The Worple and Warmsley Magical Travelling CarnivalThe Worple and Warmsley Magical Travelling Carnival is here for the first time in Diagon Alley. Sponsored by all your favourite shops of Diagon Alley, the carnival is here for the summer! With magical rides and games, food stalls, knick-knacks and entertainment, this is a party for all ages that you won't want to miss.
Fancy a ride on the Magical Ferris Wheel? Only at Worple and Warmsley can you encounter a ferris wheel even taller than the London Eye. While the London Eye measures up to 443 feet, or 135 metres, our ride reaches an incredible 500 feet, or 152 metres. Each basket on the wheel has been enchanted to fit four people at a time; please do not attempt to squeeze in any more. Each basket is also equipped with one pair of sightseeing goggles for the curious rider to gaze out at the horizon that they tower above.
Please do not hang out of your baskets or rock them back and forth; we have taken many safety precautions and performed protective enchantments, but there is no guarantee that tomfoolery won't lead to endangerment.
Happy travels!
OOC: Feel free to interact with the Magical Ferris Wheel Carnie, Jean Lilliput (princess of*hp*), chat, play and please keep your hands and feet inside the basket at all times!
he smiled down at her . " I am so sorry my love." He said in a British accent. He loved her bright smile. The were at the front of the line now. " Dont be afraid im going to be right there with you the whole time." He said with a smile grabbing her hand hoping she wouldnt find it weird. He was fourteen hes hoping she was twelve or near there. He lead her onto the the cart and he waited to sit down before she did. " stars are just playing a game of hide and go seek." He said with a smirk.
she laughed and sat down. "My love? Really? Was the Britich accent really nessesary?" She said with a big smirk on her face. She could not believe dhes going on this ride. wow hes really cute she thought. wait why was she even thinking that. She shouldnt be thinkingg that. they just met. Hes also like 3 years older than her. Shes turning twelve in a week. They were just friends... just friends. she took a deep breath. " Im almost twelve not four i know the stars arent playing hide n seek silly. " she said smiling at him. the ride started going up.
She saw him looking down at her hand, which stung almost instantly, and Louisa's fears were drained when he kept his distance and said that she was pretty. For real. Even when he saw her in goggles. "I..don't know what to say," She said slowly. Really, what do girls say when someone say that? That she thought he was beautiful too? Probably no, he knew that he was anyways, his attitude proved it.
"Don't say he's silly!" She pouted at him. NO ONE was allowed to say that Dallin was silly! "He's just... he already has a girlfriend and that's it. It's my fault," And that was that. No more talking about that because Louisa was going to end this painful matter once and for all. "Sorry if I snapped at you, but it's a subject I don't want to talk about." Putting back her smile, "I really appreciate your compliment, Jwaw." Maybe his name sounded a bit funny at this touching moment but Louisa meant it, "And.. I'll appreciate it more if you give me some more time." for what she didn't really know yet. Maybe they used to compliment girls in Brazil all the time without having to mean anything... which might put her in an extremely embarrassing situation. Gulp.
Louisa put her goggled on her lap and nodded her head, "I have. It's awesome. I was a little girl when Jason took me, though, I don't remember much. Have you?" Please don't say that they're letting your father stay there for the day with his family. They didn't do that to anyone, right? Not even to super important people like Joao's father.
Joćo nodded understandingly, but opted for keeping silent. It was obvious she was pretty inexperienced in these matters. He would take it slow--in the limits of his patience, of course. He knew that there were tons of girls outside to fllirt with him. And he could wait only so much.
He raised an eyebrow as she snapped at him. Okaaay... someone was deep in love. Maybe he should just go for another girl. If she didn't let anyone talk ill of him, it would take longer for her to get over the boy. Nothing he couldn't take care, really, but still... he would debate whether she was worth his time later.
"No no, it's fine. Care to tell me how it is your fault?" That should also illuminate their relationship too. Then he could also figure out whether he needed to talk to the boy himself. Barely holding back a laughter although an amused smile crept across his face, he said "I only said I think you're pretty, anyway." He grinned in a friendly way. He had also noticed she didn't return the compliment. If that was the case, he didn't have any chance anyway.
Joćo smirked, hoping she didn't see that. Well, the Minister of Foreign Affairs himself had given them a tour of London on their first day, but he knew he shouldn't say that... yet. It could scare her off. Instead, she said "I visited the place too, when I first came here." That should please her.
"Take one last good view, because we're going down, I think," he said, trying to see every angle as they stood on the top for a moment before their descend.
" I would say it is too high for me, but we do fly brooms" Wiliam told Witsy." No, I would never scare you" Willaim said to Witsy."Everything will be fun on the ride" William explained to Witsy.
Strange brooms always felt safer because I was in control, the ferris wheel was huge, though. She thought. "Indeed we do," she said realizing how silly she was being. "I know you wouldn't but when Halloween comes around I look forward to it," she started laughing more.

" Yes, can you believe we fly broooms?" Willaim asked Witsy." Ok, be careful on Halloween" William said to Witsy. " I really know how to scare you, I will just be myself" William laughed.

Tell him? Louisa hesitated for a moment before smiling faintly, "It's nothing really important. I just let myself drift in my fantasies without seeing clearly." she was sorry to admit that at last, but it was the truth. Ellie, Vashti, Marina and even Adam all agreed to this and she might as well admit it to someone- and the less that someone knew the better. Just because.
Aaaaaaand a wince invaded her face as he almost shrugged his previous compliment off, "Oh. Okay. Umm.. sorry," So they did say to all girls that they were beautiful in Brazil or whatever the last country he was in. Was it why most boys escaped when she talked? Heh. It looks like it.
She turned her head to gaze out at the city, no goggles this time, and let her head carry her away. She so needed to get over Dallin and stop this leaping heart of hers whenever someone talked about him or when he popped up in her head just like that. There she was sitting in a basket up in the air with an attractive foreigner boy and she was already blowing this situation up. She rested her chin on her hand and stared out blankly.

Witsy gasped and slight punched William in the arm, "That's a horrible thing to say, why would you say that?!" She cracked up so loud she fall over laughing.

Joćo listened with interest, although her explanation wasn't really enlightening. So she didn't want to get into details. Well, figures, if she tried to forget him. She had just asked some time for that, and he would let her have it. So he shrugged, and said "Well, at least you see clearly now." Right? Even if she didn't really return the compliments; she at least didn't deny either and that meant she saw clearly enough to notice the others.
"Sorry for what?" He frowned, trying to think why she would be apologising. He said he'd give her some time--although he didn't exactly use that phrase, and as far as he knew, there wasn't anything he had snapped at. These Brisith were funny, I'm tellin' ya. They cared about being polite way too much.
"Any plans for the rest of the day?" he asked again as they were now descending, eyes set on the slowly falling city. He knew better than to be too fascinated though, because no wonder they'd be on the move next year to who-knew-which country.

That anything, of course, included going and seeing how high he could go.
As he kept watching her beauty, instead of the view around them, the Gryffindor's smile widened some yet only to turn back to its original form the moment he realised that she took that breath right after looking around. Riight. They were pretty high up right now. Yet was there something wrong? Was she scared? ''Are you okay?'' He could not tell, really. On the other hand it was her who wanted to get on this ride at first place. One with some fear of height would never do that, so he supposed he could relax.
And it was not hard to relax once she was seated right next to him. He leaned in to listen to what she was saying carefully. Ah, she wanted to try and see how high they could go. ''Yes.'' so Josh replied happily while wrapping her in his arms. ''Maybe up there, we can find a place for ourselves to stay together far from the crowd on the earth.''
However once he pronounced the last word another idea hit the Gryffindor boy. ''But it is said that there's no oxygen too high up there. I can't risk you for some...kind of showing off for my love.'' Maybe he could try himself, without risking her, then take her back if it was safe.
Was she okay? "Yea, I'm fine. Now." she replied, a sly smile on her lips. It was better to sit next to him than opposite him. Even in the summer heat like today.
Feeling rather snug and safe in his arms, she relaxed against him just a bit more, listening to his words. Hmmm, that actually sounded nice. A place away from people in general. Privacy. Just about to speak up, Josh continued on, saying something about there being no oxygen. Really? Huh, she never knew that. "You mean, with two wizards like ourselves, we can't think of a way to breathe up there?" she said in a teasing tone as she looked up to him.
Yet he had a point she supposed. "Perhaps not all the way up there then. Maybe on a...high mountain top, looking down on everything else." Quiet, secluded, and still air to breathe. Right? There was air on mountain tops, right?

Huh? Sorry for what? She smiled and shrugged one shoulder, "It's okay." She didn't want to recite their conversation because that'd mean that she was too nerdy or too interested and she didn't want to sound like neither. Not yet. "Nothing for the rest of the day. I have to go back to my room at the Leaky Cauldron though. Not allowed out after five in the evening, Marina might freak out," Louisa scoffed at her overprotective guardian.
"What about you?" She asked getting out of the basket and standing next to him, "I bet you're having a great day," She gave a small smile, far from a sad one as much as possible, "We should meet some more." Nodding her head and deciding that she should give Joćo a chance to release her from the jail call Dallin.

It was okay? What was okay? He knew he had been very careful not to break her heart, and now she first apologised then refused to tell what for! And to think he had learnt their behaviour after having 20 relationship so far in his life was obviously an idiocy--all were different, all were capable of giving a man headaches. Joćo stared at her for a moment, blinking. "Did I say something to hurt you, Louisa?" he asked softly. Yeah, he wanted an answer.
So she was returning back to Leaky... he could come, as well, no? Would that be pressing his luck too much? Considering she needed some time, plus he didn't want to look desperate; he decided that he would not follow. Instead, he'd do...
"I'll just check the rest of the carnival." He shrugged. Not that it intrigued him much, but he didn't have much to do. He smiled at her too, almost a grin. "How can one not have a great day when they have a pretty girl beside?" Really, she was clever, fun, and friendly... to a bearable extent, not too much. She was also beautiful--a perfect combination.
He nodded as their capsule touched the ground. Offering the operating man a smile, he waited for her go get off before he did, because it was only polite to do so.
"We should meet, yes," he said as they were both out now. "I'll write to you, yes?" Write the time and date, that is. Now, he took that as a 'I want to move on with you'. So she was interested in seeing him again; she just couldn't expressed it out loud. Good. That was a relief.
Taking a step towards her, he smiled. "I had fun today," he said, looking into her beautiful eyes for a moment. Then, without giving it much thought, he placed one hand on her cheek and kissed the other. "Obrigado--meaning thanks." He let his hand fall, expecting her to say her goodbyes too before seperating their ways.

Hurt her? No. Not in a way she was aware of, "You did not. I just thought you took insult when I asked for more time or not," She shrugged a shoulder again, "That's all right." Really, she didn't get hurt. Not the way she was when Dallin held Ellie's hand. Not even close.
Louisa giggled at the pretty girl comment, "Thanks. I don't know if I have to believe it too much but.." She calmed down and looked back at him as boldly as never before, "..I like it when you say it," It was great to have someone giving you all this attention and appreciation. Even if her heart wasn't fluttering the way it did with Dal's eyes on her, she was to take this chance.
And speaking of fluttering heart, his hand was on her cheek, which burnt at once, and his lips touched the other one. Her body went stiff as he thanked her and then dropped his hand. She swallowed and stared at him for a moment before realizing how big her smile was. "Wow. I didn't-" expect that, but she didn't continue because it was too stupid to say so she faked a cough and then pondered over kissing his cheek or not.
"Thank you, too. And I umm.. will wait for your owl," She nervously took a step closer and hugged him briefly while standing on her tiptoes. Yeah, she'd never kissed a boy on the cheek like that... and she might do that but not now. She needed to calm her heart down a bit. And get rid of this silly blush.

Somehow.
Their carriage was nearing the top and Mia let her gaze wander back over to the view while she thought about her conversation with her father and how he had pretty much begged her not to see her grandparents. But it was the last piece of the puzzle to her mother and she needed to finish the picture so to speak. Besides she was going to have Nik by her side so it shouldn't be too bad.
But then again...
She tore her gaze away from small buildings below and looked back at Nikolai. "Oh I've always wanted to try acting." she said in a weak attempt at humour. His advice sounded rather ominous and she didn't want to freak out just yet. "Don't worry Nik, I'll behave myself." Well she'll try at least.
Oh, the wink said so much.
Nikolai found himself rolling his eyes yet again. He wasn't even going to make a reply to that. Even though there were a few smart aleck remarks sitting on the tip of his tongue. She only wanted to hear him say he'd fight for her.
Was it wrong of him to tell her not to be herself around her grandparents? He was getting the feeling that it was, but he knew how those type of people were, and if he was talking to his parents, it would be the reason why he would never bring her to meet them. He knew they would say and do things to make her feel uncomfortable and unwanted, and he just didn't want Mia to have to go through that with her own family. Maybe he was judging them too quickly.
They would find out soon enough. This meeting was going to arrive rather quickly.
He managed a smile at her joke and turned his attention back to the view. They were always forgetting their camera. "You should just forget I said anything.." If her grandparents didn't like her for who she was, it would be a huge loss on their part.
And he supposed they should change the subject now. "So. Our holiday.."

Joćo was even more confused now. He took insult? He shook his head immediately to reassure her. Even if she said it was alright, he knew back in her mind it wasn't. He wanted her to know that he would give her that time. He could already see she was falling with him anyway. So his wait shouldn't be that long.
"You can have as much time as you need, Louisa," he said clearly to make that understood well. "I only wanted to say that I don't wait anything from you. You know that I find you very attractive, and that's all. For now." Was that good enough to solve it? It had to be. It was one of his best speeches up to date.
He stood smiling there as she looked at him differently too. He had an almost unbearable urge to kiss her there, but he wasn't from those fools who had no control over their body. Instead, he merely touched her hair for one second as if to move it out of the way to take a better view of her face and left it there without any additional, unnecessary words.
He chuckled in a good way over her surprised expression. She was clearly inexperienced in these stuff, and he liked the way how she got excited upon his one touch. Yeah, not to break her heart, he would take it slow. He didn't want her to regret any moment with him. His heart wasn't beating that hard, but still it got really excited when she hugged him. He briefly placed his hands on her back too, and while pulling back, he said "I'll send you one, shortly." He smiled at her again and said "Adeus," before turning to go her opposite way. It was always fun to turn to see if the other turned as well to steal one last glance.
Nikolai found himself rolling his eyes yet again. He wasn't even going to make a reply to that. Even though there were a few smart aleck remarks sitting on the tip of his tongue. She only wanted to hear him say he'd fight for her.

And he supposed they should change the subject now. "So. Our holiday.."
How could she possibly forget that? The reason she wanted Nikolai there besides the fact that she wanted her grandparents to meet the guy she had been seeing for the past two years, was that he had grown up in this kind of lifestyle. Mia was hoping that he would help guide her through this meeting, so that she didn't stuff it up too badly.
She had a feeling that she was not going to like her grandparents anyway especially after the way her father spoke of them. But if she can just find out about her mother than she probably won't bother seeing them ever again. Somehow though she didn't think it was going to be that easy.
Deciding to just let it go for now, Mia looked back out over the view. "It's totally breathtaking." she murmured, letting him know that she was happy to have the subject changed for now. With a smile on her face, she turned away from the view and looked into Nik's eyes. The best view of all. "You've thought of a place?"
Witsy gasped and slight punched William in the arm, "That's a horrible thing to say, why would you say that?!" She cracked up so loud she fall over laughing.
" Ouch, that hurt" Willaim told Witsy playfully. " You are so mean to me" Willaim teased Witsy laughing." I knew you would take my joke because you are a great girlfriend" William said to Witsy. He hugged her. "Are you looking forward to school?" William asked Witsy.

Nikolai smiled, glad that Mia was okay with changing the subject. He hated to see her worrying over this, and he figured the more she worried, the worse the meeting with her grandparents would go. He hoped he was wrong, but it was highly doubtful. Those type of people, he was sure, could smell fear, worry, and nervousness.
He sighed as she commented about the view, and he was sort of wishing they could have stayed up there a little longer. But of course they couldn't, and he sighed again as they began to move down. Back to the boring streets of London. He never would like that place..
His smiled widened as he met her gaze, and leaning forward, he pressed his lips to hers lightly before pulling away to answer her question. "Well, you remember how much fun we had on the beach during your spring break?" Yes, Mr. I-don't-like-the-heat Ognian was asking her to go to a beach. But not just any beach. "How about somewhere like.. Fiji?"

It was still romantic.
His kisses could always make her worries disappear. Mia closed her eyes briefly as she savored the feel of his warm, soft lips against hers and only opened them again when he spoke.
Well besides the couple of hiccups, yeah she supposed they'd had fun during Spring Break. She wasn't likely to forget it in a hurry that's for sure. But she merely nodded her head at him in answer to his question because she didn't quite trust herself to speak at the moment.
"Are you serious?" She had heard that Fiji had some really beautiful beaches and it was always warm there. Throwing her arms around him, Mia gave him a tight hug. "You are the absolute best Nikolai."

He knew to take that for a yes, right?
Nikolai was not even going to think about those not-so-fun parts of spring break. He had done a fine job forgetting them, and he liked to keep it that way.
His smile stayed on his face, and he was almost tempted to tell her that he was only kidding. Why would he bother bringing it up if he wasn't serious? Mia should know that about him by now. But he figured she was just excited, and as her arms went around him, he didn't hesitate to do the same to her. "I am very serious." Just in case she still wasn't sure. Although, he didn't need her to tell him her answer. He was very sure that meant yes. "And I already knew that about me." Hehe.
Pulling back some, he kissed her lightly once more.
"We can leave Monday. The day after meeting your grandparents if you want." Because, Merlin. After that meeting, they were going to need a vacation.

Oh Merlin!!
They were going to Fiji!! This was so exciting. Mia thought that she would get used to travelling by now, since she had now been to Russia and Paris and now she was off to Fiji, but she had the feeling that she was going to get excited every single time. Imagine what she was going to be like next year when they traveled the whole world.
She was so excited that she didn't even bother to make a smart aleck comment about his egotistical comment about himself. Because right now he was the BEST!
Oooh and she was getting more kisses too. Mia was really liking this ferris wheel ride. She didn't even care about the view anymore. "Of course I want." They were going to Fiji. In four days! "I love you!" And this time she kissed him.

Rather passionately.
It always made him smile when he saw how excited Mia would get from the things he would give her. And it was usually the things that he thought were no big deal, like going to Fiji on vacation, that would cause her to get the most excited over.
She was far too cute sometimes.
His arms stayed around her, not wanting to let her go just yet, and he couldn't help but chuckled as she seemed to not care about the view anymore. At least they were able to see it from the very top, that was what Mia wanted to do in the first place, right?
Her excitement was infectious, and considering he was dreading the weekend because of this meeting with her grandparents, he couldn't wait for it to arrive now. And even if things did go wrong, at least this vacation would take her mind off of it. "Good. I'm glad." He didn't even get to tell her the best part about their trip, and once her lips were back on his, he couldn't remember what the best part was.
He returned the kiss, just as passionately, and after a few moments, he had to pull away. "I love you, too."

She hadnt enjoyed her last ride on a ferris wheel? Now that had to be the woooorst ferris wheel ever. The rides were soo cool and you could seee so much.Kinda romantic actually."I am sure you will enjoy it",the Slytherin nodded happily. How could someone be this cute?Ari was soooo squishable."You never have to be afraid when i am around",the fourth year said,"whenever you have something you want to tell.I am there."The blonde wanted to be like a bigger sister to Ari,it was important to have someone you could go to.
Ari was happy to see Fee again and be able to tell her everything, starting with her vacation. 'We've been to Cardiff and Newport; there's a lot of history in those places, but also seaside, so we had a great time. I'd love to go again. How come you stayed home this summer?' Fee seemed like the adventurous type, so the little one was rather surprised that she didn't travel anywhere.'At least I pray we get to have real DADA lessons.' Ari nodded, annoyed at the fact that they had Borr as a Professor in her first year.
'I wish so, but I think it's a bit scary up there. However, what kind of a Gryffindor would I be if I didn't confront my fears?' Hopefully she'll manage to do that without screaming. 'Thank you, I know I can. You can tell me anything too, for what it's worth.' Ariadne smiled merrily.

She wanted to get off the ride now. They had things to do. Bags to pack. But then again they were going to Fiji, they probably wouldn't need to pack that much. Just lots of bathing suits. And it was just dawning on her that Nik wasn't that keen on the hot weather but yet he was willing to take her somewhere that she was more comfortable with.
Well next time when it was her turn to pick the destination of their holiday. She intended to pick somewhere that he would enjoy. Maybe they could go skiing in the Alps or something?
With a smile on her face as he pulled away, Mia kissed the end of his nose. "I wanna see you climb a coconut tree." That would be so awesome if he did that. "So are we going to have our own private beach?" Because that would be really awesome.
So busy talking to Nik, she hadn't realised that their ride was coming to an end. She slipped her hand into his and gave it a squeeze. "Let's go feed that belly of yours and then we can head on home if you want?"

If Mia didn't have real reason to go visit her grandparents, Nikolai would have tried to talk her out of going to see them. But, no matter how excited he was to get to Fiji, he would never ask her to do that when it was dealing with her mother. It was important to her, which it should be, and those four days would arrive quickly. They could always find things to do that would pass the time.
Like.. shopping for things for Fiji.
That would, not only pass the time, but it would keep Mia occupied enough where she didn't have to think about the meeting.
His eyebrows raised at her comment about him climbing a coconut tree. "Why do you want to see me do that?" That was.. really, very random, and if he didn't love her so much, he wouldn't have even considered it. The things he did for her.. "Yup. Our own private beach." he grinned at her before adding, "The island that we'll be staying on is shaped like a dragon." How awesome was that!?
He also didn't realize the ride was over, and only when she took hold of his hand and gave it a squeeze did he glance out of the carriage. Oh.. that was a quick ride. Opening the door, he slipped out, and helping Mia out as well, he tugged her towards the food cart. "We don't have to leave if you don't want to. You really wanted to be here."
Renesmee was too facinated about the Carnival to be thinking about anything at all, but thats what she needed. She needed to keep her mind blank, she needed a break. She continued walking wlooking for something interesting to do. Out of nowhere she saw a gigantic ferris wheel. It was huge definitely not the same as a muggle one. She stared at it with her mouth open. It was high up probably ten times bigger and higher then the usual. It looked like awsome fun though."Look at that Puffles." she said to her pygmy puff, that was sitting on her shoulder.
Since she loved hights she decided to give the ferris wheel a try. She stood in the line, Puffles still on her shoulder. Her pygmy puff seemed a little nervous. She picked him from her shoulder and put him in her hands, trying to make him feel safer. She looked around trying to spot somone she knew, she felt a little embarressed being all alone. Spotting no one, she carried on standing in the line.
Tom could safely say he had never seen anything like Diagon Alley before, let alone the magical carnival, in his whole life! Then again, he hadn't seen much more then the concentrate tower blocks of the estate he lived on in London.
He was wandering along, staring up at the MASSIVE ferris wheel. It looked bigger than the pictures of the London Eye he had seen. He dug in his pocket and pulled out a small fistful of silver and frowned as he peered down at it. Wizarding money was really confusing. He wasn't even sure he had enough to go on the wheel. And such luxuries were EXPENSIVE in the muggle world. Too expensive for a lad of Tom's means.
He came to halt behind a smaller girl and he frowned at her back as he looked at her. He then reached out a hand, and patted her on the shoulder which didn't have a really peculiar looking creature sitting on it. O___O
Nodding, rather coyly, at him she was convinced that he was going to be her rescuer from being so pathetic. Dallin was still in her head but she hadn't mentioned his name or thought about what he was doing at the moment the whole time she was with this new friend. That was a progress, right?
She didn't move at first when he retreated, but then she made herself turn around and walk a few steps before taking a quick glance above her shoulder to see him walking away confidently. Louisa did notice how his rather stuck-up attitude attracted her, she needed someone that confident to like her. It meant a lot and the most important meaning that she thought of at the moment was that she was pretty enough to get this boy's attention. He even agreed to give her some time to.. see where their attraction might lead them.
Another glance over her shoulder showed no Joćo, and her face slightly fell at that. Because when Joćo was not around, Dallin certainly was going to burst in and destroy this new era of her feelings.
