James Potter never intended it to be like this. It was just his luck that Lily had taken it the wrong way. He had planned for her to rush to his arms and thank him for letting her know her so called ‘best friend‘ was really a dark wizard disguised as a pimply, hook nosed teenager. Instead of thanking him as he imagined, she had shut herself up in her dormitory, refusing to talk to him as well as Snape.

Being lumped in the same category as that git made him queasy.

So now the secret was out. Snape was blooming a psycho maniac and he was still ‘Potter.’ She didn’t even sugar coat the hate in her voice. Why had he decided it would be a good idea to read Snape’s Potions book? He hadn’t expected to find anything, it just gave him and Padfoot a laugh to read the inserts. They hadn’t been prepared for Sectumsepra and they didn't regret trying it on Sniv. Serves him right for making up something that evil.

But now Lily hated his guts more, and maybe she hated Snape’s guts too. Again, he really didn’t like having anything in common with Severus.
