Hey everyone, this is my first time attempting the SS 100 and I've picked one of my favorite HP characters- Ginny Weasley. Enjoy the 100 drabbles I come up about her life. --Pinkphoenix

3. Transfiguration- He Likes Who She Is

Ginny Weasley always loved the story of Harry Potter. She used to imagine herself in a wedding dress about to be married to him. But Ginny didn’t like her fiery red hair or her freckles. She felt certain that Harry wouldn’t like her as she was. She vowed solemnly that when she was old enough she would transfigure her “ugly” looks into something more glamorous.

When she was ten and met him for the first time, her old vow came to mind.

The vow wasn’t really needed. Ten years later, he married her for who she was.

28. Timeturner- No Time to Do Everything that Needs to be Done

Lily was crying and the boys were fighting. Between refereeing their fierce battles and tending to Lily, Ginny barely had time to sit and proof-read her article on the latest Quidditch match. Not to mention do the laundry and make supper for the little Terrors and Lily. Get all three of them bathed and in bed before making supper for herself and Harry.

Two hours later, Harry found her eagle-spread lying on their sofa with a wooden spoon in one hand.

“We definitely need to get a Time Turner soon.” She said to him as he came to join her.

78. Author's choice- Lily Luna’s Favorite Bedtime Story

With both her boys away at Hogwarts, Ginny found the house to be very quiet. Too quiet in fact. Lily seemed to agree with her since she was very clingy throughout the day after they had gotten home from King’s Cross.

Ginny knew that Lily missed her brothers when she tucked Lily into bed after her bath and supper, her request for a bedtime story was her favorite bedtime story.

“Alright, love.” Ginny smiled at her daughter and began to speak, “A little red-haired girl met her black-haired Prince Charming one day in September at King’s Cross Station…”

49. Yule Ball- Dancing

As Harry twirled her around the dance floor during the Annul Ministry Christmas ball, Ginny smiled into his eyes. She had definitely come a long way from the first dance she had attended, all those years ago, the Yule Ball during the Triwizard Tournament. Back then, she had not danced with Harry. Instead she had spent the night with Neville while constantly trying to catch Harry’s eye.

Laughing as Harry spun her around for the umpteenth time, Ginny vowed to cherish all the rest of the Christmas dances she would have with Harry for the rest of their lives.

1. Herbology- Silent Companionship

It was her second year and Ginny felt like she had something to prove after her disastrous first year. One day, she stayed back after her Herbology class to tend to some of the plants. She found that gardening really calmed her and helped her think. After a few minutes of working by herself, she felt someone join her. It was Neville Longbottom. He had found her at the student greenhouse one afternoon and ever since then he would join her in gardening together. They never spoke to each other, much preferring the silent companionship that they provided each other.

25. Sorting Hat- Gryffindor Not Slytherin!

Eleven year old Ginny was waiting to put on the famous sorting hat and be sorted. It just has to be Gryffindor, she thought to herself since she was a Weasley.

“Weasley, Ginny!” Professor McGonagall called out.

Ginny slowly walked up to the stool and put on the hat.

“Oh, the last Weasley. Well…this will be easy. GRYF…oh who do we have here? Well, this changes everything! You would definitely do better in SLY…"

WAIT! Ginny yelled in her mind, Gryffindor, please give me Gryffindor!

“Alright if you are sure…although Slytherin would help you to greatness…I’ll put you in GRYFFINDOR!"

34. Parseltongue- Tom Riddle’s Servant

“I don’t want to!” Ginny cried loudly.

You don’t have a choice- I command you to! Said the sneering voice inside of her head.

It gained control of her limbs and moved her closer to the sink where there was a little snake carved into the marble.

To Ginny’s horror, her mouth formed the words, “hisss Open hisss” and the sink slowly detached itself from the wall. When the sink finished moving, there was a man-sized hole where it once stood.

Now, go down the hole, I command it!

Sobbing quietly, Ginny jumped into the hole and the unknown.

8. Potions- Are You Like Your Brother, Ron or Are You Like Your Brother, Percy?

Much that her brothers told her about Hogwarts had turned out to be untrue but what they said about Professor Snape and Potions was true and the reality was terrifying. Eleven year old Ginny shuddered as she walked into the potion class and sat down.

A minute later, Snape walked into the room and called out the names. When he finally got to Ginny’s name, he looked up and sneered at her.

“Ah, the youngest Weasley! Are you going to be like Ron or Percy?” He asked cruelly.

Ginny felt herself cower under his stare wishing that she could disappear.

15. Room- The First Week With The HolyHead Harpies

For the first time in her life, Ginny Weasley was not living at home surrounded by her brothers and parents. Now she was living by herself albeit with fifteen other women. She found herself roomed together with Valmai Morgan who was nice enough.

Even though, Ginny had grown up with one bathroom shared with all seven of her brothers, nothing could not prepare her for the absolutely chaotic mornings. When there was no room at all to even breathe what with every surface in the house being used for someone's morning routine whether it be doing hair or make up.

62. Amortentia- The Love Potion

It was time for Potions. Professor Slughorn seemed to be nice enough if he hadn't gotten overly excited about her Bat-Bogey Hex.

Ginny warily walked into the dungeon classroom, not really wanting to be there, when she smelled it.

The most delicious smell that she had ever smelt-- smelling of the Burrow, broomsticks, and a heady smell that she only associated with Harry.

Ginny could happily spend her life smelling this smell. It was everything that made her happy.

She blushed when Slughorn announced that it was the Love Potion that she was smelling

2. Muggle Studies- Muggles have magic too?!?

Ginny sat in the dark muggle movie house with the popcorn on her lap. She was skeptical about what Harry had told her about this muggle concept-- the cinema. It did sound more like magic to her.

Talking and moving pictures? That is magic as far as she was concerned.

She jumped as the movie began and wondered out loud "Why aren't they talking to us?"

Harry quietly chuckled and leaned in to whisper, "They don't. Muggle cinema doesn't do those things."

"Oh that is disappointing!" She whispered back and pouted. So it was not really magic magic but still a great feat for the muggles to accomplish.

11. History of Magic- His Story Became Theirs

Ginny could recall how when she was little, she would beg her mom to tell her the story of Harry Potter and the fall of Voldemort. It seemed like fantasy to her.

But when Ron became friends with Harry--that fantasy ended and the harsh reality of Harry's life took over.

That is why she and Harry as well as the rest of the family decided to not tell their children all about the gory details until they started Hogwarts.

That day had come.

She and Harry sat down with James and told him about everything.

36. Muggle- Being A Muggle For A Day

Laying in bed with Harry, an idea came to Ginny. She tilted her head to look up at him and said, "What do you think about pretending to be a muggle for a day?"

"Hmm...what?" He said still half asleep.

"I want to do things the muggle way." Ginny repeated herself.

Harry sighed and agreed. He knew that she wouldn't back down when she made up her mind

So Ginny spent the day doing things the muggle way. By the end of the day, she was so exhausted and very grateful that she was a witch.

89. Past- I'm Not Just A Girl

As soon as she was old enough, Ginny realized that she was at a disadvantage being the only girl in the family. Every day, her mum told her brothers to "Watch out for Ginny!"

Ginny hated that with a passion! She didn't want to be treated with kid gloves. Why was it that her brothers--even Ron--got to have all the fun?

Talking to her parents about it was out of the question. So Ginny devised a plan to secretly do whatever her brothers did.

Doing these little rebellions made her feel more like a Weasley.

91. Future- Noone Lives Forever

Ginny opened her eyes to see her sons and daughter sitting at the side of her bed. Tears run down their faces.

"Come now no crying, my darlings." She whispered. Talking loudly hurt too much.

"I'm going to be with your father and the others who went before him. Please don't cry."

It was a tearful Lily who leaned in close and whispered longingly to Ginny, "But we need you here with us, Mummy. Please don't leave us." Her two brothers nodded in agreement.

Ginny smiled at them and closed her eyes one last time.

26. Quill- Jumping Back On The Horse

The book cover shone as the sunlight caught the flicks of silver in the velvet. Surprised, Ginny looked towards Harry.

"Harry..." She breathed out slowly uncertain about his gift.

"Gin, don't worry! I brought this at a muggle bookstore. It isn't magical or anything! I did check." He hastened to reassure her.

"Okay." She replied reluctantly.

If Harry said that it was muggle and therefore non-magical then it was okay. He, of all people, knew what it meant to her.

Ginny picked up a quill and began to write in her new journal.

7. Care of Magical Creatures- When Ginny met Hagrid

For some reason, Ginny never really met Hagrid or his giant pet dog, Fang, in her first year.

But that changed in her second year. In the first week of her second year, Ginny felt like she would suffocate being in the daunting walls of Hogwarts surrounded by the piercing looks from her fellow students.

So she find herself taking daily long walks by Hagrid's hut after her classes had ended.

Hagrid never did judged her at all when she came by. All he did was offer her cauldron cakes and company. He understood.

50. Boggart- Her Worst Fear

Twelve year old Ginny Weasley stood gingerly in line with the rest of her classmates waiting for Professor Lupin to open the cabinet. She didn't like the the idea of a Boggart and it preys on a person's deepest fear. She didn't want to encounter her fear.

Therefore, she was grateful that she had chosen a spot far back in the queue. Maybe she would get lucky and when her turn came-- Professor Lupin would declare the class over.

She wasn't so lucky. Ginny felt light headed as Tom Riddle jeered and taunted her over and over again.

45. Licorice Wand- Untitled #1

Ginny dreamed about going to Hogwarts just like her elder brothers and having her own wand. She begged her mom and dad to allow her to attend Hogwarts, but all they would say was that 'she had to wait until she turned eleven'.

That answer was fast becoming her most hated answer. Why did she have to wait another four WHOLE years until she could attend Hogwarts? It wasn't fair.

The next day, when she woke up she found a licorice wand sitting at her bedside table. There was a note: In the meantime.

90. Present- There is Nothing to Fear but Fear Itself

Sixteen year old Ginny's world became narrowed down to survival. She fought and survive the new and harsh regime at Hogwarts and she paid the most utmost attention to her twin brothers' occasional radio news broadcasts hoping that she wouldn't hear certain names come up when they listed the ones missing or dead.

Sometimes, she felt silly because Harry had chosen to leave her and go on the run with Ron and Hermione but then she remembered that she still loved and cared for him.

She couldn't help but fear for their safety.

13. Quidditch- Her First Match

Ginny Weasley had been playing Quidditch for years and had never felt nervous, Today was different She was terribly nervous because it was her first time playing Chaser for the Holyhead Harpies, her dream come true. Her teammates laughed at her and the others saying that they had better get used to it because it was always like this.

Ginny took a deep breath and stretched trying to get rid of her nerves as she waited. Soon her teammates were called one by one out to the pitch.

Finally, she heard her name being announced loudly, "GINNY WEASLEY!"

4. Ancient Runes- Untitled #2

When Ginny had to choose electives for her third year, her family had their suggestions. In the end, she decided that she would take up Hermione's suggestion of Ancient Runes. It did look interesting and challenging. So Ginny promised herself that she would give it a good try and who knew, she could make a living out of it, have fun travelling the world.

But then she actually encountered how tedious and boring Ancient Runes could be in her first lesson. It most definitely wasn't her cup of tea, but she was stuck with it.

61. Kiss- His Annul Birthday Present

Ever since his seventeenth birthday when she gave him a kiss as a birthday present, it had become their thing. Every July 31st, Ginny would wake him up with a kiss and say that it was his birthday present, despite the fact that she did have more gifts for him.

This July 31st was no different, Ginny softly smiled as she watched the slumbering Harry, looking so innocent. She kissed him and grinned as his eyes fluttered opened, still sleepy.

"Happy Birthday, Harry." She said.

He replied with another kiss, "Thank you for my birthday present, Ginny."

100. Homework- Father Like Son

Ginny couldn't believe that for the sixth time that year, Neville had sent them a letter about James not doing his homework, being all distracted by a Fifth year girl. He was just like his father!.

The thought brought back memories of how she and Harry used to take advantage of their Homework breaks.

Ginny just shook her head and prepared to write a letter to James, warning him of the consequences of not doing his homework.

But as soon as that was done, she was daydreaming about her past with Harry.

21. Veela- Beautiful Just The Way She Is

Having a half Veela for a sister in law definitely made Ginny uber-conscious about herself. She was freckled all over and had carrot colour hair to boot. In addition to being on the petite side of things. She knew that she would never be the stunning bombshell that Fleur was.

But Harry loved her, no one but her. That is what he whispered before he kissed her when they got married and when they danced their first dance as man and wife.

He made her feel like the most beautiful woman in the world.
