What? Did João startled her that much, really? To the point where she was checking her heart beat? What could leave her in so deep thoughts? He had stood right in front of her, after all, for her to recognise him. And why was she dropping that smile right after she was over the initial shock? Something was quite off with her right now, and he couldn't even figure out what. But he would, eventually.

"I said olá," he said slowly, for that to sink in. He didn't understand why she was overreacting so much. "It means hello." Obviously. He wasn't going around calling her names, only to ask how she was after a few seconds ago, being on his politest behaviour.

"I'm fine too..." Was she being curt? Okay, now she creeped him out. He was sure they seperated quite well, with a few laughters and such... why was she acting up now? There weren't even any people to invent stories about him yet.

"Is there something wrong?" Like, about me, particularly?

Oooooh. Hello! Well, that was.. reasonable. She giggled putting a hand on his shoulder as she tried to control her giggling fit. Phew, was she jumpy these days after burying her cat in Knockturn Alley. Straightening herself up and wiping the two or so drops that gathered in the corner of her eyes, she spoke "No, no. Sorry. I'm just.. I didn't expect to hear something I don't know so suddenly. You said Ola? As in Hello? I should remember that, Jaw." See? She was trying to say his name after all ^___^ A successful try, she was sure.

"You're enjoying the Carnival so far?" But before he'd answer, she spoke again, "I was going to get into one of the baskets! What do you say?" Hmm? He didn't look so very into them but what the heeeck? they could ride together and talk.

Baaaaaaam!Someone had bumped into her.For a second Fee felt a little dizzy.But then she heard the concerned voice of a boy and blinked a few times.Looking at him she smiled."I am totally fine",she nodded,"are you alright?I probably wasnt looking where i was going either."Sometimes the blonde could be sooo dreamy.

"Dont worry about it",the girl shook her head,"when i first attended Hogwarts i bumped into people all the time".In her first year it had been like 5 people a day.Gladly that had died down over the time."And guess what? Thats how i met my best friends",the girl chuckled,"actually how i met most of my friends."So it wasnt a bad thing to run into a people at all.

The guy seemed to be about her age so he probably was a transfer.There were soo many of them this term,what was kinda cool because one of the Slytherins fave things to do was getting to klnow knew peiople."Nice to meet you Sean",the 14 year old smiled friendly,"i am Feenella."Not the best way to impress a girl?D'aawww."Why do you guys always think you need to impress us?",she chuckled,"just stick with being you.Thats the best to impress."

Yes. Numbers and possibilities could go forever. So, he was unable to answer questions like that. It was just that everytime he looked at her face, he felt like he could do anything, and yes that pretty much literally meant anything, for her. That anything, of course, included going and seeing how high he could go.

As he kept watching her beauty, instead of the view around them, the Gryffindor's smile widened some yet only to turn back to its original form the moment he realised that she took that breath right after looking around. Riight. They were pretty high up right now. Yet was there something wrong? Was she scared? ''Are you okay?'' He could not tell, really. On the other hand it was her who wanted to get on this ride at first place. One with some fear of height would never do that, so he supposed he could relax.

And it was not hard to relax once she was seated right next to him. He leaned in to listen to what she was saying carefully. Ah, she wanted to try and see how high they could go. ''Yes.'' so Josh replied happily while wrapping her in his arms. ''Maybe up there, we can find a place for ourselves to stay together far from the crowd on the earth.''

However once he pronounced the last word another idea hit the Gryffindor boy. ''But it is said that there's no oxygen too high up there. I can't risk you for some...kind of showing off for my love.'' Maybe he could try himself, without risking her, then take her back if it was safe.

Damien suddenly felt cornered with Isobel's question. A simple question that could be given a simple answer, and yet here the poor boy sat; feeling overwhelmed. Lockhart, in his friendly way, accused Damien of having feelings for Isobel that ran deeper than friendship. But how could he know that, when it's been said time and time again that the two of them are just friends? Isobel was Damien's best friend, and he wouldn't know what to do without her.

Looking down at his feet, the Hufflepuff boy inhaled deeply, holding that breath for a few seconds before releasing it slowly. "You're my best friend, Isobel" he said glancing up at her. "And I know I've never told you that -- but you are. I should've told you many times before but I never did -- and I'm sorry if I've ever hurt your feelings because of that."

He held her gaze for a moment before looking out to the horizon again. "Why was I so cold to you before?" he repeated, stalling to buy himself time as well. "I'm not sure that I can give you an answer to that question," he added shaking his head, then looking to her once more. "I've -- never had friends before. Never had anyone whom I thought I could trust, and as a result -- I'm sorta socially innept, if you will," he added with a sheepish grin. "You, above all people know that about me. I'm rarely conversational, I'm not active in anything and you usually find me sitting alone --" Now he was getting off track. He shook his head slightly to rearrange his thoughts before continuing.

"I've never really depended on anyone either," he added. "Never needed anyone to talk to, or to help me. But after that stupid fight -- and realizing how important friendships are to me -- makes me realize that I need to have you as a part of my life, Isobel. I need you as my best friend. The person I trust the most and confide in --"

Damien's eyes never left hers. He felt drained all of a sudden. Emotionally drained, but he didn't want to stop talking with her. Never wanted to stop staring into those amazing blue eyes. He wished they could stay in the Ferris Wheel basket holding hands for all eternity.

Isobel knew he was going to say that, and she surprised at how disappointed she was when he did. They were friends, that was all there was to it. She surprised herself how much she wished he would have said something different. She didn't want to be just friends. Why couldn't he understand that?

Because she had never said any different. Even last year, when he had asked what he was to her, she had said Friends. Best Friends. She hadn't said any more, so he had no reason to think she would want them to be more. She was afraid he wouldn't want there to be more, and she did not want to ruin their friendship. He was her best friend, for the time being at least.

"If I was your best friend, then why would you care if I kissed someone?" She hoped he would say it was because he wanted there to be more, but she highly doubted that. He had never said, or hinted, that he might want anything more than friendship.

"Damien, you are my best friend, you know that right? I like to think that I can confide everything in you, and...there is something I want to get off my chest but..." she trailed off. "I don't know," she whispered. She would really be taking a chance, and she was so conflicted. She could not break his gaze; he had captured her with his eyes.

Treyen asked him the very same question. Why did Damien care if Isobel kissed someone else? That was when his Hufflepuff Prefect declared that Damien thought if Isobel more than just a friend. Not that it wasn't possible, but Damien had always considered Isobel a friend -- nothing else had ever crossed his mind --

And here she sat, as innocent as ever. Asking him the very same question. Damien wasn't quite so sure he could give her a straight answer. Because he truly didn't know why.

He was, however, glad to hear that she thought of him as her best friend as well; and yet something panged in his chest that he couldn't place. Before anything of that could be processed, though, Isobel wanted to put their best friendship to use. Something she needed to tell him, but she looked so uncomfortable as her voice grew soft.

Searching her eyes, Damien gave her a smile and her hand a reassuring squeeze. "I'll never leave your side, Isobel," he said, Irish accent full force at this point. "You can tell me anything, and you don't have to worry."

"Never?" She couldn't help but speak the word aloud, no matter how soft her voice was. She wanted to know if he truly meant that, that he would stay by her even if he disagreed with what she was about to say.

She was afraid to say it, even though she had no idea how to put her emotions into words. She was afraid of what his reaction might be. She was afraid she might lose him as a friend. But she did not believe that last one; she knew Damien would stay true to what he said, he would stick by her.

"Damien I-" It was so hard to put her thoughts into words. She couldn't correctly phrase the jumble of emotions in her mind. "I don't know how to explain what I'm feeling. You promise that you'll always be my friend? You'll understand me? You-Damien I'm so conflicted!"

She gave in to her frustration and her emotions. Without consciously thinking about it she leaned toward him and did what she had wanted to do for a long time now. She kissed him, softly on the lips. She pulled back after a second, stunned at what she had done. She held his gaze with wide eyes full of..what? Compassion was the best she could describe it. Caring. She cared for him, and she was afraid of how he might react.

"Really?" Dallin laughed, although laughing probably wasn't considered 'romantic' in this sort of situation. He had mostly been joking about this being romantic, though. He had no idea what that even meant. Maybe if it made her think 'awww' or something. He'd have to ask her at some point. Just not right now.

He pulled her close, his laugh fading to a small smile. "This is fun," he said, his voice sounding slightly surprised.

The look in his eyes turned to confusion as Isobel attempted to arrange her thoughts into coherent sentences. He meant well; to simply reassure her that their bond was strong, and he would always be there for her no matter what. It seemed, however, to be making things more difficult for her to say.

And then, in the blink of an eye, she was closer to him than ever before -- her lips softly pressed on his for the first time. His heart raced, and the hand that held onto hers squeezed tighter for that brief moment. Damien couldn't think -- couldn't process. All that he'd realized was that Isobel VonHue kissed him.

Her eyes began searching his, and the only thing Damien could do for a moment was breathe. But even that was hard to do. He glanced down at their clasped hands, his fingers laced with his -- how perfect they seemed to fit together. A smile slowly played at the corners of his mouth as his eyes found hers again, and a light chuckle escaped as he scooted closer to her, anchoring his body to hers.

"Is that --" he coughed then cleared his throat with another chuckle. "Is that what you -- wanted to tell me?" he asked, eyes still fixed on hers.

Wait, why was he laughing? Ellie laughed too, because it wasn't super romantic. I mean, if there was a sunset and slow jazzy music playing, then sure the romance would have spiked up quite a bit. But still, just being there with him, floating above Diagon Alley was, "Romantic enough." Ellie said with a content smile.

When he pulled her close Ellie gladly leaned into him with a pleasant sigh and held onto him. "This is fun. More relaxing than I thought it would be." Apparently she wasn't as afraid of heights as she thought she would be. But she still didn't mind clinging to Dallin. Looking down on Diagon Alley reminded her of Hogwarts, and that school was starting soon. "Are you ready to go back?" Ellie asked him. It was a very non-directional question. She could have been asking about school supplies, or just emotionally. But she let Dallin decide which approach to take.

Another way to see the view? Mia was rather intrigued by this and wondered what he had in mind. She found it quite amusing that he could appear, in front of others rather cool and serious but he could be just as wacky as she was. "Ahh are we going to hang out in London for a couple of days?" That's probably not what he meant about the view but hey, since they were here and all. And she never really got to see any part of London except Diagon Alley.

Eh, of course he just had to comment about that. So she got a little excited about how far she would be able to see on the ferris wheel. Instead of answering him, she merely poked her tongue out at him.

Mia didn't fail to notice the look on his face when she paid the carnie lady and she shook her head. She didn't know why that should upset him. Girls paid for things all the time, besides that it was actually his money anyway. She had taken some out of his vault. He had given her a key after all.

Once they were inside the carriage, Mia took the goggles from him and immediately put them to her eyes and looked at him. "Woah! I can count all your nose hairs." She lowered the goggles and grinned. "Speaking of nose hairs. Did I tell you that I was polyjuiced as a boy during the term. He had a lot more nose hair then you." It had been rather disgusting.

''I think so'' said Luna ''The only thing about that Pres is we don't know her number.........'' Luna put her hand in her pocket in case she had her phone with her

''Damn I left my cellphone home... I mean your house we could have called her off it'' Luna frowned Okay now seriously it does not take that long to go tothe bathroom Luna thought

"I didn't give up" he glared over at Rose, "you do that" he said, he took off his jacket, folded it up into what ended up looking like a messy ball of blue and placed it under his head as he lay down, taking up both of the seats. It wasn't a great fit, he was extremely squished. "I think I prefer my own bed" he said.

"Yeah there's Irish, Bulgaria are still better, I've watched them play" he said, returning to the Quidditch talk. "What team?" he asked, she couldn't have meant Hogwarts. "I play it all the time" he said, whenever he was at home, the yard was always big enough for Quidditch, except most of the time he had to play alone when his friends weren't around, his dad was always busy.

Rose laughed. 'You so did give up!' Rose laughed as he glared. He totally did. He just can't get it!

'Someone told me Ireland one the Quidditch World Cup against them though...' Rose smirked. 'Gryffindor? At Hogwarts? Remember?' Rose said raising her eyebrows. 'I only play it in practice and in Hogwarts, we live surrounded by Muggles for me to play PROPERLY...' Rose told him.

"You don't know the meaning of it" Tyler replied.

"Yeah well..." she was telling the truth, Ireland had beaten Bulgaria in one of the most famous Quidditch matches. "Doesn't mean there any better" Tyler said, which was probably the best he could come up with. "Silly Leprechauns" he mumbled. "What?..." he stared at her with one of his well used confused expressions. "But you're a first year..." he said.

'Oh, don't I? Well, I know I've got more determination!' Rose stuck her tongue out again.

Rose rolled her eyes. 'Usually, when someone gets beaten, it means they're better?' Rose asked smirking. 'Aw, I LOVE Leprechauns!' Rose grinned. 'Yes? I'm a First Year? Well, I WAS a First Year, I don't know if you've noticed, but I'm now a Second Year' Rose grinned. 'What's wrong with being a First Year?' Rose asked cocking her head to the side.

Sean smiled at the girl. "Yeah I'm fine - just randomly running from a Ferris wheel 'cause I couldn't really decide whether or not I wanted to try it! That's kinda the bad side of being new"
"Are you aaaaa....." Sean thought for a moment; "4th year too? At Hogwarts?" he asked. They looked about the same age. If not, then hello awkwardness

He chuckled. Nice to know someone did it too. "Well if it works for you, maybe I should try it too? You know - until I'll probably hurt someone" The sad thing was, that it probably would go down that way. Ugh. Not good.
"It's good to meet you too! A bit odd way, but non the less, I'm glad it's you I bumped into" And he actually was. Cause -- how lucky do you get to be? He walks into someone, on his very first day out in a new city. And it was this really pretty girl, who didn't get mad at all. wiiin

"Feenella?" that's an... interesting name. "You wouldn't so happen to have a nickname? Feenella's quite long" he said and chuckled.
Sean looked away a smile on his face. "I don't know" he looked at the blonde girl in front of him. "Instinct, I guess?"

"Oh right... Says the one who didn't wan't to come on this ride and thought they were going to die. Please" Tyler shook his head.

"Not when they get beaten by the team who they 'beat'" he said, wondering if he'd made any sense to Rose, it sounded much less confusing in his head. "Ah second year" Tyler said, remembering how things were before now, before the train, before anything. "First years can't play" he said, he stared up at the sky, he wished the clouds would go away, he wished the day would go away, he wished it was night time just to see the moon and the stars. "Hey, when we get back to Hogwarts, we should go out when it's dark and see the crazy stuff they put out there at night" he said, he didn't think before he actually said it, he knew that'd be breaking the rules but he didn't care.

Rose glared at him. 'I've already told you whyI'm scared, that would be because of the bullies.' Rose growled. How could he stoop so low?

'Wait, what? Ireland won fair and square!' Rose said bluntly. 'Well, I was on the Team in my First Year, so they must've changed the rules?' Rose suggested. 'Yeah, I've always wanted to go out and just sit under the moons and stars... Why, what do they have out there?' Rose asked grinning. Whatever, rules were MADE to be broken!

"Whatever" Tyler muttered waving one of his hands about. This was only going to turn nasty if he didn't end it now.

Tyler laughed "nope, Ireland suck, face it, plus that match... There were a lot of dark forces around" he replied. "But that's..." he began, staring at Rose, it found it difficult to believe her but he just shrugged. "That's not what I meant" he said, the moon and stars were cool but he wouldn't break the rules just for that. He wanted an adventure, he wanted something to fight. "I don't know exactly, the stories my parents told me were always foggy" he said. "Things that defiantly are not human" he added. "I've always wanted to meet a Ghoul" he smiled at the thought.

Rose glared at him. If looks could kill... Rose thought smirking.

'Ireland do NOT suck!' Rose gasped mockingly. 'You're just upset that Ireland beat Bulgaria!' Rose whooped. 'But that's what? I dunno, I got on the Team, feel free to ask William...' Rose said smugly, remembering how jealous her ex had been when she had got on the Team and he hadn't. 'Well, I don't care.' Rose pouted. 'Well, yeah, I wanna see them too, but after, I AM going to watch the stars! I don't care if I get caught, so I should think you wouldn't either, if you're more "brave" than me?' Rose challenged. 'You don't have to join me, I bet others would!' Rose grinned, thinking of Mordred. He'd join her! She thought of the food he'd got her earlier. Yum!

"Believe what you want but you're only believing in a lie" Tyler said. "I won't waste my time arguing when the truth is clear" he added. Bulgaria were the best, that was simple, anybody who knew Quidditch knew that. "William?..." he thought that might be the captain but he was pretty sure it wasn't. "Be boring then" he said in response to Rose's need to watch the stars, boring. "Who was the one who mentioned the idea?" Tyler asked, of course he was beyond brave enough, it was like a walk in the park for him. He couldn't remember ever listening to rules.

Rose looked down to see they were approaching the bottom. Thank God, she thought, I NEED to get away from him before I go mad!

Rose smirked. 'Yeah, Bulgaria is the best... At getting BEATEN!' Rose laughed. 'Yeah, Willim, my ex.' Rose said bluntly. 'Boring? Oh, so, if it's not your idea, then it's boring?' Rose asked, trying not to lose her temper. Rose had QUITE a temper, and Tyler was activating it. Nearly there! Rose thought looking to the bottom. 'Right,' Rose said as they reached the bottom. 'Thank you for accompanying me, but I'd best go find Mordred...' Rose breathed as she got off. He got lucky this time, I didn't lose it! Rose thought as she paid the lady the money for going on. 'Nice seeing you Tyler!' Rose said plainly.

Presley hadn't thought about that. Her mum had been a muggle, and consequently Presley knew a lot about that way of life, but she still was not very familiar with it. She knew about phones, and how they worked, but things like having someone's number just never crossed her mind. But Luna had a cell, why didn't she have Rachel's number? Best friends always had that kind of stuff, right?
"Okay, but I'm really starting to freak out. Do you think maybe she's kidnapped or just lost?" Presley was working hard to keep her voice from sounding as panicked as she really was. Because if she sounded panicked, she'd become more panicked. She turned around and took two deep breaths, then looked back at Luna and Luna's cousin. "We're okay. Rachel will find us in a couple of minutes. It's just really crowded and she can't see us. Maybe one of us should stand on a bench. Or we could go find Leo, and he could help us."
