100 Drabbles about Rose Weasley and Scorpius Malfoy - Sa13+ Hello! My name is Ellie. I’ve spent the past several months working on a fan fiction about Rose Weasley and Scorpius Malfoy and thought this might be a good way to continue my love for the couple. Note from the author: Before I begin, please note that in my personal canon, Scorpius is in Ravenclaw house and Rose is in Gryffindor. This is important when it comes to my characterizations of each in the pair as well as their relationships with their families. Thanks! Disclaimer: The Harry Potter characters and universe belong to J.K. Rowling. The Themes: 25. Sorting Hat “Malfoy, Scorpius!” Rose watched the blonde boy step forward. He sat on the stool, a smug look plastered on his face. “Well,” Rose whispered to her cousin beside her, “this one’s sure to be a Slytherin.” Albus chuckled. His fears seemed to have lifted. The hat sat on his head for longer than she expected. Shouldn’t this be obvious? But a moment later, a great “RAVENCLAW” echoed around them. Her jaw dropped. Was this possible? The boy stood quickly and stumbled toward the Ravenclaw table, confused. As he sat, Rose caught a quick glimpse of his face—he was grinning. |
I am attempting to go in chronological order with these drabbles, but I'm sure I will mess it up at some point. Anyways... 12. Charms “And what hand motion is used for Wingardium Leviosa?” Professor Flitwick asked the class, glancing around at his new students. Rose’s hand shot up. She had read her Charms textbook three times already and knew the basics of all the spells. This was her chance to show her knowledge. “Mr. Malfoy, you were first.” Rose looked back two rows. Indeed, Scorpius sat confidently with his arm in the air. “It’s a swish and a flick.” He glanced her way with a grin. “Fantastic!” the small man seemed delighted. Well this was great. Just what Rose needed—a competitive Malfoy. |
I feel like something should have gone before this. You can assume something happened in the classroom. 89. Past “Rose!” She heard as she left the classroom. “Weasley!” What could he possibly want with her? Pretending not to hear him didn’t seem to be working. She turned around sharply. “What?” He looked taken aback. “I just thought—as we’re both the top of the class—you’d want to study together.” She didn’t respond. She just turned around and kept walking. “Look, I know our parents had problems,” she turned around again, wondering where this was heading. “But that’s in the past. We're not our parents, and--” “The past, you say?” she asked. “Then stop acting like your father.” |
