"We need to talk” The words rang in my ears as my parents sat Sarassi and me down. I watched my siblings walk through the doors and come back different…What was happening? Could my parents be getting a..... No she couldn’t say it she didn’t want to think it.

“Say something, Nerida…Sarassi?” I wanted to say something; but when I opened my mouth nothing came out…Hearing the news I had just heard ….I was in shock…My mum was just thirty eight…
Getting over the shock I pulled my mum into a hug and whispered, “Were gonna love you through it.”

There's a Place For Us



You reach up and fix your tiara as you feel it slipping off your face...You quickly give a look as you turn the corner, they are gaining on you...They want to be the Kings and Queens...Your fasten your pace as you hear your sister giggling....It means they are close. You reach the front door of the house and do a victory dance!!! You won Kings and Queens! Every time she had lost they had gotten the crown but it was hers and would be forever!!! "Don't worry guys, its written in the stars, I am Queen."

Once Upon A Dream



Nerida took hold of James hand…Why must their parents embarrass them? She gave a glare before the music started she gave a big grin to the other six year old. He better not step on her toes! What kind of people made little six year olds dance for treats on Halloween!? They twirled around the house dressed in their adorable Aurora and Phillip costumes. Hearing the giggling in the background James and Nerida gave both of their parents a glare.

“Say it!!! Say it!!!” their mums chimed in after the dance finished.

“Once...Upon…A…Dream.” the two six year olds said together.

One Step At a Time
It was easy all she had to do was finish with the packing and then she would be off. She would be ending a chapter in her life and starting a new one.

Nerida took a breath as she added the last things into her trunk. Turning she took a look at the pictures there she was her first train ride to Hogwarts and now look at her, just graduated from Hogwarts and now it was time to start a new beginning at the Wizarding University.

Now all she needed to do was take it one step at a time.

Winter Wonderland

Nerida rubbed her hands together, it was chilly out tonight. The snow covered the Earth in a blanket of ice. It was perfect, a white Christmas. She pulled her gloves up and started walking in the winter wonderland. The snowman she had built the day before stood there staring at her as she walked.

She stopped and laid down in the snow closing her eyes as the snowflakes fell. It was nice, such a beautiful night, the bells from the stores opening, the lights glistening, made the world seem perfect as if the world was full of cheer, everyone happy.

Keep On Dancing

"NO! NO! NO! Wrong Nerida! Wrong! First Position first!" Mrs. Kschessinska yelled at Nerida. Nerida stopped after only a couple seconds of the song.

"I'm sorry Mrs. Kschessinska its a hard pirouette."

"No excuses! You vant to be a great dancer, correct?"

"Yes Mrs. Kschessnska."

"Then do it again!"

Nerida restarted this time made sure first position first. Then the next steps and now it was time for the pirouette, but instead of it coming out good the leap she did not land on her feet she landed on her face.

"Keep on dancing!! Practice makes perfect! Now try again!"

Here's To Never Growing Up

It was a time to celebrate, they had just graduated Hogwarts. Their time was over and now it was time for some celebrating. She and her family celebrated and then it was time for the real celebrating to began. Nerida, Sarassi and some other girls in her year decided to go out and celebrate. A fun night full of memories and singing here's to never growing up. They finally said goodbye to Hogwarts and hello to Wizarding University.

The night ended and the girls all decided each year they would get together and have a night of never growing up.

Mama's Broken Heart


'Who did he think he was?? Breaking up with her like that! A letter, really! Was he that much of a chicken?

Its just a break up her sister kept on saying, but not to her it wasn't, why all of a sudden did he decide it was over? And who gave him the authority to end it like he did, if there was anyone that was going to be breaking up with anyone it would be her. '

Nerida threw herself onto her bed her thoughts getting a hold of her she took a breath, what would her mum say....

According to You

He was back again, he had broken up with her, what happened to 'Sorry, I've met someone.' Nerida stood there looking down at him. Of course he would come back as soon as she found someone else...As soon as she was happy. "According to you, I can't do anything right! Why are you back?" she said the words sharp and hurtful.

With a shocked look on his face he didn't say anything. Nerida grabbed the door ready to slam it in his face, "According to him I'm perfect.", with this she closed the door with a feeling of victory.

Don't Stop Believing

Come on! Where was it!!! Her lucky charm always helped her on exam days!! She needed it! This was NEWTS!!

She flipped over her sheets once again. The little turtle that said 'Don't Stop Believing', how could she have lost it. She slumped onto the floor, she could not take the exam if she didn't have her good luck charm! Who came up with these stupid good luck charms, if she couldn't find it how was it lucky!!!

Nerida looked underneath the bed, nope. Under the nightstand, nope. Suddenly she remembered it was in her robes. Now time for NEWTS!

Do You Want To Build A Snowman?


Five year old Nerida bounced onto her sister's bed, "ITS SNOWING!!!!!!" No response... How could she be asleep at a time like this!!!

She poked and prodded Sarassi until she got pushed off the bed. She pouted before getting back up and pulling up her sister's eye and said, "Do you want to build a snowman?" A couple giggles later both girls were up and out of bed in their winter clothes and had disappeared into the snowy world.

A snowman they named Frosty was dressed up with a hat, scarf, three buttons, two stick arms, and a carrot nose.

Be A Friend

Little Nerida sat on the swing in the muggle park, wanting to go home. Muggles sure were weird she didn't even understand why she had to come to the park, anyways! Just as she was about to go complain to her mum once again she looked over at the little girl going down the slide. That looked fun...

Nerida stood maybe she could be the muggle's friend, even if they were so very different!! She stood taking a breath to give her some strength, she slowly walked over to the girl and said "Hi, I'm Nerida. Want to be friends?"

I'll Try

Nerida closed her eyes she just couldn't do it! She was scared. Even if the eleven year old didn't want to admit it. She was terrified of flying.

Her brothers had tried teaching her and she had some what got it but this time it was different she was in flying class, if she messed it up this time everyone would see, she would embarrass herself in front of her entire class!

She took a breath watching her classmates push themselves from the ground. She put her hands onto the broom and took a shaky breath and whispered, "I'll try."

A Thousand Years

Nerida took a breath, what was he doing? She had known something might happen but now? She took another breath as she saw him get up and walk around the table. He had chosen the family reunion to propose. She looked around seeing her mum and her dad and finally she looked towards James and smiled.

He was right in front of her now and he reached into his pocket, "Nerida Faye Eventide, will you do me the honor of becoming my wife, Mrs. James Rivers?"

A single word escaped Nerida's lips as she wrapped her hands around James , "Yes!"

Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo

Wand time!! Nerida had been waiting for this since she saw her brothers get one. It was the coolest thing she had seen. Instead of her parents bringing her, her brother Hermes had taken her. Which was a plus because parents were bores and Hermes was awesome.

What was that doing!!!? "Don't fret, Ner its just measuring you" Hearing the comforting voice from her brother she relaxed but that measuring thing better not tickle her.

"Hello there, first wand?" Nerida gave a nod and took the wand he handed her. She breathed and said "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo!" while she waved the wand.

Time Turner

If only she could have taken those words back. Had not said those words, those three simple words. It ruined everything. She looked once again at her sister's retreating figure. She hadn't meant it she was just mad and confused.. Would she ever speak to her again?

She said she wouldn't but maybe just maybe if she could catch up with her she could apologize and everything would be okay. Forgiven. And maybe they would be sisters once again.

But Sarassi was gone.

She replayed the past and wished for a time turner to stop her from saying those words.

Louder

Her first muggle concert!! Nerida had gotten all dressed up as best as she could in her friend's rock and roll clothes. Her mum would never approve but it was her monthly check up and her parents were at the hospital. She grabbed her purse and jumped in Jane's car.

It would be a night to remember.

She gave another fist pump, this time she did it right. Jumping up and down she gave another yell. All the while thinking how muggles were crazy.

Her friend put her arms around her and screamed, "Why don't you scream a little louder!!"

On Top Of The World

Nerida outstretched her arms once more she loved being with her dad. She put her hands around him and repeated the words that had been said for the last hour, do it again. And of course her dad threw her in the air again. It was rare moments like this where Nerida felt like she was on the top of the world. It was only for a second or two but she felt like she could reach up and touch the sky.

Her dad caught her before she fell, it was time to stop being on top and go home.

Back To December

Nerida kicked her foot into the ground once more, hating having to come back here. The last time she saw him, she left him there. No response, nothing.

The blonde arrived in front of his house, she was going to do it. She was going to talk to him! An apology, he at least deserved that.

She looked back at the door, she hadn't knocked yet. What would she say, that she was sorry for that night? Could it be that easy? Maybe she shouldn't have come back in December, maybe it would have been easier in another month…

Why Ya Wanna

Out of all the places, why was he here? Nerida hadn't seen him since she left his parent's house. There he was looking as good as ever, with his perfect hair and his perfect face. She looked at him for what seemed like forever trying to convince herself that she didn't want him anymore. Of course, these reasons were immediately dropped once those amazing blue eyes met her own. Why did he have to do this? It had been a year, she had moved on..Out of all the places he had to come in here bringing up unresolved feelings...
