Homework Drabble #14- Hogwarts, A History “I’m bored,” Ron announced, slouching down in his armchair. The Trio was sitting in the Common Room. Hermione was doing her homework while Ron and Harry sat there doing nothing.
“I have just the thing for you!” Hermione exclaimed, jumping out of her seat. She disappeared up the girls’ staircase and when she came down she was carrying two large books.
“One for you,” she said, handing one to Harry. “And one for you.” She handed the other to Ron.
He glanced down at the title Hogwarts, A History, and then looked back up to Harry. “Chess?”
“Chess.”

Drabble #99- Newspaper
“That despicable woman,” Hermione spat out, looking disgustedly at the morning’s issue of the Daily Prophet.
“Hermione, why are you still reading that rubbish?” Harry asked, gesturing to the newspaper.
“I happen to like to know what’s going on in the world,” she answered pragmatically. She made an angry noise again as her eyes scanned an article.
“Why read about it when the Slytherin’s will probably tell us anyway?” Ron asked grinning and reaching for some hash browns.
“That’s exactly the point, Ron,” Hermione told him exasperatedly. “I’d rather find out on my own, thank you.”
Ron shrugged. “Suit yourself.”

Drabble #61- Kiss
Ron turned away disgustedly. "Don't they ever quit?" he asked, going back to his essay.
Hermione looked over his shoulder to where Harry and Ginny were snuggled up on a couch. Harry snuck in a quick kiss and Ginny smiled back at him. “Oh hush,” she said. “When have you ever seen Harry this happy?”
Ron glanced back to them. Truthfully, he had never seen either of the two look more content. Still… “Well, they don’t have to be so out in the open like this,” he muttered. Harry was his best friend but Ginny was still his little sister.

Drabble #1-Herbology
“When are we ever going to need this?” Ron asked, looking thoroughly bored.
The Trio was in Herbology, repotting baby Devil’s Snare plants for Professor Sprout. The plants kept twisting around their arms, too comfortable in their pots to be uprooted. Hermione looked affronted. “Ron, this is very important work we’re doing.”
Harry swatted away one green tentacle before looking up at him. “Yeah Ron, think about it. One day you could come across one of these, fully grown. Then what are you going to do?” he joked.
Ron gave this a thought before smirking. “I’ll ask Hermione, of course.”

Drabble #34- Parseltongue
The halls were cluttered with students as Harry, Ron, and Hermione made their way towards the Great Hall. Many stared openly at Harry as he passed them, and Ron heard the word “Parseltongue” more then once. He walked beside his best friend, glaring darkly at them.
“Just ignore them, Harry,” Hermione advised, clutching her books tightly.
“They’re idiots. The whole lot of them,” Ron said loudly, causing people to direct some nasty looks at him.
Harry shot him a grateful look as they continued down the corridor. It was good to know your friends had your back. | |

Drabble #21- Veela
She made Hermione uncomfortable. With her beautiful long hair and flawless features, Hermione felt as ungraceful as a hippogriff sitting across the dinner table from her. Plus, with the way Ron was openly staring at her, it made her feel even more inadequate.
“Oh eet will be so pretty,” Fleur gushed about the wedding. “I can ‘ardly wait a year.”
Hermione rolled her eyes. She heard a restless shuffle next to her and glanced at Harry. Subtlety, he brought his pointer finger to his temple and pulled the trigger on his mock Muggle gun. Everyone turned to her when she snorted loudly.
Yeah, I know she's only like a quarter veela but whatever. XD | |
