TheDoctor's 100 Drabbles for Jepp L. Thornton - Sa13+ Hello! I'm TheDoctor, and I'm relatively new to the site. I decided to give writing drabbles a shot to explore my future Ministry of Magic character Jepp, and to let others see how he grew up. ---------- 36. Muggle ----------1. Herbology 2. Pureblood ---------- 6 year old Jepp ---------- “I thought you said muggles couldn’t know about magic?” Jepp questioned. Jason sighed. Teaching his son about magic was fun and one of the best parts about being a dad, but when Jepp got confused it was one of the toughest things for Jason. “Right. But mom and I married and she got to find out.” Jason tried. Jepp was quiet for several moments. “So mom can do magic too? Because she knows about it, right?” Jason took a deep breath. “No Jepp, she can’t do magic. And she doesn’t really like it either. That’s why I’m teaching you.” “Oh.” |
---------- 7 year old Jepp ---------- "Jepp, this one is from your Uncle Lewis." Jason said as he passed the oddly shaped gift to his son. Ready to tear into his next present, Jepp stopped for a moment and looked at his father. "Uncle Lewis?" Jepp asked. "My brother." Jason explained. "Go on. Christmas day won't last forever you know." he urged. Tearing into the gift, Jepp emerged with a pair of pajamas with hippogriffs on them. "Awesome!" Jepp exclaimed as he donned his new gift on top of his current pajamas. "Can I meet Uncle Lewis to tell him thank you?" Jepp asked his parents. |
---------- 7 year old Jepp ---------- "So? Can I meet Uncle Lewis and tell him thank you for these awesome pajamas?" Jepp begged. He never knew that he had an uncle Lewis. Jason fell quiet. "Dad?" "How about you send Uncle Lewis a thank you card, Jepp?" his mother suggested with a cheerful grin. Jepp let out a sigh. "But, a card isn't the same as seeing Uncle Lewis in person." Jepp pointed out. "I know. But Uncle Lewis lives a very long ways away." she replied, just as cheerful as before. Jepp was quiet for a moment. "Okay. I suppose I can send a card." |
