Weasleys' Wizard WheezesFor fun and games, jokes and pranks, come inside and check out everything from skiving snackboxes to the WonderWitch product line.
What started as a dream became a small school business, and then a reality for the Weasley twins. Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes first opened its doors at Number 93 Diagon Alley in the summer of 1996, shedding light and laughter during a difficult time. It has been many, many years since that first day and although they are no longer around, the twins would be proud to know WWW has remained just as popular, if not more so since and continues to grow all the time. The legacy they left behind will never be forgotten, so long as Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes is around.
As you enter the joke shop plenty of noise and chatter will reach your ears, but to most the environment isn't an overwhelming sight, some even welcome it. Gazing around, you'll notice several Headless Hats (or are they Anti Gravity Hats? ) hanging just behind the front counter thats decked out in 'fun' caution stripes - Was it, the counter, the scene of a crime prank? Hmm..
Continuing through the shop, you'll find plenty of aisles and displays that overflow with cool tricks and toys from punching telescopes to fake wands, there is also a wide variety of edible prankster goodies like canary creams and ton-tongue toffees and many more headless and anti-gravity hats hang scattered over the aisles and displays. All WWW fireworks are kept on the upper shelves and cannot easily be reached by hand; if you are under age, please do not attempt getting them down on your own and ask the shopkeeper for assistance!
Toward the right is a violently pink area, a line of with nothing but WonderWitch products. LARGE blossomed, beautiful magenta flowers are used as a display for love potions and other girly things, feel free to browse and don't forget to take a peek at the Pygmy Puff corner at the very end, just under the pink-curtained window. They love the attention.
To the left, you'll find the NEW balloon stand and toy center, with tons of shelves filled with all of the magical toys you could ever imagine. Everything from Auror action figures to your very own miniature magizoo set can be found among other incredible toys for all ages. Not to mention HUGE balloons in every color and shape imaginable!
In the very back of the store is a closed door, behind which is the back room that serves as a storage as well as sometimes-work-place when the shopkeeper stays late to get things done she couldn't while the shop is open and customers are coming and going. The door is not usually locked, but the room is OFF limits unless you have a purpose to be back there and permission.
