The Many Experiences of Fred and George Weasley

Fred sat down next to George, having danced for about ten minutes.
“Enjoying the Yule Ball then?” asked George, careful not to spill any pumpkin juice on his dress robes. Fred nodded.
“Malfoy tried to trip Angelina, so I had to reward him properly.” Fred said with a smile. George cocked his head, looking past his twin. Sure enough, Malfoy was on the ground with his shoe laces tied together and what was his bowtie before attached to his socks.
“Where’d you pick up that one?” asked George.
“Watching Mum sew for a while gives you some inspiration.” Fred admitted.

28. Timeturner
The twins put their forks down after just finishing the last of birthday cake.
“Don’t trip Ron!” warned Fred sarcastically, watching his brother trip on a chair and land on the kitchen floor with a loud crash.
“Let’s see that again?” said George, flicking the Timeturner in his hand.
There was a slight spinning feeling in the room, and then the cake was back in front of the twins. George and Fred exchanged a glace before pushing the chair farther into the path of a flustered Ron.
“I could get used to this.” said Fred, starting again on his cake.

97. Dictionary
“What are you doing?” asked Angelina, observing a rather large dictionary of potions balanced atop of Fred’s head.
“It’s my new way of taking in knowledge.” he replied, as George put two dictionaries on his ginger head.
“This method works much better,” commented George, leaning slightly to keep the bulky weight centered. “Though they do give you a similar headache as reading them.”
Snape stopped short behind the twins as George lost control of his dictionaries. His fell into Fred’s, the result being all three dictionaries toppling into the unfortunate Potions Master behind. The result of the crash was detention.

11. History of Magic
“I have an idea,” said George, still staring at the ceiling. History of Magic was the dullest class of the day.
“What’s that?” asked Fred, half asleep on his desk.
George twirled his wand once more before pointing it at Fred, who looked up in time to get a face full of cool water.
Sputtering, Fred looked up at Professor Binns, who wasn’t paying any attention to his class.
Grinning, Fred got up on the desk, wand in hand, and sent a jet of water back at his brother, before turning on his other friends. The water fight had begun.

“This one was your fault, you know.” George informed Fred, who was sitting near him in their first session of three-hour long detentions.
“I didn’t break that first year’s leg. You were the one who suggested putting ice around Hogwarts as a senseless joke.” argued Fred, uncommonly angry at himself and his brother.
“I said on the floor, not on the stairs!” George shot back, his voice rising rapidly. “That was rather degraded and…”
“Watch it George.” Fred interrupted sharply, his voice quiet but coated with as much ice as the stairs that the girl had fallen down had been. | |

42. Portraits
It was outstandingly dark. The two first years were having trouble finding space for a duel.
“Maybe we should go back,” one of the students suggested, looking back the way they had come.
Before the other could respond, he sensed unfamiliar movement.
“An excellent idea!” said George Weasley, as he and Fred jumped down from an empty frame in front of the two students, who screamed in fright.
“Paintings need their sleep as well. Stop the racket!” said Fred.
“The portraits, they’re alive!” exclaimed the first years, before turning and running as fast as they could from “the walking portraits”.

93. Chicken
“I hope you two fed the chickens before we left, like your mother said.” Mr. Weasley said to the twins, sitting down under a tree. The Weasleys had gotten away from the Quidditch World Cup crowd for a quiet picnic.
Or so they thought.
“Of course, we always listen.” George replied, looking as innocent as he could manage.
Ginny screamed as about seven chickens hopped and flew out of the picnic basket and completely knocked Ron off his feet by the force of their exit.
“Whether we comply is usually the argument.” Fred said, as he got up to run.
