Minerva knocked on Albus's bedroom door after using the password (pineapple lumps) to get inside his office. It was late, and she didn't want to disturb him if he was sleeping.
"Albus?" she called out softly into the semi darkness. She looked to the far side of the room and saw Albus sitting on his windowsill, legs hanging outside . He turned to her and smiled, his nightcap flopping to the other side.
"Come look Minerva, the moon is full tonight" he said, beckoning her over. She came and stood behind him, wrapping her arms around his shoulders.

Albus Dumbledore motioned for Minerva to sit, and sit she did.
“Now Minerva, what have young Potter, Lupin, Pettigrew, and Black done this time?”
Minerva McGonagall put her hand up to her face tiredly.
“Apparently first years who ask for directions deserve to have the words ‘I am the walrus’ burned into their robes…”
Albus chuckled appreciatively.
“…Ahhh, the Beatles… Minerva, it’s Valentines Day… Here, you take this rose and I’ll take care of those marauders.”
Minerva blushed as she took the rose.
“Thank you, Albus.”

“But I thought you …” Professor McGonagall began but stopped, seeing his smiling face.
“I don’t mean simply wizard’s magic. Muggles have a magic all their own,” he said, and she smiled at that. Her heart had fallen, just then and forever, in love with Albus Dumbledore. The words he said next, were the clincher, “Want some peppermints?” He shook the paper bag, already sucking on one. They sat on the top of London Bridge watching a troll splashing around, below.
