Default SnapeGroupieWannaBe's 100 Drabbles on Buckbeak - pSa

first the rules of the road so I don't forget them:

pSa - Intended for preschool level and younger children between the ages of 1 and 4; free of any coarse language, violence, adult themes and ideas very young children cannot comprehend.

Sa5+ - Content intended for general audience 5 years and older; free of any coarse language, violence, and adult themes. Zero detail on nasty hexes, zero detail on Crucio and zero romance beyond holding hands.

Sa9+ - Some content not suitable for young children; Suitable for more mature childen, 9 years and older, with minor action violence without serious injury but free of any coarse language. Should not contain any adult themes. Wizards can duel and use unforgivables, but don't go into detail about the effects of Crucio or any nasty hexes. Hand-holding, friendly embraces, flirtatious looks and brief kisses on the cheek or pecks on the lips are okay, but nothing beyond that, romantically.

Sa13+ - Contains content not suitable for children; Suitable for teens, 13 years and older, with some violence, and minor suggestive adult themes but free of any coarse language. Wizards can duel and use unforgivables, but don't go into detail about the effects of any nasty hexes like Sectumsempra. Hand-holding, romantic embraces, flirting and brief kisses on the cheek or the lips are okay, but nothing beyond that, romantically.

#93 BUCKBEAK AND THE CHICKEN pSa

When Buckbeak was a young'un, barely out of the egg,
not yet able to fly, a Boy Wizard (who shall remain
nameless since he was but a mere boy) managed to,
dare we say it? Hippogriff-nap Buckbeak, took him home steathily,
in the barn that night. Come morning, Buckbeak was awakened
rudely by this horrendous sound coming from the rooftop. "Cock-a-doodle-doooooo" Twas frightful for young Buckbeak, who
cowered in the corner.... This horrific day would haunt Buckbeak
forever, and be revisited when that dreadful Malfoy, screamed at
Hagrid, "You'll pay for this you and your bloody chicken!"

Default Buckbeak And Herbology pSa

BUCKBEAK AND HERBOLOGY 1. Herbology

Hagrid was caring for Buckbeak and several other Hippogriffs when
he noticed they were all looking odd. "Blimey" said Hagrid,
"They're all losing their hair!" "Whatver could be causing that?"

Upon closer inspection, Hagrid could see they were all infested with creepy crawly Xenopsylla cheopis ( Oriental Rat Fleas) Hagrid tried his usual remedies for such things. After looking through the Teachers Version of the Monster Book of Monsters, he saw a potion he hadn't tried before. "Guess I'd better visit Professor Sprout in Herbology to get some of
those Feverfew Flowers to mix in, I hope she's got some."

Buckbeak and Muggle Studies pSa 2. Muggle Studies

While Professor Snape was preparing lessons for a new class
being offered at Hogwarts for the first time, Muggle Studies,
he noticed an odd sound coming from outside the dungeon,
seemingly from the courtyard. Upon entering the courtyard, he saw
Buckbeak changing colors rapidly, first pink, blue, purple, green.
"What the devil is going on out here?" he cried.
Buckbeak was making an odd mewing sound, and someone's wand
was flashing rapidly. "Experiamus" exclaimed Snape, brandishing his wand as
he disarmed the mysterious figure in the courtyard. With another
wave of his wand, Snape returned Buckbeak to his original hue.

Buckbeak and Transfiguration pSa 3. Transfiguration

Buckbeak had been flying all morning. He returned to Hogwarts having eaten fresh fish, ready to sleep. Suddenly there was
a flash of magical light, and where once had stood
Buckbeak, now stood a Mountain Troll who began destroying everything
withing reach! "Oh no!" cried Colin Creevey, "I got that
spell all wrong!" Then he went running for Professor McGonagall
whom he knew could fix this . As Buckbeak the Troll
destroyed a statue of the Founding Four, McGonagall arrived. With
a quick incantation and swish of her wand, she returned
Buckbeak to his original shape, then turned sternly towards Creevey.

Buckbeak and Homework 100. Homework pSa

Ron, Hermione, and Harry had been writing an essay for
Professor Snape about the perils of mixing Periwinkle with Eye
of Newt when infused with Gingerwort ("3 parcels of parchment
first thing Monday morning.") finally finished, they took a break
outside. Enjoying a cup of tea and some pumpkin pasties
when suddenly Buckbeak flew in landing with a flourish. "Squawk"
said Buckbeak. Then Buckbeak grabbed Ron's books and took off.....
"Hey wait a minute" cried Ron in anguish, "I need
those!" Whereupon Buckbeak whirled and dropped books and papers midair
for Ron to collect, with Herminone and Harry laughed hysterically.

Buckbeak and the Dragonhide Gloves 16. Dragonhide gloves pSa

Severus was returning from a rousing game of Quidditch, noticing
a Gypsy Van parked by the road. The old Gypsy
Witch smiled a toothy grin, "Come in my good sir I
have something to aid you sir, in the controlling of
Hippogriffs". Intriguingly skeptical, Severus entered the Gypsy Van. She produced
an exquisite pair of Dragonhide Gloves with Hippogriffs etched cuffs.
20 minutes of negotiating later, Severus owned them.

Spotting Buckbeak, advancing cautiously, donning the gloves, incanting,he jumped
on Buckbeak, and was suddenly in control -- sort of!
Buckbeak wasn't entirely controlled tho greatly subdued.

"Prospects brighten" thought Severus.

Buckbeak and the Ancient Runes 4. Ancient Runes pSa

Hermione had convinced Harry he wouldn't pass his finals unless he
did something spectacular for testing. He finally resolved to find
and use the first antiquated magical artifact he could find
as both his paper and "lab". Fortunately Buckbeak was available
to carry him to the spot on the map where
Harry hoped to find some ancient runes which would help
him ace his class. Buckbeak flew in low, knowing Harry
could grab them as they flew by. Suddenly Buckbeak was
thrown back by an invisible shield. He careened
into the air "Hmmm..." mused Harry "not as easy as I'd thought."

Buckbeak and The Snowball 95. Snowball

Winter comes earlier every year it seems to all creatures
no matter where they live. For Buckbeak, winter was a
time of carefree carousing with very little responsibility. There were
snowsqualls to fly through joyously, blizzards to prevail upon eagerly.

Flying low over Hogwart's, Buckbeak was interested in the games
the kids were playing, their squeals of laughter always intrigued
him. Several Slitherins were doing something in haste, then suddenly
throwing snowballs in the air to hit Buckbeak. He dogged
them artfully then suddenly rebooted some back at the students.
Problem was, some snowballs hit Professor Snape instead of the students.

Buckbeak and the Whomping Willow

Buckbeak was feeling wild and playful. He gaily soared above
the clouds, or so it appeared to onlookers. At the
last moment he would pull up and soar again. While
he was overhead, he gazed at the world beneath him.
Buckbeak saw a ferret climbing about the base of a
tree, his favorite meal! With a squawk Buckbeak began his
descent, the Ferret began climbing the tree. Buckbeak nearly had
him, suddenly he was broadsided by something hard and thrown
into the air. Chagrined, Buckbeak realized he'd flown within reach
of the Whomping Willow, damages could have been much worse!

Buckbeak's Daring Day 86. Daring

The wind was blowing most foul, lightning was flashing through
the sky. Freezing rain pelted the ground thumping like wild
crazy drums. Gargantuan trees were ripped from the ground by
their roots groaning tossed about like weightless feathers.

Buckbeak and some siblings were clinging to the edge of
the nest, barely able to hold on in the fierce
storm. They were yearlings now, on their own, and this
storm was testing them cruelly. Suddenly, in a fit of
daring, Buckbeak leaped into the sky, braving the severe storm.
Swirling, diving, nearly crashing, careening - the daring paid off.
