On the opposite side of the shop from the pygmy puffs is a brand new, brightly colored area. Large balloons in various animal shapes float above a colorful and slightly falling apart stand with a giant helium tank sitting beside it. A few feet away are several shelves full of every magical toy you could ever dream of, just waiting for you to take them home.

Looking for that perfect birthday present? What’s better than a miniature Quidditch set? Complete with a two-feet-wide Quidditch Pitch and your own quidditch teams to play the game while you watch! Or how about a mini Magizoo set? You can take care of your own magical creatures right in your house! Feel free to browse the shelves! You’ll find everything from teddy bears to enchanted model trains! These toys are great as birthday or Christmas gifts, or even just to buy for your own entertainment. You don’t have to be a kid to enjoy toys, either. You’ll find that there are toys for every age! If you have a question or need assistance, please ask the shopkeeper. Please don’t try to reach the high shelf items by yourself.

If balloons are more your thing, prepare to be amazed! That is no ordinary tank of helium. Is it even ~~legal~~ helium at all? Who knows! This magical helium is charmed to keep your balloons high in the air... FOREVER! No more droopy birthday balloons! The balloons come in four different sizes (small, medium, large, super-jumbo) and 10 different animal shapes. Could it get better than that? YES, because the animals MOVE. Wow! Talk about awesome. If you would like to purchase balloons, please ring the bell on the balloon counter and the shopkeeper will be there to assist you in a moment. Please do not try to use the helium tank by yourself.

Cat GRINNED. "Thanks! I think you're cuter than an average kangaroo, for the record." Though, she was now thinking about words that rhymed with kangaroo, but the only thing she could come up with was dino poo. She tried to keep up with Alice's thoughts, but it proved to be a little difficult of a task to do so while bouncing and holding bear hug bear. "I have NO idea, but I like the way you think!" She started bouncing in the direction of the front counter, "C'mon, Alice Palace, let's bounce."

See? It totally worked in two ways there. She sure was witty.

Hrmmm...

Oakey could not believe he was being tasked with this mundane task of getting Aegis a Birthday Gift. The boy's birthday wasn't even for another month at least, but GeeGee said it has to be important he he get her Grandson something, because he'll be off on the Train for his final year at Hogwarts before the kids birthday.
So he found himself wandering into Weasley's and over to the Toy Section. Last year he just made Aegis a paper hat to make Valentine wear. Aegis seemed to have liked that becuase he was obsessed with dressing the damn bird up all last summer. He lost the hat while on one his angry bird frenzies, and Harvey's nephew was devistated. NO HAT THIS YEAR THOUGH demanded Granny Gunter, get him a real gift.

Oakey just stared at the aile of toys before him completely unsure as to what Aegis even enjoyed.

Lex grumbled as she made her way down the aisles of the store. Were it not for her father she wouldn't be here right now--actually she would but it wouldn't be to go shopping for something NICE for the creature Amanda brought home from the hospital. Merlin, she kept saying they needed to return it before it got comfortable and decided to stay but NOOOO, no one ever listened to her. His eyes skimming each of the toys and toy sets. Nothing seemed to stand out. He was about to just leave here and do some of his own school shopping until something came to mind to get the little snot. As he was turning around to leave someone bumped right into him. "sor..." Oakey began to apologize believing that it was his fault for the accident, but stopped short when the familiar voice of Alexa started berate him for his actions. "Sorry, Alexa." He gave the short tempered little lion a small smile, "sometimes I can't help it....Hi to you too."

'Specially not since he was so willing to apologize and she most certainly was NOT.

Help? What kind of help? SHE COULD HELP!! She was GOOD at helping!!!...Erm...depending on who you asked. Heh.

"Suuuuuuure but then you have to help me too!!!" Because Oakey was good at giving bad gifts and that's exactly what she needed for the little creature. "The way I see it, we can help each other. So what can I do for you???" BEAM.

It sounded legit to Alice, who was also busy trying to think of rhymes for kangaroo. "Kangaroo is a particularly difficult word to rhyme," she informed the world, but mostly Cat. "Like, what does rhyme with kangaroo? Hullabaloo? What about Waterloo? Are proper nouns even allowed?"

Maybe after they bought their pogo sticks and started bouncing down the street, they could come up with rhyming rules or something. "Right behind you, Caterina Ocarina." And with that thought in mind, Alice began bouncing after her toward the counter.

"Wow!" Asher exclaimed as he entered the shop. It was better than he had remembered. There were so many things he wanted and wished he could buy. So many things. He continued to look around, hoping to run into someone to chat with. The only thing better than shopping at Weasley's was shopping with a friend.

Keeping a look out for the perfect item to take to Hogwarts with him, Asher looked up and down each section with great care.

Best friend time had been limited this summer, what with Catty taking off to places unknown that did not contain an Elodie nor concern an Elodie. What mattered now was best friend time was restored and they had things to DO. Well..Elodie had things to do, and Cat was just being dragged along. NOT that she would complain because TOYS.

TOYS!

Oh, for heavens sake, Elodie may have been fifteen no, but she was most certainly STILL a child. She could squeal over childrens things all she liked. Besides, Radley would totally want things. So would Jessie and Ophelia, right? RIGHT? She was just going to be the aunt that tested things out and spoilt them rotten, and luckily Cat had taken to the BABY and could be the OTHER aunt.

"So do I get them balloons or TOYS?" Opinions were required, Catty.

Fresh back from Egypt and Cat was already at Diagon Alley hanging out with her BFF. Her mother was going to complain later about how she'd left home so quickly and had hardly spent any time with her since school let out. She WAS going to have to be going home for a while soonish, but this was important time here.

She had to laugh at Cat's obvious self-loving trip, and stuck her tongue out at her. "She does for definite. But that's only because she's pretty damn hot herself." Oh, ego hello there, nice to see you. She tutted a little, running her fingers across a tea set before raising an eyebrow at her best friend. "You can change him, only for the fact that when he does start crushing on you, I can tease him endlessly." Because that was what her job was. Embarrassing aunt. It came with the title, and Elodie loved that about it.

She caught Cat jumping out of the corner of her eye, and turned to look at her with an amused expression set on her face. If she fell and broke something, they were RUNNING. Unless it was a bone, and then Elodie was just going to scream for help and pray there was no blood. Of course, Cat was a professional and no breaks happened. Skipping ropes did though. "We should get one each and use them at schooooooool." She just wanted to get something to use at SCHOOL.

The top shelf? Elodie looked up once and wiggled her eyebrows at her bff. "Climb onto my shoulders?" Two babes was better than one, was it not? They'd be insanely tall if they did that, and everyone would love them. More than usual, heh. "Since when have I ever conformed to best friend stereotype?" Or followed the best friend rules, even.

Els twirled on the spot a little to see what OTHER things there were to make play with because bff was totally cheating on her with a bear right now. WAIT WHUT. Bears for themselves?""?!!?!?!!!!?!!! She grinned and made a grab for a bear too, nodding her head. "Bears for all THREE of us! And we can have a teddy bear picnic with Radley." Which only made her look back at that tea set. EEEK. Planning for sleepovers with infants was fun, and it was going to probably get them into trouble or something because they got distracted way too easily. For example, THESE BEARS WERE SO CUTE OH WOW WHAT THE HEY. "Elcat..." she pondered over hat for a moment before nodding with a grin. "I LIKE IT!" Elcat sounded more awesome, the more you said it. Elcat. Elcat. Elcat. Elodie SQUEALED right then and clapped her hands and bounced the bear in her arms. "SPAGHETTIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!" There was a love, okay?

Fist bumpage equaled best friendage, and that was achieved right in that moment. HUZZAH. Def a pile of hotness. And then best friend was gone again, and Elodie could only trail after her, shaking her head for only a second before getting HERSELF distracted. Boyfriend talk prompted her to look at that FAIRY. "The twins call Coul a fairy. I should get him one to maybe make him smile and things." He wasn't a happy bunny as of late, so Elodie kisses and a fairy could totally get happy Coul back. WOOO HAPPY BOYFRIEND. "But yes, get that for Mo." She'd seen it. She could see.

They were going to spend their life in this part of the store, weren't they? Uh oh. Life earnings down the drain. Goodbye.

Landon Hughes walked into WWW and walked over to the toy center. He was supposed to meet Melanie here today and he was nervous. It was strange because he had never been this nervous in his life really. He swung the red bag in his hands back and forth which held a teddy bear and a teddy bear sweater he got for Melanie. Why? Well he hoped it might help the situation better. Heh. And maybe it would get her to consider that they could be more than friends. Maybe. If not, today would just be a failure.

Somehow Melanie had wandered into the wrong store and well, realized the second she had entered Wiseacres. It was a bit awkward entering through the doors only to turn around and walk straight back out. Then she had nearly walked back in forgetting she needed to be at the place with three W's because Wiseacres just had loads of interesting stuff. But it didn't matter now, she was here walking towards the balloons and the toys, right where she said she'd meet Landon.

She smiled when she saw someone with a beanie standing not too far off with his back to her. That had to be Landon because she recognized the beanie. Melanie was rather fond of his beanies. Grateful that she had chosen flats over heels today, Melanie moved as quietly as she could towards him.

"Guess who," Melanie said in a singsong sort of voice, covering Landon's eyes the best she could while standing on tippytoes.

Hopefully he could guess fast because standing like this was not comfortable.

"Yeah, but they look like unicorn horns sometimes unless you're a rebel now." He chuckled. At least he wouldn't have to be on high alert today to make sure she wouldn't fall down because of those dreaded things. He was already nervous. "Thanks. I think this is the one you actually stole that one day...or maybe it was the green one." He said, taking off his beanie and looking at it. Melanie readjusted her hat just a little, enjoying the way it felt. It was so warm and nice. Melanie liked it.

Which guy? Amused, Melanie watched Landon tap a guy on the shoulder and covered her mouth, trying not to burst out laughing when she saw the guy's confused look. "Oh I think I know that guy. He might go to Hogwarts," Melanie said as seriously as she could before bursting out laughing. So the present wasn't for the dude? Melanie had figured that much out but she wasn't sure why she was getting a present. She took the bag and looked inside it smiling. "What's the occasion?" Melanie asked, taking out the teddy bear and squishing it's tummy. Oh.

It was soft. And there was a sweater in there too! Melanie was grinning as she touched the sweater. Oh, that felt really soft and nice too. Sadly, it was a bit too warm now to wear it.

Landon rolled his eyes. If anyone was going to do that now, it would be Melanie. Unless Ryan all of a sudden got the idea to do it, which he doubted he would. Heh. Boo. "Yeah, I can see over crowds and not have to stand on my toes, but being short is probably fun because you can fit in tiny spaces." He nodded, turning around to see what she had poked him with. An auror action figure!? "I used to have like ten of those!" He then realized what he had said and coughed. "I mean...I had maybe one of those when I was younger. Silly things really." Awkward.

Good thing Melanie brought up silly faces though or else he thought he might be trapped in that situation forever. Two faces though? "What? Is Melanie Sung jealous of my puppy dog face?" That stung a little... or more like a lot. "Well, I want you to be there," she muttered quietly to herself, playing with the teddy bear Landon had given her. And now he looked upset and that made Melanie feel bad. She followed him down the aisle and placed the teddy bear back in the bag. "I wouldn't be able to name the bear Landon anyways because if I put him by my bed, it'll be like you're watching me sleep," she pointed out, trying to lighten the mood a little.

"However, she is jealous that Landon had ten of these cute little auror action figures," she said, laughing, playing with the action figure again. Melanie wondered if it would light up or something. No? Well then.

He wasn't going to be there.

That stung a little... or more like a lot. "Well, I want you to be there," she muttered quietly to herself, playing with the teddy bear Landon had given her. And now he looked upset and that made Melanie feel bad. She followed him down the aisle and placed the teddy bear back in the bag. "I wouldn't be able to name the bear Landon anyways because if I put him by my bed, it'll be like you're watching me sleep," she pointed out, trying to lighten the mood a little.

Landon turned to look at Melanie when she said that girls liked it when guys were taller than them. "Oh do they now." He grinned, wiggling his eyebrows at her. Heh. Did that mean that she likes him being tall? Who knows, but he'll definitely take it that way.

He mentally slapped himself for even blurting that out. She'll never let him live it down; he just knew. "Not anymore." He rolled his eyes. He got rid of them around five years ago. Not because he wanted too but because Daphne 'accidentally' spilled pink paint all over them. Power Rangers? "I think I remember them...maybe...uh...no." He shook his head. It sort of sounded familiar but then again all he'd watch when he was younger was SpongeBob Squarepants.

Landon laughed as he could see Melanie blushing and looking away from his face. "Your cheeks tell a different story." He winked at her. "Well if I had kept them, you could've had them. You should get one today." He smirked. Then she might stop bothering him about it. Heh.

He heard Melanie say something but didn't quite hear it. He obviously wanted to go to Hogwarts but it just really was unlikely. He sighed as he heard her come near him. He couldn't help but let a small smile show as she said it would be like he was watching her. "Yeah, nevermind. Don't name him Landon." He chuckled, turning around towards her. "I'm sorry, I just...I can't take it when you say that I'll be there but I just won't. It's getting my hopes up when I know they'll just crash and burn."
