| | Music Classroom Upon entering this large classroom, it is very obvious what its purpose is. This room is dedicated to teaching Muggle and Wizard Music and is used by members of both the Frog Choir and Orchestra. Instrument cases of all shapes and sizes as well as rows of music stands with accompanying stools fill the inside of this room. In the front, a conductor's stand is positioned in between a polished black piano and a complete drum set.
For many at Hogwarts, students and adults alike, this is one of their favourite places inside the castle. At various hours throughout the day, wonderful music is made and you get to take a break from anything overly theoretical and hone your musical talents. Fortunately for those in Transfiguration or in other parts of the castle, your marvelous melodies cannot disturb them for the room is completely soundproof. So play as loud as you want! This space can also be reserved after scheduled class hours if you and your friends have formed a band and need somewhere appropriate to practice.

| For Kath Mom says I have no sense of direction, so I packed my bags and right. Taliesin liked this place. All the instruments as far as the eye could see. Or well, at least within the confines of this room. It wasn't wholly expansive but still very spacious enough to let the sound of music bounce off the walls and back to the musician. He brought his own Violin in with him to practice today. He took a seat off to the side out of sight of anyone else that may enter into the Music Classroom. Out of fear that they might start to watch him play. If there was another room within the room that he could close himself off in to practice he would jump into it in a heartbeat.
Alas he would have to make due as he normally did while in here. If he started to get crowded he'd take his practice back into the safety of his Dorm Room.
He started with a bit of practice with playing the strings portion of Bard's Dance

| astronomizzle ♧ gryffinDORK | & the rest is drag ♣ #badluckDerf Bria’s heart raced as she carefully cradled the three small eggs nestled in a soft cloth she’d borrowed from her dorm. The nest she’d discovered in the tower patch seemed like something straight out of a storybook - a cozy, abandoned little sanctuary hidden amidst the wild thistles and ivy of the ancient stone tower. She’d known right away that the nest was abandoned because the eggs (three pale blue ones speckled with tiny, dark flecks) had been cold to the touch. There was no sign of the bird anywhere nearby, and no soft chirping or fluttering from the nest over the hours and day and some knuts she had spent observing it, just an eerie stillness. The type of bird, based on the speckled appearance of the eggs, looked similar to a Common Eider. Carefully, Bria had collected the eggs, convinced that perhaps she could hatch them herself since she had helped mum do precisely that with various other eggs prior to her coming to Hogwarts. Or maybe she ought to seek out Professor Paton about the eggs to ensure they had the best possible chance for survival - even if she was perfectly confident she could handle the incubation and hatching process on her own.
Her feet shuffled along the stone corridor as she passed by the music room and the soft, flowing notes of a violin drifted through the cracked door, immediately catching her attention. Bria paused, a smile tugging at her lips as she tiptoed backwards a couple of steps to frame herself in the doorway once again. The sound was so familiar, as though it carried an energy she could almost feel in her bones, and yet entirely foreign. Perhaps it was less the music itself and the feeling poured into the playing that was what resonated with her. Tucking the cloth against her chest, Bria carefully pushed open the door and peered through it, her eyes landing on a blond boy she recognized from the Hufflepuff house. She’d seen him around the castle and, of course, in lessons but hadn’t had a chance to properly meet him yet. His concentration was absolute, his brow furrowed in the most endearing way as his fingers and bow danced over the violin’s strings. The kind of concentration one might expect from a centaur focusing on a constellation or smoke rising from a fire.
Bria leaned against the doorframe for a moment, captivated. She was hesitant to interrupt but, realizing she’d never met him properly, she cleared her throat softly, hoping to grab his attention without disturbing the melody too abruptly. "Hi," she said, her voice quiet at first, then a bit more confident. "I’ve seen you around. You’re in Hufflepuff, right? Um, Addyson's brother, I Think? That was... beautiful. What's it from? It felt familiar."

| Mom says I have no sense of direction, so I packed my bags and right. Taliesin was really feeling it. Any and all senses escaped him besides sound. In fact, all his senses could have just become sound. Taste was sound, touch was sound, sight was sound, smell was sound, feeling was sound. He could be swaying to the music he was crafting with his violin in hand. Was he only onlookers would be able to tell him. He hoped there were none. He could not bare to let that thought overtake him.
As he got to the final bar his foot began to tap to create a bit of percussion for the beat. Then his focus snapped as someone spoke over all his now sound senses. He fell over backwards in his seat but held his Violin up and out so that it would not be damaged from his tumble. Sound was no longer touch as he felt the wind kick out of him from landing on his back and he let out a loud "Ough!" He looked up his dizzied sight from the quick fall backwards refocused. His Outstretched Arms held his undamaged Violin overhead and then he turned his head to look toward the door to the Music room and saw the girl standing in it's frame looking directly at him. He caught his breath back and then scrambled to his knees grabbing his violin case and horridly put it back away. "I-it was nothing...I'm okay. T-thank you." She had seen him play. He hated being watched while he played and she just did all that without him knowing it. How horribly embarrassing. He must have sounded terrible and she was just being nice.
Once he got his violin put away he realized. He could not escape the music room without having to pass by her. He was trapped now and white in the face. This was 10x worse than that Acromantula. "You know Addy?" He looked at her and saw her Gryffindor gear. "Are you sure you don't mean Ava?" His sisters were identical after all. They can be confused if you didn't truly know who they were and their personalities. The both of them being in different houses should be dead giveaways though, and if she was Gryffindor than surely she meant Avalon, and not Addyson. Great Detective Dane was there to help correct mistakes.
The white of his face started to flush out back to it's normal color.

Bria’s eyes widened as she quickly rushed over to help him, though her instinct to assist was momentarily tempered by the care she needed to give the fragile eggs in her arms. A couple rushed tiptoes forward and several back, rinse and repeat a few times and the Gryffindor realized she really ought to set the eggs down. So she did just that, gently on the nearest table - more shuffled steps back in the process - before rushing back to Taliesin’s side, offering her hand with a sympathetic smile and flushed cheeks.
"Are you okay? I sincerely didn’t mean to, well... startle you so much...or at all," she said, her voice filled with a genuine concern as her gaze moved up and down him for any sign of something more serious - as well as lingered on the violin and how he had quite literally sacrificed his physical well-being to protect it in the fall. "I guess the sound of your violin was so amazing that it completely swept us both away in its melody. I’m just glad you didn’t, like, break it or anything...and hopefully not yourself too?" She reached up and waved her hand at the air between them. "Sorry about that...the interrupting of your melody and the sanctuary you built in it, I mean." Her eyes sparkled with playful curiosity as she caught his flustered expression, noticing how he was still trying to collect himself after the tumble.
Bria giggled and tossed her head side to side, blonde hair tickling her cheeks as she did so. "Oh, no, I’m definitely sure it’s Addyson...unless she was playing a trick on me. She was quite enthralled in a book she was reading. I think she may have actually gone into another world with how passionate she was about it," she nodded. "I...er...interrupted her as well...her reading, I mean. But that wasn't on purpose either. I'm...two for two, for now, I suppose," she added with a sheepish giggle as she tucked some wispy locks behind her ears.
She remembered the eggs at this point and quickly shuffled back over to collect them. She moved with the same tender care as before, her hands hovering over the soft cloth as she gently cradled the three pale blue eggs, each speckled with dark flecks. With a satisfied sigh, she carefully adjusted her hold, her gaze shifting back to her new Hufflepuff friend and she shuffled back over to him. Bria adjusted the cloth holding the eggs to her chest, her smile warm and a bit sheepish as she finally took a step closer to Taliesin. "I’m Bria, by the way. I’ve seen you in lessons sometimes, but we’ve never had the chance to talk properly," she chirped. "I really am sorry for spooking you earlier...and making you fall over.... I promise I didn't mean to! But I’m glad we’re talking now, especially after hearing you play! Your violin was amazing. It felt like the music had its own heartbeat or its own magic to it! Where did that tune come from? It was beautiful and...sort of reminded me of rolling meadows. Laying in those looking up at the sky on one of those days where white clouds just barely streak the super blue sky."
