It had bugged Neville for years now. It was no secret to anyone that he had not been the most talented wizard in his youth--even now, several years after the end of the Second Wizarding War, his friends brought up the embarrassments of his youth.

“Remember in first year?” Ron crooned, slapping Neville heartily on the back, “When you tried to stop us all from going after the Philosopher’s Stone?” Harry and Ron chuckled at the memory while Hermione and Ginny attempted to hide their grins, and Luna looked on in her typical serene way.

Neville was fed up.

“That reminds me,” He began, eyeing his most intelligent friend, “Petrificus Totalus!” In a flash Neville had drawn his wand and jinxed Hermione, grinning in satisfaction at their looks of disbelief. “I owed you one of those.”
