100 Drabbles For the Fierce Fashionista - Sa13+ Hello, I'll be writing about my character Cassie Storm's life post Hogwarts. Happy Reading! Drabbles Disclaimer: All Harry Potter characters and universe belong to J.K. Rowling 28. TimeTurner Cassie checked her gold watch as she hurried through the busy London streets. The pain of working two jobs was that you never had enough time to leave one and get to the other with enough time to get yourself together. Lucky for her she did the photo-shoot first so she didn’t have to worry about getting her make up now. She cursed under her breath as her stocking snagged in a rose bush. Why did bad things happen when you’re in a hurry? She said as she got to the office. “Sometimes I wish I had a time turner.” |
Hakuna Matata 68: Roar Cassie giggled as Jessa’s oversized dog jumped unto her lap while she was in the couch and licked her face. He always got so cuddly after watching the Lion King but that wasn’t the best part. For whatever reason, the dog always thought he was a lion for about ten minutes after the movie. It was always so cute when he tried to pounce. Still, that wasn’t what she was waiting for. The dark haired ex-hufflepuff started counting down from ten, when right on the Mark the dog let out a funny sounding bark whine. Silly pooch, dogs don’t roar. |
39. Duel Cassie screamed and scrambled over the side of her bed as Brynn and Jessa both shot pink spells at her. Her two best friends sported identical mischievous grins on their faces as they chased the dark haired girl around the room. It was hard to believe that the three of them were long out of Hogwarts and well settled into very adult jobs. “Get her Brynn!” Jessa ordered as she came around the left side of the bed. Brynn and Jessa both cornered her and she screamed screamed loudly.” I am never playing tickle duel with you two ever again. |
82.Careful “Okay Okay, everybody get into your places.” Cassie’s hands were moving like a choir director’s as she tried to get everyone positioned and everyone organized for Brynn’s surprise birthday party. There was just something about planning events that got the young woman going. She was in her element and bossing people around with was her speciality, especially when she had an excuse. Cassie left the group of people huddled in the living room to see what Jessa was up to in the kitchen. Gasp gasped and covered her mouth then slowly walked over to Jessa. “Be careful with that cake.” |
3. Transfiguration Cassie couldn’t believe her rotten luck. She really didn’t expect t show up to a party wearing the same dress as someone else. She swore under breath as she looked herself in the bathroom. If anyone else needed to have a pee, they would unfortunately have to wait until she sorted out her crisis. See this was the very reason she bought really expensive pieces or got her stuff custom made, to avoid situations like this. She sighed as she pulled out her wand. This shouldn’t be too hard right? She just had to remember that transfiguration spell. Oh oh. |
4. Ancient Runes “Do you remember who our Ancient Runes Professor was?” Cassie asked pushing the glasses up on her nose. That position was cursed anyways. More cursed than the well-known DADA position had been and runes was supposed to be a safe subject. I just don’t remember ever remotely feeling excited about going to that class, even though I find Runes more than a little interesting. Cassie shrugged her shoulders. “This bites though because I need to translate this rune in this puzzle and I can’t remember a damn thing." The dark haired woman put the paper down and frowned. “Forget it.” |
17. Cauldron Cassie sat crossed legged on the floor of her bathroom with the cauldron directly in front of her. Inside was a gooey golden brown liquid that was set to simmer for a few more minutes. The brunette was buying hair products for such a long time now that she was an expert at making her own home made stuff, which usually turned out very good mind you. She was very specific about the colour she wanted on her hair and for her, the shop bought products were never the exact things that she wanted and Cassie Storm did not settle. |
8.Potion Cassie had the duvet pulled up to her nose, as both Jessa and Brynn came up to her on both sides of her bed. She knew what was coming and she would fight it with all the strength left in her flu ravaged body. "Come on Cassie, I know it's foul but you're not getting the rest of us sick. Take the bloody potion." Jessa stated as she plopped down on the bed. Brynn did the same and put her face close to her friend's. "Merlin you're breaking out!" Cassie exclaimed loudly and Jessa shoved the potion into her mouth. |
34. Parseltongue "Have you ever wondered what it's like Brynn?" Cassie closed her eyes and allowed the wind to caress her face, and the grass to tickle her cheeks. She was ten years old and so much was still a ministry to her. "Being able to speak Parsletongue...wouldn't it be cool to talk to snakes?" Ten year old Brynn chuckled and closed her eyes as well. "Yeah I suppose..but I think it would be cooler to read people's minds." Cassie went quiet. "Cass? Hello!" Twenty-six year old Brynn was waving her hand in front of her. "It's time to go." |
77. Cheerful "I hate seeing you like this Cassie. Your eyes are sad." Thumbs wiped the tears from under both the young woman's eyes as she sniffled a little and leaned into the soft hands of her father. Cassie forced a smile and blinked the tears back. "I'm fine daddy, I'm quite cheerful." Blizzard frowned and moved his thumb just a little to cup the cheeks of his beautiful daughter. She was his first and for a while his only daughter and most prized achievement. "Don't lie to your father Dew Drop. Are you sad?" Cassie met his eyes and nodded slowly. |
74. X-Tinguish The screaming from backstage was loud enough to send the part time wedding planner flying to hair and make up. One of the model's hair had caught fire and everyone was hopping around screaming. Really though, this was why she preferred having wizarding clients, because there would be wands and no shortage of water spells being shot at the girl's head. Lucky for the young model the emergency sprinklers went off in time to x-tinguish her hair before the fire did anymore damage. The good thing was that her face was still beautiful, even though she would need a haircut. |
98.Pajamas "Ugh! Brynn you talk to her, I really can't right now." Cassie stormed from the living room area and for good measure she slammed the door behind her. Really today of all days Jessa was in one of those I just want to lay in bed all day and cuddle with her dog mood, and Cassie was not having it. They were having guests over and Cassie was hoping Jessa would be a bit more co-operative. Granted maybe she was right, maybe they wouldn't care what Jessa was wearing, but she cared. Brynn frowned. "Jessa change out of your pajamas. |
94. Allergic "Zese are for you." Cassie took the daises from Noel, smiled at him then kissed his cheek. Was he a real man? Sometimes she had to wonder. He let her pop over to France whenever she was feeling stifled at home with little to no warning and when she did show up, he was the sweetest most welcoming person ever. And to think she was about to give up on the male species. She put the flowers in a jar with water then smelled them. "Achoo! Achoo!" She sniffled and wiped her nose. "I think I'm allergic to these flowers." |
81. Depression There were days when she was happy, when she didn't dwell on her past hurt and heart aches, and then she had days like today when the weight of the world would come crashing down on her and she wanted nothing more than to lay in bed and cry. Cassie knew better than to let the depression get the better of her though. So, on days like today, the model would sit in front of her vanity and think of everything that made her beautiful and unique and she'd smile even if she didn't want to, because she made it. |
85. Snappish "I said I wasn't bloody ready for that shot!" Cassie walked off the set and shoved the camera away from her. The day was hot, the set was hot and she was so angry, without any real reason. She just wanted out of today, but money was on the line, so here she was in a place she didn't want to be, and co-workers, she didn't want to be around. She slammed the door to the dressing room and sat, crying, until their was a knock on her door. Gabriel poked his head in. "Well Cass, you're a bit snappish." |
46. Dungeon The photo shoot would be in the dank, dark dungeon of a chapel in South of France. Cassie shuddered as she trailed the rest of the crew and the male model she would be working with into the unknown. This place was creepy. Dungeons at Hogwarts certainly did not look like this. This place reminded her of a muggle horror movie, which caused her to quietly curse herself for watching that garbage in the first place. "Eeeeeek!" She clutched unto the back of the model who was walking in front of her." I don't want to be at the back." |
75.Yodel Cassie covered her ears and groaned as she turned over to check the clock on the beside table. Out of all the models, they were on location with, why on earth did she get stuck with this one? It was 3am, in the morning and she had an early shoot. She groaned audibly so maybe her room mate would get the hint and shut up. As it was, her roommate was just warming up her vocal chords, in preparation to sing. This was clearly not her night. She turned over and glared."Anna do you have to yodel right now?" |
13.Quidditch Cassie stared in the mirror at her outfit. She had changed so many times, seemingly just never satisfied by what she was wearing. Not that what she was wearing was all that important because she was going to see a quidditch game. One did not need to get dressed up for quidditch. But here she was, making herself pretty for a crowd she would blend in with. Here she was keeping her friends waiting while they pounded on the door. Finally satisfied, in a fitted blue T-shirt, shorts and toms, she left to meet with her impatiently waiting friends. "Finally." |
1.Herbology Cassie hummed as she watered her little daisy. Just a few years ago she was incapable of keeping anything alive and now, she had a blooming daisy. This of course wasn't the first plant that she had successfully kept alive. She still had a few complimenting carnations, that didn't do much complimenting anymore, considering they were sent to her so long ago but at least they still looked good. Cassie was never very good at Herbology..or well..keeping things alive but she was doing well now... She smiled at her plant and put the watering can down. Job done. |
16. Dragon Hide Gloves "Cassie hurry up, I actually don't want to be late for Herbology." Cassie continued her l stroll behind Marilyn while fixing her hair and applying her nude lipgloss. The professors didn't flip out as much about lip gloss if it wasn't super coloured, so she figured it would be okay. Up until this day Cassie had no idea why she hadn't dropped herbology, she hated the smell of dragon dung. "Take these before you start whining about dragon dung on your hands." Mar said, tossing her the dragon hide gloves." Cassie smiled at the memory as she packed the gloves away. |
31. Dress Robes Donating and packing away her Hogwarts stuff really was stirring up a lot of memories for the ex-HufflePuff. She twirled the bow tie between her fingers and was once again caught up in her memories. "Eww Carter, what are you doing? Please put that down. Striped dress robes are so last season. if you want to impress the girls, black is always a classic." She tossed the red bow tie at him. "And that will mix a little house pride with it." Carter held the bow tie up to his neck. "I'm only wearing this because I trust you Cassie." |
92.Chocolate Being a big sister was still kind of new for the Ex-hufflepuff. She had gotten a new sister at the age of sixteen so the sister bond thing was taking it's time to happen. One thing was for sure, the hufflepuff was very good at being bossy, so when her sister came over for a visit, boss mode was turned all the way up."Put your bags by the door, I'll have it moved into your room later. Also I just had white carpets put into my room so no shoes, and for Merlins sake put down the chocolate Chelsea." |
Dedicated to Josh carter 60.Joke Cassie hadn't expected him to, but here he was, in their classroom, wearing heels and barely managing the feat, no pun intended. She tried to hold in her giggles as Josh Carter stumbled into every desk on his way to his seat. Fortunately for him his girlfriend came to his aid, not before casting Cassie looks but the Huflepuff certainly didn't care. It was a joke, into her fault Josh took it seriously. Cassie threw her old shoes into the box with the other things that were to be donated. There was no way she'd changed anything in her past. |
56. Fight Cassie sat across from the two persons bickering in front of her. It was hard to believe that these two persons would be married shortly. Well, it was easy to believe. Couples ended up clashing when it came to planning their weddings. The men usually wanted little fuss and the women wanted a fairy-tale extravaganza. Money was discussed and then boom! Huge fight. The dark haired woman cleared her throat to get both their attention. "So here is what, you will do..." She put their hands together and smiled at them."Kiss your fiance and tell her you love her." |
6.Divinition "Divinition is such a stupid subject." Cassie said as she closed the cupboard after pulling out a bottle of aged wine. Really, did anyone even take that silly subject seriously? She could count on both hands anyone who had carried on with it past their third year, and those kids were usually quite odd. Brynn chuckled and continued eating her cereal while listening to her best friend go on about her troubles and trials at Hogwarts. "I guess it's not completely fake, otherwise no one would actually allow it to be taught." Cassie shrugged nonchalantly." Still it was a waste." |
