Drabble #1 (99 to go!) –Sorting Hat I found myself admiring the castle as I walked over to the stool. I wasn’t nervous, and I was probably the only one. I sat down on the stool, and felt it drop down over my eyes. Its wide brim blocked my view of the hall. Either Gryffindor or Ravenclaw. I wasn’t sure which one, but I was confident that I would get into one of the two. I smiled as the Sorting Hat announced my new house. Gryffindor. I carefully took off the hat as I made my way over to my table, and soon got lost in thought. |
Drabble #2-Quill Dumbledore snatched his quill hurriedly and looked for a spare piece of parchment. He opened up a drawer, and rummaged for some. Ah. He found a piece of parchment, and set it down on the wide table. He dipped his quill into the ink, and began writing. Remember my last, Petunia. That should do it. It was short and simple. He sent the fastest owl off with it, and hurriedly rushed off. He had to get Harry out of this. Underage Magic. Not a great way to go, but he still had to help get Harry out of this jam. |
Drabble #3-Kiss Seventeen and never been kissed. He didn't think too much about it. Other things were on his mind. NEWTS. He studied every chance he got. Before breakfast, at breakfast, after breakfast, well, you get the point. He didn't have time to think about girls. But one girl who thought about him. "Hi Albus," Emma said from behind her book. She was in library. But she wasn't studying. Well, not her school work. "Hi," Albus muttered, then read some more. "Oh, put a book down once in a while!" She leaned over and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. |
Drabble #4-Defense Against the Dark Arts Albus walked towards the old, grey door. It seemed impossible to find any Defense Against the Dark Arts teachers, let alone a good one! No one seemed to want the job. Well, who could complain? Nobody had lasted over a year, and one even died. He could only hope it would change with the new Proffesor. So, he gently knocked on the door. "Come in," said a low, gravelly voice. Dumbledore saw a man looking up at him. His greasy hair fell over his eyes. He pushed it aside. "So, are you willing to take the job this coming year?" |
Drabble #5-Chocolate Dumbledore heard someone knock softly. He quickly licked the chocolate off his fingers, and looked at his clock. Oh my! It’s already 8:00! He grabbed the pensieve and placed it on his desk, just as Harry said, "Professor?" "You may come in Harry," he said, and pulled a chair out for him. Harry pushed open the door and walked slowly in. "I'm don't bite! Come and sit down Harry!" So he did. “Now, you probably have hundreds of questions for me, but that's not why your here tonight. Follow me." Dumbledore grabbed Harry's hand and slowly sunk into the pensieve. |
