"Oh for Merlin’s sake, Kita!"

Glaring, a tall brown haired boy entered the kitchen, holding a bunch of glittery quills in his hands. He threw them on the counter and looked down at his sister, waiting for an answer. But before Kita could say anything, a woman’s voice could be heard from near the stove.

"Who’s Merlin?"

Kita and Nathan looked at their mother before looking at each other, completely forgetting about the quills. "Muggles!"

Not hearing the last bit, Irene turned around and looked at her daughter, a smirk on her face. "Is he your boyfriend?"

"Ew! No!"

10: Arithmancy: Desire Numbers

Dani (Danielle) belongs to Some Mystical Girl

“Kita, what are Desire Numbers?” asked a confused Dani, sucking at the end of her quill and looking down at her parchment.

Kita turned to look at Dani, flapping a hand near her face. “Numbers you desire?” she suggested, shrugging.

“Who desires numbers though?” Dani asked, looking up at Kita.

“Everyone. Take me for example. I’ve always, er, desired the number 9,” she said, trying not to giggle, “Why, some would call it true love. Me and 9. We’d make a good couple, you know.”

Dani and Kita exchanged a look before bursting into a fit of giggles.

61. Kiss: Moving in

Btw, i know that this song will be old in 2075 but... it just fitted perfectly with the drabble so i couldn't help it.

Kita was in her new room at Belle Vue, her trunks lying open on the floor. Seeing as she had now moved in permanently, it was a good idea to sort out her clothes. After all, if she couldn’t find the perfect outfit to-

"Kiss me, k-k-kiss me…"

The sound of a boy singing made Kita turn her head to look at the door of her room. There was Asher, leaning against the frame of the door and smirking at her.

Sighing, she nudged past him and yelled, "Caroline! Your brother’s being weird again!"

19. Wand: Being shifty
Hogwarts grounds, Autumn 2074
Adrianna (Ad) Charday belongs to dracosgurl

"Hi Kita," Ad whispered.

Kita looked up and frowned. The girl was… acting oddly. Not only was she looking around, she had her hands behind her back. "Ad, is something wrong?" she asked, taking off her sunglasses.

Ad looking around before bringing her hands forward and presenting a wand.

Kita’s eyes travelled down to the wand before looking back up at Ad. "Er… why are you showing me your wand?" she asked, completely confused.

"It’s not mine," Ad said, trying her hardest not to laugh.

"Oh my days!" Kita said, "Which silly person made the mistake of annoying you?"

53. Chase: Ketchup!
The Great Hall, 2075
Daisy Tucker belongs to weasleytwinsROCK

"Kita, come BACK!" screamed Daisy, running after the tall brunette.

But Kita continued to run on ahead, her grasp on the bottle still firm. She looked back and grinned at Daisy, saying, "You’ll have to have a meal that doesn’t involve ketchup first!"

"NEVER!"

Daisy stopped. The young girl looked around the Hufflepuff table until her eyes landed on the one thing that’ll get her the ketchup bottle back. Daisy picked up the bars and said, "Oh Kita!"

Kita stopped and turned around, before letting out a gasp. “Daisy… put down the chocolate and no one needs to get hurt!”

47: Portkey: Request!
Hufflepuff Common Room, Autumn 2076

"Kita, do you know how to make a portkey?" Aaron asked, flopping into an armchair and looking at the older girl.

Kita looked up and frowned at the boy’s hair before saying, "Er… no. Why?"

"I dunno. It would be kind of cool to get out of Potions once in a while. You know… disappear!"

Kita blinked. "So you’re going to make a portkey?"

"Yeah!"

"Good luck achieving that one!"

"Why? Is it hard making a portkey?"

"Er, i don’t know about that. All i know is that it’ll be hard to get away from Lafay so easily."

96: Socks: Sockball fight!
Belle Vue: Scott Manor, Summer 2075
Louisa Carter belongs to Magical Soul

"Er… Louisa? Why are most of your socks blue?" Kita asked, turning around to look at one of her best friends.

"Wit beyond measure is man’s greatest treasure!" Louisa replied, folding a pair of socks and pouting at Kita.

"…Hufflepuffs are particularly good finders!"

"And Ravenclaw’s are particularly good throwers!" And with that, Louisa threw the socks she had in hands towards Kita.

Kita gasped before giggling and squealing, "SOCKBALL FIGHT!" She threw a sock ball back towards Louisa. And before they knew it, balls of socks were flying around in amongst laughs and squeals from the two girls.

13: Quidditch: Bludger!
Quidditch Pitch: Autumn 2069


With a small smile on her face, Kita hovered up in the air. It was a wonderful feeling, flying. She wasn't even scared of being so high up! Maybe it had something to do with practise and concentrating on people who were flying with you.

She looked down at the captain who was releasing a set of balls. Funny how small people looked from so high-

THWACK!

Kita's head snapped up. Wait... WHY WAS THAT BALL FLYING TOWARDS HER?! Screaming, she threw an empty wrapper at the ball, hoping it would leave her alone, before flying off. Silly bludgers!

12: Charms: Being charming
Charms classroom, 2073
Cassie Storm belongs to Davvy_Wavvy

"Maybe he’s new!"

"Maybe he’s single!"

Kita grinned. Cassie was right, the boy COULD be single. After all, he was sitting on his own.

"Maybe he hasn’t got any friends,"

"We can be his friends," Cassie grinned.

"Totally!" Kita said, giggling.

But before the girls could do anything, the professor had approached the girls and was standing in front of them, arms crossed. "Girls, why do I not see any charms work going on?"

"Professor, we ARE doing some charms!" Cassie said, smiling sweetly.

"We’re just practicing the art of charming a certain boy," Kita said, trying not to giggle.

27: Owl: Biting
Hufflepuff common room, summer 2075

"Kita, your owl looks angry,"

Kita looked down at her owl and then up at Nessie. "She bit me."

"And that’s why she’s angry?" Nessie asked, "Let me try and console her." She reached over and gently picked up Alaska who looked up at Nessie with affection.

"How did you do that?!" Kita gasped.

"It’s simple! Just be gentle," Nessie said, stroking Alaska’s feathers, "Try it with Aya."

Kita reached over and picked up Aya as gently as possible. "I think she-OUCH!" She looked down at her finger which now had another cut on it. "Why do owls hate me?"

43: Headmaster: Lies!
In the Lewis home, summer before Hogwarts 2069

"…and if you don’t behave, you get sent to the Headmaster,”

Kita’s eyes grew wide. Really? The Headmaster?

“And is he…” She looked to the left and then the right before leaning in and whispering, “…is he mean?”

“Evil,” Nathan said, smirking at the girl.

o_O This was NOT happening. She was being sent to a school where the Headmaster was an evil-

“Nathan, stop feeding your sister lies!”

Kita jumped and looked up at her mother standing in her doorway before turning back to Nathan, who had finally let out his bursts of laughter.

“That is NOT funny!"

99: Trunk: TRUNK ATTACK!
Aboarding the Hogwarts Express, September 2070


HEAVE!

Kita groaned. This trunk had to be heavy didn’t it? Why did Hogwarts want them to bring so many things? She could guarantee that she wouldn’t use half the items in her trunk. So now she had to heave extra luggage onto the Hogwarts Express only to bring it back without actually being-

Was that chocolate?

Kita tiptoed and looked at the flash of blue wrapper she had just seen. Maybe she was dreaming. She looked at her trunk only to find-

WHY WAS IT TILTING?!

"AAARRRGGGHHHH!" she screamed as she started running away from her trunk, "TRUNK ATTACK!"

21. Veela: Prancing
In Belle Vue, Scott Manor, summer 2075


"Caroline, is it hard being a Veela?"

Caroline looked up from her textbook and blinked at Kita. "I don’t know, Kita, I’m not a Veela," she said.

"I know but… it can’t be hard can it?" Kita asked, "All you have to do is flick your hair and prance around everywhere."

"I think there’s a lot more to it than that," Caroline said gently, smiling at her friend.

"No, look, I’ll show you," And with that, Kita stood up and started prancing around before-

OOMPH!

Caroline burst out into laughter as Kita stood up and said, "… It’s too hard."

A young Kita let out a giggle as she hung onto her father’s hand. "Daddy, can we go over there?"

"Sure, poppet," Gareth said as he followed his eager daughter towards the confectionary stand.

Kita tiptoed and looked up at the food as her father eyed the woman now walking towards them.

"So is this her?" the woman asked, nodding down at Kita, "The girl you took up for adop-"

"Lower your voice! She could hear you!" he hissed, glaring at the woman.

Kita opened her eyes as a tear fell down her cheeks. All the clues had been there…

58. Hoot: Dangerous
In Eeylops Owl Emporium, summer 2069


Hmph! Who knew shopping for an owl could be so hard? How do you know which owl will be nice to you and which one will bite your fingers off?

Kita walked through the shop, eyeing each owl as she passed them. And then one caught her eye. It was partly snowy and it was looking at her with huge amber eyes. Kita, smiling, picked up the owl and-

OUCH!

She glared at the owl as it gave off a small hoot. It may have been cute but boy could it bite! Figures she had to pick a dangerous owl.

30: Feast Christmas
In the Great Hall, Christmas 2075

And, um, this isn't meant to offend anyone. I'm sorry if it does.


"Enjoying the feast?" Kita giggled.

"Look at all this FOOD!" Aaron said, "I love Christmas!"

"Get used to it," Kita said, "Cracker?"

"Sure!" Aaron tugged the other end of the cracker.

BANG!

"DR PEPPER!" Aaron yelled.

"CHOCOLATE!" Kita squealed before looking at the third item, "Er, who gets the stinky socks?"

"Here," Aaron picked up the socks with broomsticks on them and chucked it as far as he could. The two started laughing as screams erupted from the Slytherin table.

"Merry Christmas!" Kita giggled, raising her glass of pumpkin juice.

"Merry Christmas!" Aaron raised his glass as well and-

CHINK!

98. Pyjama's: Spill
In Louisa's room at Belle Vue, summer 2075


Kita squealed as she ran into the room in her pyjama’s and bounded onto the bed, opposite Louisa. She flicked her wand and a plate of cookies and two mugs of hot chocolate made their way towards the girls, stopping at the bedside table.

Louisa let out a giggle. “You’re really excited about this aren’t you?” she asked, smiling slightly.

“Obviously!” Kita said, “Now spill!”

Louisa took a deep breath before saying in a small voice, “It’s… about a boy.”

Kita let out a small groan. “If you had told me that before, I would have brought more cookies!”

24: House Elf: Chopping!
In the Kitchens at Hogwarts, 2075
Side note: This was during the Polyjuiced phase so that explains the blonde hair.

Chop… chop… chop…

Cooking was hard. And these house elves weren’t making things better. She loved house elves but couldn’t they look somewhere else instead of at her?

She bent down and continued to chop, her new blonde hair falling in a curtain around her face. Her eyes were stinging with tears but she brought the knife down before raising it again and…

WHOOSH!

“Arrrgghhh!”

Kita turned around and gasped as house elves shrieked and scattered in different directions. There, stuck on the wooden door was the knife she had been using to chop the onions.

“Er… I love you?”

54: Dare: Truth or Dare:
In the Hufflepuff Girl's Dorms, 2076
Alyssa "Lyssie" Potter belongs to FireboltAvis88

Spiiiiiiin!

The Butterbeer bottle spun round and round until it landed on… Lyssie.

"Truth or dare?"

"Dare!"

"I dare you…" Kita grabbed a chocolate frog and handed it to Lyssie, "...to release this chocolate frog into the fourth year girl’s dorms."

Lyssie giggled as she stood up and went over to the fourth year girl’s dorms. Kita waited…

"AAARRGGHHH!"

Kita burst into a fit of giggles as Lyssie came running back.

"The look on their faces!" Lyssie said between bursts of laughter.

"I wonder if they’ll fight for it…"

Kita and Lyssie exchanged a look before running to the door…

9: Defence Against The Dark Arts: Fail!
In the DADA Classroom, autumn 2068


"This is a class in which you learn to defend yourself against the darkest of witches, wizards and creatures alive!" the professor said, looking at each student in the eye, "There’ll be no slacking and no giving up. It’s not the right thing to do when you’re faced with things like Dementors and Lethifolds. You will need to be ready, even when you least expect it. You will need to be vigilant! You will need to keep your wits about you. You will need courage!"

There was no way she was going to do well in this class now.

34: Parseltongue: HISS!
In the library, summer 2075


"Caroline, can you teach me Parseltongue?"

Caroline looked up from her piece of parchment and blinked at the girl sitting opposite her. Kita blinked back at her.

"Well," she said, putting down her quill, "You just hiss."

"Hiss?" Kita asked, "And the other person understands you?"

"Yes! Like so: HHHIIIIISSSSSSSSS!"

"HISS HISS HIIIIIIISSSSSSSS!"

"HIIIIIISSSSSSSSSEEEYYYAAAAAA"

"HHHIIIIIIISSSSSAAAASSSSHHHHEEEYYYYYAAAAAAAAA! "

Just as Caroline was about to respond…

"This is a library! Will you two quit making those hissing noises!" The glare from the librarian was enough to get Caroline and Kita to pack up and run out of the library in a fit of giggles.

46: Dungeon: Torture!
In the Potions classroom, autumn 2068


It was cold, dark and slightly spooky. Why did Hogwarts even have a place like this? And why were their lessons all the way down here?

Kita gulped as she looked around the dreary classroom. This was the dungeons. This is where some of the magic happened. This is where they were going to learn Potions.

... More like be TORTURED! That’s the REAL reason as to why they’re here.

And so, Kita walked towards a seat, sat down and said, "I’m Kita Lewis, a first year Hufflepuff and I surrender."

Maybe she wouldn’t be tortured so badly now. Yay!

48: Leprechaun: Pot of Gold!
In the Entrance Hall/Grounds, March 2076


Skip… skip… skip!

Then there came the sound of two people gasping. Kita grinned as she looked at the boy standing close to her.

"Aaron, you look perfect!" she squealed.

"I do don’t I?" he said, doing a little spin in his Leprechaun costume, "You look pretty good, yourself. Shall we go and find it then?"

Kita giggled and nodded. She held onto Aaron as the two of them skipped out of the Entrance Hall and towards the grounds. Underneath a huge rainbow, the following chant could be heard:

"We’re off to find the gold, the wonderful pot of gold!"
