16 ~Dragonhide Gloves "Mum! If I am going to be a good Quidditch captain, I need the right equipment!" The young boy protested as his mother tried to get away with second hand gear. She sighed in defeat.
"Oh, Oliver, I'm not made of money, you know!" The woman paused and observed her son's puppy dog eyes. Fifteen, and it still worked! Tutting, she said, "get the gloves, then! But don't go asking me for a Nimbus 2001!"
Grinning, the fifteen-year-old skipped to the Dragonhide Gloves and plopped them on the counter.
Oh, yes. Oliver Wood would definitely lead Gryffindor to victory with these. j | |

93 ~ Chicken "Out of the way, Longbottom!" Sneered Draco Malfoy, as he shoved past the twelve year old Neville.
After a few seconds of regaining balance, Neville decided it was time to stick up for himself! "Leave me alone, M-Malfoy!" Ohmygosh! He should not have done that!
The blonde Slytherin turned round and stared at Neville deeply in the eyes. It could have been enough to turn him into stone. "Oh yeah? Make me." It was no use, Neville cowered around, and responded with a slight mumble of fear.
"Honestly, what ever happened to Gryffindors being brave?" Draco laughed, then strode away.

89. Past Rubeus Hagrid was a good man. The much loved Gamekeeper. However, as Harry, Ron and Hermione were on one of their frequent visits to the half-giant, a curious question entered Hermione's mind.
"Hagrid... why don't you have a wand?" Harry himself had seen Hagrid using his umbrella for magical purposes, so he must be a wizard!
"Oh, it got destroyed, din't it. I were expelled, ya see. Long story."
"Expelled?! But why?"
"Never you mind!" Hagrid stood up to make himself a cup of tea. That was definitely a part of his past that he did not want to re-explore.

57 ~ Gape The sun was blazing over the lake, and the majority of students were out in their shorts and skirts, lapping up the rare sunshine. It was no different for best friends, Lavender Brown and Parvati Patil.
"Lav? Lav? ....Lav?" It took a few attempts, but Lavender eventually snapped out of her trance. "What are you gaping at?" Parvati quizzed.
Lavender didn't even need to say anything. She looked over to a ginger haired boy sitting across the grass, but as soon as her eyes laid on him again, back into that daze, she became.
Parvati sighed and rolled her eyes.

Molly Weasley heard the thump from the top floor of the Burrow, which only meant one thing. "FRED. GEORGE. WHAT ARE YOU DOING NOW?" She bellowed up the stairs, but the silence meant she had to investigate herself.
Busting open the door, her eyes widened when her son, Fred, was dangling by his foot in midair, whilst George looked as if he had seen a ghost.
"Boys, what have I said about you dueling without an adult present?!"
"M-mummy, get me down." Fred the second year babbled. Molly muttered unpronounceable words but proceeded to help him down.

34 ~ Parseltongue She should not be doing this. Ginny Weasley knew that, but after months of Tom Riddle's diary being in her possession, anything he said was enough to sway her. It was as if she was enchanted.
Today was the day where it was all to end. Ginny was aware that her death awaited below the chamber, as well as Harry's. So why was she even considering this?
Because Tom said so. Simple as that.
Standing in Moaning Myrtle's bathroom, Ginny uttered the words that Tom told her to use, and with a loud 'crack', it opened.
