Age: 12 years Hugo sat on the grass watching his cousins and sister play Quidditch. It was unfortunate he sucked, but he wouldn't complain about it.
“COME ON FRED! HIT THAT BLUDGER REEEEAAAALLLL GOOD,” he shouted, watching as the game really started to heat up. The ginger was on his feet jumping up and down.
CRAAACK.
The bludger flew and.... SMACK! It hit him square in the face. “OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!” he yelped.
Everyone playing landed and ran toward the bloody nosed boy.
“I guess I hit it too good,” Fred commented with a shake of his head.

“Hugo, get over yourself and stop acting like a freak,” Lily whispered to him, standing in front of her potted flitterbloom.
“But what if he finds out Lily?” he whispered back nervously.
“There's no way. Now be my partner and help me replant this thing.”
Suddenly a hand clapped him on the shoulder and he dropped the plant. His heart was pounding in his chest when he saw it was Professor Longbottom.
“You're rather jumpy today Mr. Weasley. Everything alright?”
“Brilliant,” he answered hastily.
Then Lily gave him a look that indicated: He doesn't know you're dating his daughter.

Hugo looked up from his DS for a second and then back down to his game.
“Rose! What's wrong?” called his mum, muting the telly.
“Probably saw a spider again,” muttered his dad. Hermione whacked him on the leg.
Pounding footsteps echoed down the stairs and then appeared an orange looking Rose.
He muffled a laugh and heard his dad do the same.
“Looking for this?” He held up a timer. “Payback for breaking my Black Ops game.”

Age: 14 Hugo sat lazily on one of the slouchy old arm chairs in the Gryffindor common room munching away on chocolate frogs. Boy did he love his chocolate frogs. They kept him goin... He glanced up and that's when he noticed Lily standing there.
She looked....different??
“What's on your face? And why is your skirt so short? Trying to look like a veela or something?” he questioned in between chews.
“It's called make up silly and I can wear whatever length skirt I want.”

Then he was smacked on the head by a book and he snapped wide awake.
“Whaa---who---where am I?” he asked in confusion, looking around at the students staring and chuckling.
“You happen to be in Divination class Mr. Weasley,” said Professor Patil.
“Really?” He looked across his table to see Lysander Scamander holding his book. “I mean... pshhh I totally knew that.”
Professor Patil rolled her eyes. “Just like your father,” she said to herself, walking back to the center of the classroom. | |

Ron raised an eyebrow. “Well Hugo, Xavier's mum isn't the Head of helping house elves at the Ministry is she?”
“No. At least I don't think so.”
“It just so happens yours is.”

Albus and Lily ran to hold him back

Hugo felt a sense of despair as he stood on the stage set up for Hogwarts graduation. In a way, it reminded him of when muggles graduated. All of them wore a cap and gown and got to walk across the stage to receive a diploma.
He looked out to find familiar faces of family and friends in the crowd. It was hard to believe he was actually going to graduate. His mum was crying, dad had a grin on his, and Rose's fingers were intertwined with Scorpius's beside her.
“Hugo Arthur Weasley,” Headmaster Spangle announced.
Cheers erupted in the crowd.
He stepped forward, careful not to trip over his feet, and ready to embrace his future. | |

Age: 15 “Lysander, where's Hugo?” Rose asked, shockingly worried for once. There had been no sight of the little ginger freak all day.
“He's up in our dorm,” the blonde answered.
Rose slowly walked up the stairs to the boy's dormitories and creaked the 5th year boy's door open.
“Hugo?” she asked softly.
That's when she noticed a figure with it's arms around it's knees and head down.
“Huey?”
No reply.
The girl walked over to the bed and gently lowered herself onto it.
Hugo suddenly looked up with tears spilling down his cheeks and asked, “Why did she have to die?!” Referring to Grandma Granger.
The siblings sat there in silence with only choked sobs echoing the empty room. | |

It was the last day of classes at Hogwarts and the Scamander twins and Hugo were more than thrilled to be done with the crappy school work.
They had come up with a plan at breakfast to do something memorable, then once classes were dismissed, their plan was put into action.
All three of the boy's untied their school ties and retied them around their heads.
Then they started running down the halls screaming, “FREEEEEEEEEEDOOOOOOOOM!” receiving looks that probably meant 'You three are freaks'. Haha but it's not like they didn't already know it.

It was Alice Longbottom.
“Alice, what are you doing?”
“Looking for my pet kneazle Sully. He escaped again and I'm so worried about him,” she explained soberly.
“Do you want some help?”
“Sure.”
They walked along quietly when Alice asked, “What's your reason for being out here?”
“Can't sleep. Ever since my Gran died it's been a hassle.”
“I'm sorry,” she whispered, and placed her hand in his tentatively.

“Too intimidated to speak eh? In that case....STUPEFY,” he shouted and pointed his wand at him.

Lysander burst out in laughter. “Dude those are hideous. It looks like something nargles would be attracted to.”
Hugo was horrified. THESE WERE HIS DRESS ROBES? “I'm not going.”
“You have to! You swore on it.”
He dropped the robes. Alice would never go with him in now.

Age: 14 (continuation of the last drabble) The ginger boy stood behind his friends in embarrassment as other students filed into the elaborately decorated Great Hall. When it was time for the prefects and their dates to be announced, the crowd split in half to make way.
Alice hadn't seen him yet so right now everything was so far so good.
That was until his friend's started wolf-whistling and hooting as one of the prefects walked by. THAT ONE PREFECT BEING HIS OLDER SISTER!!
Rose rolled her eyes dismissively.
“Are you TRYING to ruin my life?” he asked all of them.
“What? She's hot,” Xavier remarked. Others nodded in agreement.
He stood there speechless.
Barf.

Age: 9 The little ginger boy carefully pushed a kitchen chair to the counter, and got on top of it, reaching for the cookie jar. His mummy and daddy were outside degnoming the garden and Rose was in her room.
He took a chocolate chip cookie out of the jar and started munching on it. Being sneaky was fun.
“What do you think you're doing?!”
That was until your big sister caught you.
“Eating a cookie Rosie Posie,” he teased, sticking out his tongue with chewed cookie on it.
“Ewww! Close your mouth Huey Pooey.”
“Don't call me that!” He didn't like being referred to as poo.
“HUEY POOEY!”

Hugo heard a female voice behind him as he sat on the Astronomy Tower. He'd know that voice anywhere. It was Alice.
She came to take a seat beside him.
“I'm trying to map out the constellations we were assigned,” he explained.
“Didn't you say that last time? We were assigned that a week ago.”
He fidgeted uncomfortably. Merlin's would it be humiliating to admit he couldn't find them.
Strangely enough, it was if Alice understood his problem.
“I can help if you like.” The blonde girl laid down on her back and looked at the stars. Hugo followed suit.
“Thanks,” he softly said, glancing over at her.

“So what do you all think of Brynn Nott, huh?” asked Nate Abercrombie.
“Totally hot,” Callan mused, with agreeing nods from the other guys. “Did you see how short her skirt was on Wednesday?”
“Too bad she's a complete bimbo,” Hugo added. He had heard stories from Albus.
“Doesn't bother me much mate,” Nate shrugged. “What about you Scamander? Who you fancying?”
Hugo looked at his friend quizzically.

It's been said looks could kill, and Rose's looks had been known to do that.
“Mum and dad can't just keep buying me wands! They cost money! Plus I was finally starting to get attached to this one,” she lectured on. He turned his head a tiny bit to see her holding the snapped in half wand.

Age: 11 Little 11 year old Hugo walked up moving staircases to get to the Gryffindor common room. It was his first night here and he was quite scared to be searching for his house alone. He had stayed a little too long eating food at the feast.
“Is that the new Weasley boy? Son of the famous Ron and Hermione?” asked a voice above.
Hugo froze. “Who said that?” he asked quickly.
“I do believe it is.”
“Was it you?” the ginger asked pointing to a suit of armor.
“He certainly inherited his father's brains.”
“Oi! Up here Weasley!”
Hugo looked up at the portraits talking to him in awe.

Age: 5 Tiny tots, Rose and Hugo Weasley sat in the living room of their home while their mummy made dinner and dad was taking a nap. The children were coloring with markers in coloring books, lying on their stomachs.
“Huey, let's give daddy a mustache,” Rose whispered with a giggle.
“Okay,” Hugo agreed, returning the giggle.
The little boy obeyed everything his big sister said they should do.
He took a green marker and she took a purple, then walked over to their father.
Rose gave Ron a french mustache with a goatee and Hugo colored a unibrow.
Hugo gave Rose a high five and both of the children went back to resume their coloring like nothing ever happened. | |

“HI HUEY!” screeched a loud girlish voice.
Sadly for him, there was nowhere he could go to escape Briony McLaggen, daughter of Cormac and Lavendar.
He looked up at the girl sitting on the table in front of him.
“Briony...you need to bloody leave me alone,” he stated in a slow manner for her to understand.
Hugo packed his stuff up speedily and hurried out of the library.
Truth was. Briony vexed him. In all ways possible. | |

Hugo had always loved playing truth and dare. At least he did until James ruined it for him.
The ginger boy had to ignore the laughing and stares as he walked from the Gryffindor common room to the Great Hall for dinner. It wasn't as if the laughing and stares was something new to him, but this was totally different.
Upon reaching the Great Hall, he went directly to the closest table and got on top of it.
“Attention everyone!” he shouted. The hall got strangely silent besides the dying-of-laughter Slytherins. “I am a BANANA!” Silence. “Thank you, that is all.” He got off the table and walked casually out through the doors, listening to sudden laughter as he went.
Never would James make him dress up in a banana costume again. | |

Hugo watched as Uncle Harry walked up beside the Headmaster and waved to the students in the Great Hall. Cheers of joy and enthusiasm erupted. He looked to see James cringing slightly, Albus playing with his cereal, and Lily beside him, playing with her hair.
Hahah that meant there was only one thing to do...
“WOOOOOOOOOOT! GO UNCLE HARRY! I LOOOVE YOU!” he screamed wildly.
Lily punched him in the arm. “Shut up Hugo! You're sooo embarrassing.”
