Topic #25 Sorting Hat
Young Remus stepped forward at the sound of his name. His stomach turned, would the hat know? Climbing onto the stool his hands went clammy. He felt the oversized hat cover the top of his small eleven year old head.
“Possibly Slytherin? You’re hiding something!” The hat hissed.
Looking toward the sea of green he shuttered, “No!”
“But you’re different; you’re not like the rest.”
Remus closed his eyes tight and whispered, “Dumbledore said it would be ok.”
“Did he? He must see potential.”
Remus’ gripped each side of the stool so tightly his knuckles had gone white.
“Griffindor!”
