Sitting on the stool, Cassie braced herself for what was to come. The weight of the hat was barely on her head a second before its voice was speaking aloud, at least to her.
“Hmm…not afraid to stick up for what’s right.”
Her father’s Gryffindor side.
“Loyal to those she cares about.”
Her mother’s caring nature.
“Yet still…not all there is to you, hmmm?”
Cassie sure would like to think so. That she wasn’t just a make up of her parents. Otherwise she definitely wasn’t going to be getting out of her father’s shadow any time soon.
