Theme #56: Fight Katie and Oliver had never really had a fight before. They annoyed each other and argued playfully, but it was never serious. But when you upset Katie, really upset her, it was a bad idea. “Sebastian? Sebastian Walker!” Oliver’s face was red with anger. “Why does it matter to you, anyway? All you talk about is quidditch, all you care about is winning.” Katie retorted bitingly. “Nothing else matters to you.” “I just don’t understand. Why him? Of all people?” “He’s a lot more sensitive then you ever are!” Katie said, storming off in a huff. Oliver sighed, feeling bad. |
Theme #54: Dare “C’monnnnnnnnnn.” George Weasley moaned. “Yeah, you have to do it now, it’s a dare.” Fred added. Oliver had no more excuses to come up with as he stared across the common room at Katie sitting with her friends. “It’s just like quidditch nerves, but you go out there and think about winning, anyway.” The twins pushed him forward. Oliver sighed, walking the rest of the way over to Katie. It’s just like quidditch, just like quidditch. “Oh, hey Oliver.” She smiled. “What’s up?” Quidditch, quidditch, quidditch. “Go on a date with me?” Just say yes. Katie, taken aback, smiled. “Yes.” |
Theme #99: Newspaper “Oliver.” “No.” “Oliveeeer.” “No.” “Oliverrrr. Please?” He threw the newspaper in his hands at Katie, and missed. “Please?” She stared at him with wide eyes, her face irresistible to him. “Katie?” Oliver said, smiling. “Yes?” She said. “I love you. You’re gorgeous, but my answer is still no.” Katie scowled. “Fiiiiiiine. I’ll go by myself.” “Fine.” Oliver said, picking the newspaper up and beginning to read it again. “My other boyfriends would’ve gone for a walk with me.” Oliver jumped up in a matter of seconds. “Where do you want to go?” Smirk. “Would your other boyfriends get a detention?” |
Theme #66: Pace Oliver paced around Platform Nine and Three Quarters, running his hands through his hair in frustration. He was waiting for Katie to arrive on the Hogwarts express, but he thought he might just die of impatience first. He supposed it was his own fault, really, to have come here half an hour prior to when he knew the train arrived. He hadn’t seen Katie all year, and she had just finished her last ever year. After a painful amount of waiting, the train had arrived and Katie stepped out of the train and ran into Oliver’s arms. “I love you.” |
Theme #42: Portraits Katie was late. Again. She’d probably get a detention. Again. It wasn’t fair, and it wasn’t her fault she was always late. It was, but still! “Watch you don’t trip.” So of course, stopping suddenly to look around for the source of that voice, Katie tripped over, and dropped all of her books. Standing up, a portrait was sniggering. Oliver was walking down the corridor in his free period, thoughts on Quidditch, when he came across Katie. “What are you doing?” He looked at the portrait she was looking at, and he was upside down, with tape covering his mouth. |
