Notices

Vaults The vaults are reached by means of small, goblin-driven carts that sped along miniature train tracks through the bank's underground tunnels. Beware of sphinxes and the Thief's Downfall! [Only characters who have the approval of the Gringotts Goblins should RP here or else expect rather severe (perhaps even deadly) IC consequences!]

Vault number 811

A old family vault that had been recently inspected and reopened by goblin staff. The vault is deep underground, a large vault that has obviously been in use for a long time. Bookshelves fill the room, containing countless books and journals. A magically-expanded art case is filled with portraits from different eras. Another case is filled with magical tools, both common and rare. In the center is a strange mechanism, rather like a Muggle vending machine, which dispenses Galleons, Sickles, and Knuts and appears to be well stocked. In one corner sits a small table and a comfortable chair for the vault's owner to make use of when attending to the vault's contents. This vault requires a key as well as the touch of a goblin along the detailed framework of the door - a human would be sucked into the vault and stuck there for a decade were they to attempt to break in without a Gringotts goblin's help.

Wand: 13⅔ inch rigid hornbeam with firecrab shell
Key Type: ornate brass key with moon symbol
Access Approved For:
Luther Apollo Starriver (Freyr), Leo (house elf)

Post Vault #811

Sagni didn't bother to help the boy out of the cart. She went immediately over to the door of the vault, and put both the boy's key and her own goblin key in the twin locks, but it was not until Sagni drew over long-nailed finger over the intricate tracing around the lock that, with a clatter, the mechanism began unwinding across the entire door. It took a few minutes.

Sagni pulled the door open then stepped out of the way so that the boy could take care of whatever business he had in there. Sagni would not bother to look, for she felt it was none of her business.

ooc: Feel free to RP your character in his vault as wished. Sagni will be checking to see when he's ready to return.

As Sagni did her thing at the door, Luther was too nervous to wonder how the door worked. A soft light poured through the door revealing the contents of the vault.

'This is it. We are finally back.' thought Luther and stepped inside the vault. There were tons of stuff that Luther wanted to go and check in each corner of the vault.

It can be easily seen that the young Starriver was overwhelmed by a myriad of emotions. Excited for the future, intimidated by the expectations and sadness due to him being the last one of his family.

After checking everything he could find, his excitement and curiosity simmered down to a steady fire. Playing with his ribbon, Luther looked at the pensieve in front of him.

"I will not forget you." whispered Luther to himself. Carrying the surprisingly light box of the pensieve and couple of journals of one of his ancestors, Luther went to the weird coin dispenser in the middle of the room, thinking 'I should buy Aria and Caes something.' and curiously watched the machine pour the exact amount of coins he entered.

Then he turned back to look at the vault for one last time. Taking a deep breath, Luther left the vault and called to Sagni "Thank you, I am done for today. We can leave."
