72. Vex Rose Weasley most certainly didn't look her name. She hadn't inherited the Weasley hair, nor their blue eyes. She wasn't placed in Gryffindor like her whole family, either. No. She had brown hair, brown eyes and was said to be even brighter than her mother with a sharp tongue and wit that always kept him on his toes. Of course he wanted her to notice him! So he decided to vex her, push her to almost breaking point. He would tease her, just to see her eyes light up and hear her voice. Even if it meant getting yelled at. |
38. Patronus “I can't do it.” A happy memory. C'mon. A really really happy memory. “It's okay, Rosie. Really. It's hard. I know you can do it.” “But Al. I'm a RAVENCLAW. I should be able to do this!” Her cousin patted her shoulder. She was one of the last in their year to stilll not have produced a corpeal patronus. And the NEWTs were coming up soon. But all she could think whenever she closed her eyes was the image Scorpius of Scorpius and Lily, her cousin, kissing. In front of her. And that just made her want to throw up. |
52. Bore Bored. He always was, when she wasn't in the same classroom. He didn't quite have anyone to taunt other than Albus, and it was quite boring. Al never had the same reactions Rose did. "Al?" he asked, just to test his theory. Al simply grunted in response and continued chopping valerian roots. Theory proven. So when he found her in Arithmancy later that day, oh boy did he annoy the heck out of her. "Rooooosie!" he sang, in almost a singsong style. "Shut up, Malfoy. I'm not interested in your Life Path Number." Rose Weasley knew him so very well. |
42. Portraits “UGH. GET AWAY FROM ME, BLOODY GIT.” “Oh Rosie, dahling. Aren't you just fantastic at insults?” Scorpius smirked. “SHUT IT. WHY DON'T YOU JUST LEAVE ME ALONE?!” “Oh hun. Isn't it the other way around? Aren't you the one following me?” Rose sniffed and spun on her heel, walking off. A fat lookinglady in a portrait bounced through frames, trying to keep up with her. “Sweetie, he's – head – over – heels – for – you,” The portrait panted. “Oh what do YOU know? Your just paint!” |
57. Goblin Rose was just plain sick of her studying for her OWLs. It was always History of Magic that had her stuck, unlike her mother. She had always been better at Charms and Transfiguration. Not memorizing dates and facts. Heck, she'd rather study DADA. Rebellion of Hogsmeade took place in 1612. The Three Broomsticks Inn was used as headquarters for the rebellion. Just then, someone tapped her on the shoulder. "Goblin?" she blurted suddenly. Realizing her mistake, she flushed a bright scarlet. "Oops?" she squeaked. Scorpius burst out laughing so hard he didn't stop for ten minutes. |
