Sitting on her bedside table, Luna was smiling from the past term that she'd spent in Hogwarts. It had been her home, yes, for almost three years now but she'd never felt so welcomed until her third year. She became closer with Hermione Granger and her mates, the legendary Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley.

She was writing something on her parchment, one she wasn't even sure what about. Her fingers started to move on their own and her mind, filled with thoughts of yesterday. Thoughts of Hogwarts. She was at home, behind her orange frog-printed curtain tied in a ribbon-like manner. The wind was blowing her shoulder-length blonde hair and the Ravenclaw started to whistle while writing. It had been her thing ever since she was a little kid.

She wrote about her friends at Hogwarts. Two of whom were written on the side in bold cursive letters, isolated from the other names..

She loved them both and she wished they also felt the same way towards her. If only she could read their minds. Oh yeah, she could... SOON.

"Look at them. Don't they have modesty to themselves? Doing public display of affection everywhere! Hogwarts isn't a jungle where you could just snog someone and no one gets bothered because no one cares. It's disturbing and I can't study," Hermione threw her parchment of homework at the table in the library and got up to look for a book that would be very helpful in her study. Luna watched the Gryffindor go to the bookshelves to look for a book, then made a face of dreamy happiness as she studied how Ron Weasley and Lavender Brown tilted their heads while snogging each other.

When Hermione came back, she was still in annoyance about that public display at the study area, which was secretly her outlet for distress at that moment. "I can't believe you Luna, you're clearly enjoying that!" Hermione snapped. She turned to look again at the two but gave up her stare for she couldn't bear it. If only she could use magic and not get in detention for doing so. But if she could, one spell, for Ron to remember not to do it in front of her again, Langlock.

The children opened their presents, ate Christmas foods, watched the street fireworks and waited for Santa under the mistletoe. But, right passed midnight, the lovely parents found all the little ones falling asleep as they lined up at a king-sized bed of the Potter family. Harry, Ron and Rolf suited themselves for a butterbeer while listening to a Christmas special on the radio. The forecasters were singing Deck the Halls as the three joined in the fun. On the other side of the Potter home, the wives, Luna, Hermione and Ginny were chatting while doing an enormous cleaning at the kitchen.

"The children were so happy. Never seen my twins that joyous," Luna uttered.

"Yeah. James, Albus and Rose too. They seemed to be enjoying the company of one another. It makes my heart so happy," Ginny added. "And I also loved that we've finally gathered our family all together for a Christmas celebration. I've been planning these all along."
