Theme #27: Owl


Selena skipped throughout the hallways with a bag of owl treats. She was certain that TallPerson had been lying about not having that owl. So she was going to find it once and for all.

“TALLPERSON!” Selena exclaimed excitedly, jogging over to him. “Where’s your owl?”

“I told you I didn’t have one, I borrowed one from a friend,” Sebastian sighed, rolling his eyes.

Selena pouted. “You’re lying!”

“No, I’m not, so go feed yourself the owl treats,” Seb smirked.

Selena huffed. “I know you have an owl.”

“No. I don’t.”

“YES!”

“Yeah, you’re my pet owl, minus the smarts.”

Theme #48: Leprechaun


“Sel! Wait up!” Sebastian called.

“What do you want, TallPerson?” Selena said, stopping in her place.

“I have something for you, close your eyes and open them once I tell you to. It’s nothing bad, I promise. Trust me.” Seb nodded.

Selena did as she was told, feeling something being sprayed on her hair, she closed her eyes tighter.

“I’m done. Open your eyes.” He answered, holding up his mirror in her face to see.

“What did you do to me!?” Selena yelled.

--Her hair was spray-painted green with a green hat placed upon her head.

“You’re a leprechaun!”

Theme #82: Careful


Needless to say, Sel was not happy walking around with a big green hat and green hair. She stormed though the castle looking for TallPerson who had ran away.

“YOU BETTER BE CAREFUL!” Sel shouted as she spotted someone’s shadow.

A smirk graced her face. She snuck up behind the snickering person then jumped right on the person’s back.

“GOTCHA!” Selena squealed with delight, taking the hat off and placing it on Sebastian’s. “I told you to be careful.”

“Of what? You, a feather, tackling me?” Sebastian asked, rolling his eyes.

“Nope. I want a piggy back ride. Giddy up!”

Theme #8: Potions


“Drop one of those in,” ShortPerson pointed towards the dented beans, “and finish it off with a bit of that fluffy stuff in that case.”

Sebastian nodded and started to stir the potion; for some reason the potion started to have a bad stench. His eyes started to water and then, the potion blew up in his face.

“SELENA!” He yelled, his face blackened by the smoke.

“What?” She asked, turning back towards Sebastian from her loving gaze towards Diggy.

“This is why I never attend classes! I always seem to get hurt by you and your boyfriend!”

Drama Queen.

Theme #2: Muggle Studies


The professor was talking about some communication device that muggles used and Selena listened intently.

“Psst, that thing will explode if you put it near your ear,” Sebastian whispered to her as her eyes widened.

“And when you push a button, it’ll turn into a robot and eat you.”

Then the professor took out a boxy thing.

“When you open that, the light will be brighter than the sun and incinerate you,” TallPerson continued.

Selena’s face blanched. Just as the professor was about to open it, Selena screamed and ran out, leaving Sebastian chuckling to himself.

Oh… revenge was sweet.

Theme #71: Untie

While Sebastian was walking down towards the Kitchen, he saw Selena bumping into someone and her books falling down onto the ground. He chuckled to himself and started to walk over to her to help. Suddenly, his shoe string had gotten stuck on a sticky Bertie Bott’s bean that had been squished upon the ground. He pulled it loose and finally gotten over towards ShortPerson.

“While you’re down there why don’t you tie my shoe?” He said placing his foot on top of her books.

Selena scowled at him and untied his other shoe while he wasn’t looking.

“Later.”

Trip.

Theme #87: Plaid


Selena looked at Sebastian’s plaid shirt and wrinkled her nose.

“What?” Sebastian asked a bit annoyed.

“You’re wearing plaid,” Selena said simply, still eying his plaid shirt.

“And…?” Sebastian asked in confusion.

“Plaid is too cool for you,” Selena said, shrugging her shoulders. “Plus, plaid is for smart people, and you’re definitely not smart.”

Sebastian sighed. “ShortPerson, I thought we established the fact that I was smarter than you, we proved it,” he said. Selena must’ve missed it, she was probably too short therefore out of earshot last time.

“So? Plaid is for smart people. And you’re only slightly smarter.”

Theme #18: Whomping Willow

On a peaceful day Sebastian and Selena decided to take a quiet stroll through the grounds. They took a break by the Whomping Willow, far from it to not be hit, and sat down; discussing random topics. As Selena took out her chocolate frog and began to eat it, a bird decided to come; snatching it away.

“Give me my chocolate back!” She yelled as she came closer and closer towards the Whomping Willow.

Sebastian finally realized how close she was and he started to run towards her; as the tree bent backwards, about to attack.

Theme #6: Divination


Selena cleared her throat and squinted at the crystal ball. “It’s not getting cloudy!!” Selena huffed impatiently.

“That’s because you’re not doing it right,” Sebastian said as he bumped Selena out of her seat and sat down where she was previously.

Selena looked up from the ground and scowled. “I was too. Maybe it just means that it’s pointless trying to figure out anything this class.”

“Or that you just stink at it,” Sebastian said smugly as he leaned in. “See, look, it’s fogging up.”

“That’s you’re breath.” Selena pointed, standing.

Sebastian rolled his eyes. “Whatever. Divination is pointless anyways.”

Theme #54: Dare

“I should dye your hair pink because you’ve been mean to me a lot lately.”

“PINK? You’ve got to be kidding me, ShortPerson. I already had to dye my hair black and purple, while acting like a person totally opposite of me. That was one dare I’m not doing ever again.” Sebastian said, taking his phone out of his pocket and looking for the oh-so-famous photo.

“Here.” He said, handing the picture to Selena.

Selena looked at the picture with a blank stare on her face and then back up at Sebastian.

“I still think we should dye it pink.”

Theme #40: Spell


Selena turned the pages in her book. Why did she think attempting to learn from TallPerson was a good idea again? Ah well, she was bored and she might as well have fun.

“Hey… TallPerson,” Selena whispered urgently.

“I’m trying to study ShortPerson,” Sebastian sighed.

Selena shrugged. It wasn’t like she cared. “How do you spell pink?”

Sebastian rolled his eyes. “P-I-N-K.”

“Thanks. Do you like pink?” Selena continued.

“Of course not, when did you start caring?” Sebastian asked suspiciously.

Selena grinned. “Since I learned a spell to turn your hair pink! Stay still! Colovaria!”

“WHAT?!”

“Awwwh… pretty hair TallPerson!”

Theme #33: Classroom

Dear ShortPerson,

It’s saddening not to have you back here in Hogwarts again. And yes, I’m back at Hogwarts to answer your question. My parents had decided that their love is a lot more powerful than to just divorce each other so I’m still stuck here. Anyways, back to me seeing I was already on the subject, I think Bonnie likes me. Strange, right?

Sebastian laid down on the ground, hands behind his head, ready to take a nap on a beautiful, quiet, sunny day that would not be ruined by--

“TALLPERSON!” Selena exclaimed as she skipped over and sat down right next to him. “So, I bought all these awesome new candies and I don’t which one to eat first! Because they’re all so colorful and-”

“ShortPerson… leave me alone, I’m trying to sleep,” Sebastian sighed.

“But… it’s a matter of life or death!”

“No. It’s not. Whether I get a nap is,” Sebastian said, sitting up and pushing the shorter girl away.

Theme #78: Author's Choice = Sebastian's Secret

“I’m so hungry!” Sebastian complained, hearing his stomach growl. “ShortPerson, let’s just go eat somewhere, I’m sick of shopping for silly quills with you.”

Selena rolled her eyes at the boy and had an interesting idea. She quickly took one of the chocolate balls out of her bag and threw it over to him. Before she could tell him what it was, Sebastian had taken the wrapper off and had already eaten it.

“Chocolate.” She stated, giving him an evil smirk.

Seb’s eyes widened just a bit; then he smacked himself on the head.

“How’d you figure out my secret?”

Theme #100: Homework


Selena looked at the letter TallPerson sent… she supposed she should reply to it.

Dear TallPerson,

I NEED HELP! Enclosed is my homework. Please help me do it. I don’t get it. And since you’re so “smart” you can help me! You like homework, right?

Thanks, but really, I’m doing you a favor.

She sealed the letter and gave it to her owl. “Alright, Hollie, give it to meanie person,” she said.

Theme #20: Hogsmeade

Sebastian was walking along the twisting trails of Hogsmeade as he searched for ShortPerson. It seemed like he hadn’t seen her for ages, when in reality it was only just a year. They had planned to finally meet up here after sending letters to each other.

While Sebastian was looking around somebody had attacked him from behind and he felt something hanging onto his back. It hurt badly.

“Ouchh!” He groaned as the owl dug its’ nails into his shoulder.

“TallPerson, it’s only Keith.” Selena answered, smirking at the boy.

“I’m never sending you letters ever again.” Sebastian retorted.

Theme #68: Roar


“Just… ROAR” Sel urged the owl to do something other than stare at her.

“ShortPerson, where did you get the owl?” TallPerson asked, sighing.

“The tower where - I mean, he found me,” Sel said. Which wasn’t a complete lie… she went to the tower and the bird found her.

“You know it’s not mine, right?” Sebastian asked.

“Shhh… Keith is going to learn how to roar,” Sel said, hushing the Gryffindor.

“An owl cannot-” Sebastian started.

“KEITHAKARP. Roar at TallPerson,” Selena said as if summoning a pokemon.

The owl tilted his head.

“Nice try,” TallPerson said, patting Sel’s head.

Theme #24: House Elf

“TallPerson, what are you going to dress up as for Halloween?” Selena asked, as she sat on one of the pumpkins in the pumpkin patch.

“Not sure yet, but I think I have the best costume idea for you.” Sebastian answered, looking around for the best pumpkin he could carve into.

“And what would that be?”

“Yourself, you’re already scary enough.”

--An evil stare was given towards Sebastian as he laughed.

“Okay, okay…er-you can go as a house elf. You’re short enough.”

“Hmm, maybe I could! Then maybe the house elves will let me get food at anytime I want!”

Theme #7: Care of Magical Creatures

“ShortPerson, did you see my wand? I think it fell out when I was here,” Sebastian said, scratching his head.

Selena looked at Keith and stayed silent.

“Where’s my wand?” TallPerson.

“Well… I was studying Care of Magical Creatures, you see,” Selena started.

“Okay, so?” TallPerson said.

“Well… an owl wasn’t magical so I thought that if Keith had your wand he would be magical!” Selena beamed.

“And…?” Sebastian said.

“Keith didn’t like the stick and threw it at the tree,” Selena said with a pout, pointing at the whomping willow.

“I’m going to kill you!” Sebastian moaned.

“Keith’s sorry!”

Theme #59: Ignore

“TallPerson, talk to meeee!” Selena complained.

Sebastian ignored the girl as he looked in the shop for an interesting book. He was only ignoring her because she had broken his wand and he couldn’t get a new one until a couple of weeks.

“Sebastiannn, come on, you can’t ignore me forever!”

The boy continued to ignore her as he reached up to grab the book he needed. However, Selena had other plans; she kicked him right in his shin.

“OUCH! WHY DID YOU DO THAT?” Sebastian yelled, being shushed by the people around him.

“See, you can’t ignore me forever.”

Theme #19: Wand

“TallPerson…?” Selena said cautiously, holding a box in her hand and Keith on her shoulder.

“Go away,” TallPerson said shooing the girl away.

“But Keith says he’s sorry and he helped me get this!!!” Sel said beaming and held out the box.

TallPerson rolled his eyes. “Would it make you shut up if I opened it?”

Selena nodded and waited for him to open it. There sat a new shiny wand. Shiny because Selena had felt that it looked ugly and needed some sparkles.

“What’s this?” Sebastian asked.

“A new wand!” Selena said, beaming at him.

“It’s hideous!” TallPerson exclaimed.

Theme #58: Hoot

Dear ShortPerson,

This time I’m sending Hollie, because I know you’ll steal Joey. Yes, his name is Joey. And no, I will not be doing your homework, do it yourself. I’d rather have you fail then you will never be able to visit and it won’t ever see you again! Just kidding.

Oh and I’m so sorry for making my last letter so sappy, just thought you would like to know what’s actually going on in my life without you.

Sebastian held the torch in his hand and pointed at Selena with it. “Can you tell me what this is?”

“The fire carrier,” Selena said proudly.

Sebastian sighed. “No, ShortPerson, that just proved my theory about how tiny your brain really is.”

Selena scowled. “My brain isn’t tiny!” She was pretty sure it was bigger than TallPerson’s brain…

“Then you’d know this was a torch,” Sebastian scoffed.

Selena rolled her purple eyes and Sebastian lit the torch. “It’s dangerous.”

“I know,” Sebastian said, watching the flame flicker, then smirked at ShortPerson. “You have four seconds to run.”

“What?”

“Three…”

“Eep!”

Theme #91: Future

Knock, knock.

A forty-year-old Sebastian walks over to the door and opens it; surprised by the sight before him.

“Hello?”

“Happy to see your main annoyance from Hogwarts again, yes?”

“Selena? …Is that you?”

“Who else? Hmm…seems like you gained some pounds,” Selena said patting Sebastian’s stomach, “chocolate, I’m assuming?”

“I don’t eat chocolate, however it seems like you’ve shrunken a bit as well, ShortPerson.” Sebastian chuckled. “So why are you here? I haven’t seen you in years.”

“Just thought I would stop by and tell you that my family just moved in to the house down the street.”
