Homework Cedric began to flip the pages of his textbook; slowly lifting his head to meet a warm gaze. His heart raced as he looked into her sparkling eyes. A long ebony plait swung gently and Cho giggled as she leant closer. She herself was unsure if the giggle came from excitement or anticipation, but she did not think too hard on the matter. As the fire crackled loudly in the empty library, she whispered in his ear, “For my champion.” Her voice was soft and it shook. Then, before he knew it, he was leaning towards her, and they kissed. |
deicated to XxHPaddict17xX who suggested this number The hufflepuff common room was crowded and smelt slightly of butter-beer and cauldron cakes (that many suspected had been stolen from the kitchen.) The news had spread like wildfire across Hogwarts; Cedric Diggory had beaten Harry Potter at quiddich. It was a moment to be cherished forever. While many gryffindors sulked, it seemed to almost slip the minds of the celebrating huffies, that one boy was now in the hospital wing. A mass of black and yellow banners filled the common room and one tiny golden ball zoomed excitedly above many heads. There was cheering, whooping, and even a yodel. |
Hand in hand, they sat in madam puddifoot’s, a small teashop decorated with jingling bells and several silver tinted Christmas trees. Cedric ruffled his long hair as Cho talked excitedly; Christmas was nearing and every shop in Hogsmeade was decorated for the occasion. It just so happened they he, Cedric, was sat beneath a small patch of mistletoe. As the conversation came to an unexpected halt, the two found themselves with nothing more to say to each other. As he gazed openly into a pair of large brown eyes, Cedric dreamed dizzily, ‘it really was the perfect day in Hogsmeade.’ |
A small yet handsome boy trembled as he stepped into the great hall. He was overwhelmed by its sheer magnitude. As his name was called, he cautiously moved towards an old hat perched on a three-legged footstool. The boy placed the hat on his head. The hat began to speak and he could hear it inside his head. “Ooh, yes. Mmm.a talented boy oh yes, very loyal.” After several moments ‘um’ing and ‘ah’ing, the hat open at the brim and shouted “Hufflepuff!” a loud applause echoed across the hall at Cedric Diggory proudly took his place at the Hufflepuff table. |
Hey!!!! Nice thread!!!!! I really like it!!! |
Cedric turned round suddenly. A strange chill had just passed him. It was unusually cold for June. Cedric sat closer to the fire and began twirling his wand absentmindedly so that various pieces of parchment now floated around the Hufflepuff common room. This soon attracted the attention of several students so Cedric was forced to find another form of amusement. The rain tapped sharply on the windows and it seemed that everyone’s mood replicated the weather, which could only be described as dismal. Cedric headed for the boys dormitory where he would find a nice pair of cosy Hufflepuff socks. |
