Dress robes “But mom, these robes are only five sickles more and they’re so much prettier!” Ginny twirled around, trying to prove to her mom that the dress was worth the extra money. It was a strapless floor length dress in a deep green color, accented with black details. “I’m sorry Ginny, but you know we can’t afford to spend and extra on frills at the moment.” Molly was holding up a plain black spaghetti strap dress that fell just a couple of inches short on Ginny. “Funny thing,” Madame Malkin smiled at Ginny. “I think that dress just went on sale.” |
88. Sweet tooth “Mommy! Mommy! I want.” Ginny tugged at Molly’s arm, pointing to a red lollipop sitting on top of the Weasley’s kitchen counter. Molly smiled at her only daughter. “After you’ve eaten dinner. Now go round up your brothers, sweetie.” Ginny toddled off into the living room, where Ron was playing with chess pieces. “Ronny! Eat now.” Ron put down the knight and went into the kitchen. He spied the lollipop on the counter. “Mommy! I want.” Molly looked down only to see her youngest son pointing to the same lollipop Ginny claimed a few minutes before. “Oh dear,” she sighed. |
54. Dare “Dare.” Ginny grinned at Hermione, confident in herself. Hermione grinned and leaved over to whisper in Ginny’s ear. Ginny’s jaw dropped and her face fell dramatically. “But... I can’t do that! Hermione, that’s not fair! You can’t bring other people into this!” She crossed her arms and pouted at the older girl. “Fine then. You owe me 2000 words on the history of Hogwarts.” The next day at breakfast Ginny marched past the Slytherin table, dropping a note into Draco Malfoy’s lap. He opened the note and snickered, looking at her retreating back. It read Yule Ball. 8:00. Great Hall. *For Lillith, because I know she loves D/G too. |
