hogwarts?" James asked, the man behind the counter. Maybe if he was quick with his purchasing he could catch up to his mother at the owl post office and she can send his present along with her present.

Wesley had been checking things off of his ordering list when he heard the metal jingle of Pippin's tag bounce against his collar. The puppy hopped up on it's back legs, putting his front paws on the short fence that separated his playpen with the rest of the store. A customer! That's why he was excited! Wesley grinned at the young boy who appeared before his counter with a box of... "Fever Fudge! Deliciously horrifying." Indeed.

Did they allow them at Hogwarts? Heh. Wesley gave the boy a laugh. "I have no idea, kiddo. But I'll have you know that those Hogwarts students are my best customers when it comes to Skiving Snackboxes. So they haven't gotten in too much trouble yet." So, sure. They were allowed.

After much internal debate... Carter found himself at the joke shop to place an order. A special order.

He walked up to the counter fiddling with something in his pocket.

It was about time he'd come up with a plan.

He had seen the young man coming from the street. And once he approached the door, Wesley hid behind his mahogany counter and hugged his knees to his chest so he couldn't be seen.

Hearing the footsteps come up to the counter, he looked over at Pippin to see that he was sitting in his fenced area, staring up at the gentleman with big, round eyes, patiently wagging his tail and ignoring his owner. Good boy.

Wesley reached into his cardigan pocket and pulled out a Ton Tongue Toffee. Using his wand, he levitated it... and flung it over the counter to where the customer should have been standing.

Hehehehehehee.

Well... not really...

He'd already finished practice, and was a good few hours away from Destiny getting home. SO. He had plenty of time.

He was just completely impatient. Especially with something like this.

He then bent over. "Oh Sweet Merlin." he muttered. Someone threw a ton-tongue toffee at him.

It seemed like this kid wasn't really well prepared. But oh well. Wesley had time. Especially since his store wasn't always so popular when it wasn't summer.

Wesley watched as he pulled out a small box and his mouth formed into an big "O". Was that an ENGAGEMENT RING? "Well, might I suggest her favorite colors?" That was always a good start.

He was going to mention the fact that most fireworks were done at night... But he just held his tongue. He probably didn't need to add to the guy's confusion and nerves. "Whites and blues, okay." He nodded and wrote that down. "Anything else? In my opinion, the more colors, the merrier. But I guess that depends on the girl's taste." Shrug. He was just trying to help him out.

Wesley scratched his chin. "Do you want it to say... 'will you marry me'?" Just a wild suggestion.

It was one of those dreary winter days, just after the new year when Fletcher would rather be taking a nap than taking his daughter out to D.A. But he'd promised Rae a few hours of peace, no fighting, no whining kid, and so here he was.

Outside his ~~second~~ favorite shop in all of London. Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. Ah. "Let's go, Mal," he announced confidently, giving his two-and-a-half year old's hand a squeeze. He led the way into the shop and made a beeline for the counter, where he promptly lifted Mallory over the enclosure meant for a puppy. Patting the girl on the head, Fletcher then turned away to go roam the shelves.

She'd be fine there with the dog to watch her, right? Right. And plus, she could PLAY with the puppy while he shopped! Win-win.
