#54 Dare - The Dare

Sitting around a table with several pairs of eyes upon her, McGonagall took a rather large sigh and hung her head low. "I can do this," she repeated while shaking her head. She finally made her way over to the door, pausing before placing her hand on the knob.

"Go on! It's not the end of the world, Minerva," an older and snickering Sirius said from behind pushing her out into a darkened, empty street. Everyone watched as she took her position.

"I'M FREE!" shouted McGonagall, running in a black bikini, carrying out a wild dare placed by Sirius.

#13 Quidditch - Jordan Lee


McGonagall watched from the stands, Gryffindor vs. Slytherin. Lee Jordan, announcer, stood right beside her.

"And Angelina Johnson has the Quaffle - Angelina, you are my kind of woman Grrrrrr....-"

"JORDAN!" McGonagall screamed as she cut her eyes in Lee's direction.

"And she makes her - What's this? - FOUL ON SLYTH- But Professor? I am telling it like it is!" Lee exclaimed as he rolled his eyes.

"Get em' Angelina! YEAH! That's the way to use the Quaffle!" Lee looked over to find McGonagall with her hands on her hips and a sour look that turned into a flash of a smile.

Ancient Runes #4 - Play On Words

Minerva stood in front of the bathroom mirror, rubbing her face with her hands. The lines were becoming more defined than ever before and now simple spells could not charm the wrinkles from her face. Life as she knew it, turned the creases into years of hard work. "How am I going to turn his head with this face sagging in his direction? Oh Albus, I do hope you see me for who I am and not for my appearance!"

"Turning ancient runes my reputation. Gah! I need some class!" she spoke as she continued to look in the mirror.

#53 Chase - The Chase

Minerva's heart fluttered with every footstep taken while strands of her hair began to whip the sides of her cheeks. Extending her arm, she took hold of what she chased, grabbing a piece of silver cloth. She and her victim fell to the floor, both out of breath. Quickly rising up, she sat on top holding down her prey. "You are not moving until I am finished," she proclaimed as her legs pinned his arms to the floor. "SAY UNCLE!" she yelled as she stared into his blue eyes. "SAY IT! UNCLE!"

"Uncle," Dumbledore said with a rather large sigh.

#58 Hoot - Detention For Two

Minerva stood at the front of class with her hands on her hips. "Mr. Black and Mr. Potter," she scolded with her finger pointing for action. "I have had just about enough of you two for today! You will be here five minutes after school has let out for detention!"

"But Professor, if you are tired of dealing with us today, why not give us detention tomorrow?" Sirius asked as he gave a quick grin to James and then faced the professor.

"Oooo! I don't give a HOOT what you say, Mr. Black! After school....here....today....no...words...Arrgghh!"

#21 Veela - Simple Things In Life

Dumbeldore and McGonagall sat at the table within the Great Hall watching students not only from Hogwarts enter but Beauxbatons and Durmstrang as well. Fleur passed and gave a simple smile and wave as 15 drooling boys followed close behind. McGonagall gave a partial but sappy wave with a look of disgust.

"Amazing that girl is," he slurred with a smile.

McGonagall's eyes cut in his direction as she watched him come out of a coma state. Giving a sly smile, she took hold of his upper arm. "What would you do if I were part Veela?" she whispered.

"Run!"

One Pair of rollerskates = $20

Knee pads that cover only half the knee and really do not look good on top of wizarding robes = $15

Oversized helmet that covers the eyes when using the rollerskates to zoom through the halls Hogwarts during class period = $30

Black leather gloves that are cut off at the bend of the fingers and their only protection is against skinned palms = $50

Looking like a fool trying to rollerskate in front of the entire student body while wearing knee pads, an oversized helmet and black knuckle leather gloves = priceless

#61 Kiss - Broom Closet

Pitch black in a small contained area, McGonagall had no idea who would pull her arm out of socket and lead her into such an unknown area.

"Who are you?" she sternly asked, though not able to see one inch in front of her.

"I can hear you breathing. Tell me or I'll..."

"Shhhh..." said the mysterious voice.

"Well, whoever you are, here," she spoke as she reached into her robs and pulled out a box of Tic-Tacs. "You need one terribly bad."

She poured out a breath mint into her hand and the person took it, ate it and kissed her. Suddenly, the lights came on...

"Albus Dumbledore!"

#12 Charms - Advisor

McGonagall sat with her hands folded on top of her desk. Irritated, she gathered the list of classes in front of her.

"Mr. Black, you do realize that choosing a profession is part of growing up," she stated as she began to twirl her thumbs out of desparation.

Sirius rolled his eyes as he leaned back in his chair for support and comfort.

"Now, I suggestion that you take...." she paused. "Transfiguration, Potions, DADA, Astronomy, Herbology and Charms. Do you have any questions?"

"Yeah! Why do I need Charms? I think am charming enough as it is," he charmingly winkled.

#70 Teem - *shifty*

Tears falling, McGonagall continued to read the book she craddled in her hand.

"Minerva, what is wrong?" Dumbledore worriedly asked.

"It's just....OH!" she sobbed. "I'm so emotional these days. I cannot explain what exactly is going on."

Surprised from her actions, Dumbledore pulled her back to look into her eyes. "I-It c-can be, can it?"

She gave a nod as her tears flowed from her eyes.

"Let me hear you say it," Dumbledore proclaimed.

"'If she must teem, create her child of spleen...'" She could not go any further.

"What?"

"Shakespeare, King Lear, Act 1, Scene 4," she bellowed.

#16 Dragonhide Gloves - Slap

Minerva was in a good mood and needed a snack. She rounded the corner and stopped in front of the staff door. Placing her hand on the knob, she heard someone humming a tune.

Quietly opening the door, Dumbledore stood in front of the refrigerator. His backside was in view with the door opened wide. His feet moved to the beat of his tune as his hips shook with slight excitement.

*SLAP*

Dumbledore flew upwards and hit his head. "Ouch!" he cried. "What was that for?"

"Oh I was just trying out my new pair of Dragonhide Gloves," she said adjusting each finger with a sly smile on her face. "Yup! They work good!"

#33 Classroom - *hem hem*

*hem hem*

Professor McGonagall stopped teaching and took a long, deep breath.

“Yes, Professor Umbridge?” she spoke, slightly irritated.

“I was just going to suggest that you not cover that topic until I have spoken with Cornelius first.”

“Oh! On a first name basis are we?”

“I don’t believe this is the place to speak of that right now.”

“Well, do tell me when a good time will be.”

“Seems as though after class has ended will be the perfect time.”

Professor McGonagall paused. “Good!

She walked over and opened the door. “PEEVES! PEEVES! I NEED MY CANE BACK NOW!”

#17 Cauldron - Witch Way Is Witch

Standing in front of a huge black cauldron, Professor McGonagall stirred the contents with a large wooden spoon in a circular motion. Smoke from the heat filled the air as the fire below glowed a vibrant red-orange.

"I've got you now, my pretties," she spoke as she continued to stir. A witch-like laugh emerged from her lips as she threw her head back.

"Minerva," a voice called silently but she never heard them speak.

"MINERVA!"

"What?" she spoke with irritation.

"You are not in Oz anymore. Give it up!" Dumbledore chuckled.

"Fine," she stormed off in a tantrum.

#19 Wand - Stars At War

Each wand flew into the air, ready for action. Every stroke of each wand completely organized to perfection. Each mind set on their competition. Everyone quietly watching, reacting to every move made.

*SWISH SWISH*

As each opponent stepped slowly around in a circle, the only voices heard were gasps from the sidelines, people watching with their mouths opened wide.

The duel continued onward as each competitor continued to uphold their end of the bargin.

"Take that," Professor McGonagall said as she jabbed her wand towards her contender.

"Hey! Watch it! I thought I was playing Yoda," Sirius complained.

#81 Depression - Pour Me Another Glass

*Hiccup*

"Ohhhhh," Minerva whined as she laid in the floor of the girls bathroom. "Why me?"

*Splash*

"What's going on?" a high pitched voice spoke from behind.

"Oh, we are trying to get the professor out of her depression," Professor Sprout spoke with a bit of anticipation. "She believes she has made a fool of herself tonight."

"Has she?" Moaning Myrtle asked.

Professor Sprout made a funny face and quickly shook her head "yes".

Meanwhile, McGonagall poured herself another glass of Fire Whiskey. 83

"Albus will never go out with me again!" Tears fell from Professor McGonagall's crying eyes.

#89 Past - Remembrance

Memories of the past could not change the way she felt. A lonely tear fell from the corner of her eye, slowly making its way down her cheek. This was something she dared not to think about though reality had to come at sometime or another.

Her hand caressed his cool cheek as she remembered their past. Reflections of joyous times filtered in and out of her memory as though the stories were happening right in front of her.

"Minerva," a voice called from behind, pulling her away from the coffin. "It's time to let him go," Hagrid spoke softly.

#90 Present - The Lonely Desk

Taking her seat in an unfamiliar chair, Minerva quietly sat down and starred at her surroundings. Never before had she sat on this side of the desk unless it was for a short time, taking the place of the person she used to call Headmaster. Dumbledore was gone but this time it was for good.

"Nothing like the present," she quietly spoke to herself, adjusting the papers on her new desk.

*knock knock*

"Come in."

A dark haired boy walked through the door. His hair was a bit untidy with a visible lightening bolt scar on his forehead easily seen.

#72 Vex - Hexing A Vex

McGonagall stood at the front of class with her hands on her hips.

"MR. BLACK! Wha-What have you done?"

Sirius looked up casually standing back as if his innocence was a statement meant to be heard. He twirled a toothpick between his teeth as if it were a blade of grass.

"Now Professor, you said hexing ole Snivellus here was allowed. I just thought he needed a little lesson to be taught." Sirius nudged James with a bark-like laugh.

"I said vexing is NOT allowed. Det-DETENTION...TODAY...ME...Grrrr" Nothing more excaped from her lips but steam.

#31 Dress Robes – Green Velvet

With her fingers extended, she softly caressed the green crushed velvet of her dress robes, flattening the creases left behind. She was more than excited to attend the Yule Ball, especially since her infatuation was to attend also.

She glanced in the mirror one last time before walking over to the door and turning the light out in her room. Her hat sat upright in a straight position, or as upright as she thought it should be. With everything in place, she carefully descended the steps to her corridors and found her way to the entrance of the hallway.

#49 Yule Ball – Champions Of A Different Kind

Walking through the door of the Great Hall, she silently made her way to the Yule Ball after all the Triwizard Champions. She made her way over and stood at Dumbledore’s side, watching as the Champions took to their positions on the dance floor for the first dance of the evening.

“You look beautiful,” Dumbledore whispered as he leaned over to her ear.

“Thank you,” she whispered back.

After a few moments of music, Dumbledore extended his hand in Minerva’s direction. “Would you care to dance?”

“I would love too,” she politely spoke as she slipped her hand into his.

#37 Animagus – Scaredy Cat

Minerva decided to take a stroll around the lake but needed to disguise herself so that no one would recognize her. Tapping her wand to her head, she transformed into a grey stripped tabby cat and galloped down to the edge of the water.

There she paced back and forth waiting on the full moon to make its mirrored image on top of the water. She sat down for a moment captivated by its beauty.

*WOOF WOOF*

*MEOW*

*HISS*

Her claws and nails dug into the black dog until it began to whimper and change into its original form.

#75 Yodel – Yellow Submarine

Being in a good mood meant something to Minerva because it was not an everyday affair. She began to hum a tune to her favorite muggle song, Yellow Submarine, which in turn was by a famous muggle group. She never knew the groups name, but none the less, she knew the song quite well.

“In the town where I was born, lived a man who sailed to sea…” she quietly sang to herself.

Engulfed by the music, she became louder by the second until it finally became a yodel.

“We all live in a Yellow Submarine, Yellow Submarine, Yellow Submarine…”

#42 Portraits - Hats And Wrinkles

McGonagall slipped out of her room a little early deciding she needed a bit of breakfast before begining her day. She closed the door and stopped for a moment, adjusting her hat. She took a couple more steps and again, she stopped to adjust her hat again.

"It will never work," one of the portraits stated as they all watched her. "No matter what you wear, you will always have wrinkles."

"Oh hush up before I burn your frames....All of you," she hissed and continued walking.

"Geez! And I was just being nice. Next time, you get the truth!"

#92 Chocolate - Royal Flush

Professor McGonagall sat at the table with her opponent across the table from her. She glared at the Royal Flush she held in her hand and knew that there was nothing that could stop her from winning this game. Keeping her face as neutral as possible, she gave one last thought for her winning bet.

“I see your glass of milk and raise you two pieces of chocolate,” McGonagall spoke.

*SIGH*

Her opponent looked from his cards to the bet that was just made. “Oh you are good,” Professor Snape stated as he laid his cards down on the table.
