Herbology Greenhouse The dragon dung hit the back of his robes with a splat. Sirius quickly ducked under James' invisibility cloak, as both boys found it hard not to laugh. He deserved it for being in the Herbology greenhouse without permission. Sirius was sure he was there to steal the Venomous Tentacula, they had covered in Herbology today. The boy, Severus Snape, whirled around to see who had thrown the dung but seeing nothing only made him angrier. His wand was drawn as he slow left, then Sirius and James burst into a loud roar of laugher as the door closed behind him. |
Owl -- Unexpected Surprise His face was press against the glass peering in to see the owls. He would be visiting the store later in the week to pick one to take to Hogwarts. The tawny owl sitting on the highest perch drew his attention first. A barn owl poked his head out of his wooden house to stare the boy almost directly in the face. Startled, the boy had jumped back, because he had been caught off guard. "Sirius, follow." ordered his father. Reluctantly he turned to go home but instead his father smiling led him into the store to buy his owl early. |
Muggle Studies--The Debate Sirius looked at his class form for his third year classes. The boy sat dejected while he waited. His mum's howler made it clear he wasn't to take it. He knew she wouldn't approve it. Why, couldn't they leave him alone and let him choose his own classes. She arrived and Sirius handed over the schedule. She raised the brow of her eye and said, "Muggle Studies, this isn't what we discussed." "Yes, ma’am, I know but I want to take it," Sirius replied with conviction. "A fine display of Gryffindor courage, Black, approved," stated Professor McGonagall smiling. |
