97. Dictionary 97. Dictionary Two first years sat lazily in the Gryffindor common room. Despite the late hour both boys were wide awake. "Remy what does melancholy mean?" "Sirius you're saying it wrong, it's pronounced--" "Oh who care Remus! What does it mean?" Sirius leaned in and opened his eyes widely. "It means depression." Remus let out a slight sigh and went back to his parchment. "Remy?" "Yeah?" He lifted his head up once more. "What does anticipate mean?" "Go look it up in a dictionary." "Remy.....? What does a dictionary mean?" Sirius smiled inocently as he looked at Remus with golfball sized eyes. |
68. Roar 68. Roar It was a dull morning in the Gryffindor dormitories and everyone inside the room was asleep, everyone except for Sirius. The teenager sat on his bed upright without a hint of sleep in his eyes. "ROAR! No, no not it..." Perhaps a lower pitch? "ROOOAAARRRR! No, no that just sounds idiotic." Perhaps twice? "ROAR ROAR! HAHA That is it!" A noise could be heard from the four-poster bed beside Sirius' and a messy haired, James poked his head out the curtain. "What the hell are you doing?!" "Practicing my roar?" "It's bloody four in the morning go to bed, Padfoot!" |
78. Authors Choice: Hot 78. Authors Choice: Hot "Padfoot how come girls love you so much?" Sirius puffed out his chest haughtily, "Well young Wormtail it is because I am 'hot'." "Why don't girls like me?" "Pete, it's because you aren't hot... But no worries, we shall fix this!" Sirius took Peter by the arm and dragged him out all the way to the lake. It was a breezy day and the sun was hidden by clumps of grey clouds. "What are we doing here?" "Getting you a tan!" "But it's not sunny?" Sirius sighed, "Do I look like the weather man. How was I supposed to know!?" |
30. Feast 30. Feast Sirius walked towards the Great Hall with an extra skip in his step. The Gryffindor Quidditch team had just had their biggest victory yet and it was against their rival house-- Slytherin. He made a quick grab for a seat at the Gryffindor table and began dumping all sorts of food on his plate. Sirius stuffed everything in his mouth, forgetting any manners that he once possessed. The teenager was slowly collecting stares from students and soon enough most of the Great Hall had their eyes on him. "What are you lot looking at!" With that he continued his feast. |
49. Yule Ball 49. Yule Ball "Boys, the Yule Ball is officially one week away and I'm the only one with a date." "Well Padfoot, I can't just go with anyone. I've got to go with Evans!" Sirius let out a loud sigh. Evans this, Evans that. It's all that comes out of James' oversized mouth these days. "Well then I, Sirius Orion Black, vow to help you, James unable-to-date-Evans Potter, a date to the Yule Ball with a hotheaded ginger. "Really?" "Really." "What's in it for you?" "If you don't go with a date then the marauder reputation will be ruined!" Duh. |
65. Ooze 65. Ooze (Continued^) "Well Jamie, the first step to getting a girl is being handsome." He did a complete up and down check on his friend than shook his head. "This is going to be harder than I thought." "HEY! I am handsome!" "Not as handsome as me." He shook his head again in mock-sympathy. "Of course no one is, but still. Why would she go for you when she could have me?" "PADFOOT!" "Only trying to help," He let out a chuckle. "If only I could find some handsome cream. We'd just ooze some on you and TADA: Sirius like Perfection." |
53. Chase 53. Chase (Continued sorta ^) Sirius ran out of the Gryffindor common room at speeds faster than the latest Quidditch brooms. A short distance behind was a angered James chasing after his best friend. Sirius let out a bark like laugh as he looked over his shoulders. Sirius waved the small book in the air and James began to run even faster. Yes, Sirius had gotten James Potter's Diary. "GIVE IT BACK!" They continued the chase for another half hour before James gave up and headed towards the Common Room again. Sirius walked in cooly five minutes later and dropped the diary. "Girls dig runners" |
31. Dress Robes 31. Dress Robes (Continued ^) A week had gone by and Sirius had dragged James around the castle to do a list of pointless things in order to "get Lily". None of which had worked, but Sirius found it amusing anyways. The boys stood in the dormitories adjusting their dress robes waiting for Sirius to join them. "GREAT NEWS!" And there he is. Sirius opened the door loudly and walked in with a huge grin. "Mr. Potter, I just got you a ginger." James' whole face seemed to change completely as a wide grin appeared on his face. "Sirius I could kiss you." "Please don't" |

James looked at his "date" then back at who he thought was his best mate. "I told you I got you a ginger date; I never said it was Lily." Sirius looked at James with a 'HA-I'm-right' sort of smile. It wasn't his fault that Evans had said no. She always says no. It was James' fault for getting his hopes up. Everyone knows that Sirius is great with girls, but Evans doesn't count as a girl. She's a Lily. Besides Sirius Black is not a miracle worker. "Jamie I think you need a miracle worker." |
60. Joke 60. Joke Sirius looked at his small pile of presents with a smile. So what if his parents hadn't sent him anything this year. He doesn't need them anyways because he's got his best mates. "Ah boys, nothing like the smell of Christmas morning." Remus opened his mouth to question Sirius, but decided against it. James sent a glance to the others and immediately all four boys began to wildly open their presents. "What the hell is this!?" Sirius looked around the room and held up the diary What kind of cruel joke is this? "This is not funny guys." |
54. Dare 54. Dare (Continued^) Sirius looked around the room accusingly. Who dared to send him a bloody diary!? The other boys just starred at him and snickered. Sirius looked back at the diary once more and this time he actually took a good look at it. "Sparkles!? Pink? Fuzzy? Really!?" He put down the diary and went back to the other presents thinking maybe it would disappear. Chocolates from Moony, a Quidditch cleaning set from Wormtail, a few chocolate frogs and cards from admirers, but nothing from Prongs. "Prongs." "I thought you would need something to vent out anger." Sirius shook his head disapprovingly. |
84. Angry 84. Angry (Continued ^) Dear Diary, Well James gave me this diary because he thought he could make me angry. WELL HA! He's wrong! Because I, Sirius Orion Black, am going to use this diary jut to prove him wrong! But diary makes it sound girly so I have to name you. What do you want to be named diary? .... .... Well don't just sit there, say something! .... FINE. Then I will have to name you myself! How's Eugene? ... No? How about Tim? ... I am naming you tim and that is final! Sincerely, Sirius.
