“Hugo, stop mooching sentences off my card,” Rose whispered angrily.

“I don't get why dad won't just let me sign my name at the end of your card.”

“He wants mum to get heartfelt cards from both of us. Not just my heartfeltness and you being a lazy butt,” she explained, turning away from him, pulling her card with her.

Why did mum even need a heartfelt card? She knew he loved her plenty enough.

He erased his previous sentences he stole off Rose's card and wrote:

Dear Mum,

I love you. Happy Mother's Day.

Love,

Hugo

17 year old ginga boy loped down one of the corridor halls as fast as he could.

He was gonna die, he was was gonna die, he was SO going to die.

Hugo looked over his shoulder to see her coming. Right when he turned his head to look in front of him...

SMACK.

He was lying on top of Headmaster Spangle who had fallen to the ground.

“Oh...erm...I'm so sorry Headmaster!” he apologized, quickly getting to his feet and running again.

“HUGO ARTHUR WEASLEY! I AM PERSONALLY GOING TO RING YOUR THROAT!” he heard his little redhead vixen cousin threaten.

Gaaah...Hugo couldn't take it anymore. He couldn't keep running. It was time for him to stop and accept his too-soon death. He heard Lily's footsteps stop behind him and as he turned around to face her...

SLAP!

He cringed a little and felt stinging.

“HOW COULD YOU ANNOUNCE TO THE WHOLE GRYFFINDOR HOUSE WHAT HAPPENED LAST NIGHT BETWEEN LYSANDER AND I?!” she bellowed, tears starting to stream down her face.

He said nothing. Mainly because he didn't know what to say. When she raised her hand again, he thought he was going to be slapped, but it never came.

Instead, her arms wrapped around him and she cried into his shirt.

It was about time he stopped doing moronic things to his best friends.

“You mean to say that's really how your uncle spoke to snakes?” asked a brand spanken new firstie, as Hugo finished his hissing noises.

“Swear on my mother's life,” he answered with a nod.

The kid looked at him in awe. “That's. Awesome.”

Hugo shrugged with a satisfied look on his face. “It just comes naturally.” He sat up a little bit in his chair. “Oh and watch out for Scorpius Malfoy,” he warned. “The bloke's a bloody prat. He'll hex the parseltonuge right outta you.”

The firstie's eyes widened. “Reaaaaaalllyyy?”

“Yeah, but as long as you tell him you're friends with me, he should hold the hex back.”

Hah lieeeeee. It was fun lying to little kids.

It was his turn to use the invisibility cloak. No one knew it besides him.

And that happened to be the exact reason he had skipped Potions, forced a firstie to tell him the Slytherin password, then pranced straight into the Slytherin common room.

No one asked why he was there. It might have been the fact he was a 6th year, or there was that other possibility that he was carrying 8 pound dictionary. That book could knock you out cold.

His crime proved a success.

And no one was hurt in the process.
