Terry's Tom Riddle Drabbles - Sa13+ 1. Herbology Brew This Potion or Die Trying part 1 17. Cauldron Professor Slughorn addresses his NEWT seventh year class. “Today class, we are going to do something different. On the blackboard you will find the directions for an antidote potion. Everyone who correctly completes the assignment will receive a ten galleon gift certificate for Honeydukes. Begin.” Tom takes out his cauldron and other potion supplies. He copies the directions down. Slughorn must have mixed his potions up. You don’t use Erumpment Fluid in any antidote, and you certainly don’t mix it with Bundimun Secretion. The potion will explode in your face. Tom rewrites the directions and starts to brews the potion. |
Brew This Potion or Die Trying part 2 77. Author’s Choice: Spearmint Mini Callenge 2. Tangy Tom adds the spearmint to his potion. A cloud of smoke hovers over his cauldron. “Everyone should be finished by now,” Slughorn says. He walks around looking at everyone’s effort. “Avery, have you brewed an antidote or a Polyjuice Potion?” A wave of the wand makes the potion disappear. Slughorn exames Tom’s effort. “Dark orange color, the tangy odor of burnt almond, and just a wiff of pepper… no spearmint. My boy, not only have you brewed the antidote right you have improved it. What is the poison?” “Ascote” “Tom is the only one who realized the directions were wrong.” |
Mudbloods Beware the Heir 97. Dictionary Mini Callenge 3. Second Person Viewpoint Head Boy, Tom Riddle, patrols the kitchen corridors. Everyone is on edge. A mysterious creature roams Hogwarts halls petrifying students. Tom comes across a Hufflepuff first year out after curfew. “What are you doing out?” Tom demands. It’s after curfew.” The frightened boy stops. Tom flicks his wand. The boy’s bag rips and everything falls on the floor. “What is this?” Tom holds up a thick book. “It’s a muggle dictionary sir.” “Are you a muggleborn boy?” “Yes sir.” “Then you’d better get inside your common room. There is a creature hunting down mudbloods.” Tom smiles. His basilisk has found its next victim. |
Omens 6. Divination “Today class, we will be learning hot to read tea leaves,” the Divination professor says. “Drink up your tea, and we can get started.” Tom drinks his tea and exchanges cups with Angelina Merriweather. She swirls the dredge around. “Let’s see… I think I see a giant,” Angelina says. “Giants mean there is or will be a serious obstacle in my future,” Tom reads. “Anything else?” “It looks like a bird.” “Could it be a falcon? It means I will have a persistent enemy.” “Angelina looks at the leaves again. I must have read them wrong. That’s a terrible future.” |
100/100 Drabbles Tom Riddle The Strangest Things Happen Under the Mistletoe 61. Kiss Tom Riddle stands under the Mistletoe stone faced. He tries to push Margaret Adler away from him, but her grip is too strong. Tom grits his teeth and locks his jaw tight. He refuses to allow the filthy mud blood’s tongue in his mouth. Some may call this obvious breach of etiquette a kiss. Tom Riddle considers it an assault on his person. He wishes a fellow Slytherin would perform the Petificus Totalus Charm on this bloody, uncouth mudblood!! Tom would do it himself, but Margaret simply won’t let go. So the Heir of Salazar Slytherin cannot move a muscle. |
Someone Is Watching You 3. Transfiguration Tom Riddle walks into the Transfiguration classroom. He really hates this class. Transfiguration, the subject, is okay- although Tom doesn’t see much use for it in the real world. He hates the teacher who teaches it. Albus Dumbledore, he looks so high and mighty. The kindly, escentric professor, a façade that hides a powerful wizard. The one person who knows the real me. The only professor I cannot charm. How I hate this class! Two hours of Dumbledore watching my every move. What does he think I’m going to do? Transfigure him into another giant squid? An interesting thought. |
My Dream Car 44. Ford Anglia Tom Riddle and Malfoy walk down a busy street. It’s time for school to start. They head for King’s Cross Station to catch the Hogwarts Express. Malfoy crosses the street and is nearly hit by a Ford Anglia. The driver sits on his horn. Angry, Malfoy pulls out his wand. “Filthy muggle! Have you no respect…” Tom stops him before Malfoy hexes the guy. “What kind of contraption is that?” Tom watches the car drive away. He imagines himself behind the wheel. “A Ford Anglia, I dreamed of owning one of them.” Malfoy stares at Tom. He must be a muggle lover. |
A Needle in a Haystack 2. Muggle Studies Tom Riddle returns for his appointment at Hogwarts. He’s not looking forward to seeing his old nemesis again. Tom has come to apply for the DADA position again. The current professor took a vacation in Albania and hasn’t been heard from since. His wand was found in the forest along with his Fedora hat. Foul play is suspected. Tom enters the Room of Requirements. He finds the perfect place to hide Rowena Ravenclaw’s diadem. No one will ever look for it on top of a stack of ancient Muggle Studies textbooks. Satisfied his horcrux is safe, Tom leaves. Dumbledore awaits. |
Merope’s Son 70. Teem My parents and I have just retired to the drawing room for coffee and brandy, when there is a knock at the door. Hasting escorts a young man in. I drop my brandy. It can’t be…. It’s me only twenty years younger. Hasting calls the boy Tom Marvolo Riddle. How dare Merope give him my name! He is like her. I cannot miss the stick he carries in his hand. This Tom is just like her father and brother. The boy teems with anger and rage. There is no reasoning with him. I scream at Tom. You’re not my son! |
Marvolo’s Revenge 69. Slap My mother slaps Tom. He curses and then points that stick at her. Tom yells words I’ve never heard before. The stick emit’s a funny green light. My father laughs. “The boy entertains us with parlor tricks.” My mother sails across the room like a rag doll. Tom kills my father and Hasting next. Then Tom points his stick at me. My reserve crumbles like a crumpet. I plead with… This creature is not my son. I offer him money, anything… Tom yells Avada Kedavra! Bright green light shines again. He laughs at me. Merope’s son… my son… Marvolo’s revenge. |
My Special Friend 32. Common Room Tom Riddle’s Diary, part I Ginny lies on the floor of the Gryffindor Common Room. She writes in her special journal while she watches Harry. Ron, Hermione, and he whisper among themselves. Ginny sighs. Invisible again. How do I make Harry notice me, Tom? He still thinks of me as Ron’s kid sister. Ginny’s ink disappears into the paper, to be replaced by new words. They are written in Tom Riddle’s beautiful script. You are a warm, vivacious person. You need to relax around Harry and be yourself. He can’t help but like you just like I do. Please tell me more about Harry Potter. |
