Homework “You already know my answer, so why even ask?” Lysander asked his brother, not looking up from the scroll he was writing on. “Pleaseeee?” “No, Lorcan. I’m not going to do your homework for you.” He said, shaking his head. “Sometimes I wonder how you’re in Ravenclaw.” Lysander muttered. “Because I’m awesome.” Lorcan stated simply. “Which is why brother, you should do my homework.” “You know that I won’t.” “Fine, I’ll do it myself.” Lorcan said. “That would be fine, except that sentence usually means you’ll find someone else to do it for you.” Lysander pointed out. “And?” Lorcan asked. |

Snowball Lorcan and Fred Weasley were hiding behind a tree, ready to ambush Lysander with snowballs when he passed. “Ready?” Lorcan whispered. “Go.” Before Lysander could react, snowballs were hurled at him. “I was expecting something like this.” He said, though his twin was still hiding, Lysander knew it was Lorcan. “There’s just one thing you didn’t think of.” He twirled his wand around in his hand. “And what would that be?” Lorcan asked standing up with Fred, feeling victorious. “Magic,” Lysander said with a smile, flicking his wand and hurtling snowballs in their direction, knocking them both to the ground. |
18. Whomping Willow “It’s a brilliant exciting plan, don’t you think?” Lorcan asked his twin excitedly. “No, I really don’t.” Lysander said, with a look of disbelief. “I don’t believe that anything involving going near the whomping willow can be anything good.” How this wasn’t the most obvious thing in the world, was just unfathomable to him. Lorcan was smart, when he wanted to be, but when Lorcan decided to do something, all logic just disappeared. “Why do you always have to ruin my fun?” “Because somebody has to stop you from ending up in the hospital wing, and landing yourself in detentions.” |

History of Magic “History of Magic is actually really interesting,” Lysander said. “Did you hear what he was saying about goblin rebellions today?” Lorcan pretended to snore. “Oh, I’m sorry, I fell asleep in the middle of your sentence I was so bored.” Lysander sighed. “Are you gonna let me help you, or not?” “I don’t see why you can’t just for me, since you seem to love goblins so much. Besides, if the head of Ravenclaw insists you be my study partner, can’t it at least not be the most boring subject taught by the most boring teacher ever?” |
59. Ignore Lysander tried his best to ignore Lorcan. He had made the mistake of letting it slip that he had a crush on Roxanne Weasley, and even though Lorcan promised he wouldn’t tell anyone, he wouldn’t stop the relentless teasing. “Lysander and Roxanne up a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G –” “Seriously Lorcan, if you don’t shut up, I’m going to hex you so much you won’t want to open your mouth ever again.” “You wouldn’t, you’ll get in trouble.” “You saw what I did to that sixth year Slytherin, do you really want to risk it?” Lorcan laughed, but he looked very apprehensive. |
