Blimey, this guy was a smiler, wasn't he? Ainsley wasn't sure if this was a good or a bad thing. He seemed a bit too... keen. Ermm... errm... "I like your hat. I got one just like that." Which could possibly give off the impression that she was a tomboy. But nah, she didn't like to stereotype herself. She was just awesome, plain as.

"Nice to meet you, too!" This boy seemed really nice. Ainsley hadn't met a nice boy since she was eight. Bailey Pichler. Pretty cool name, yo. Was she going to Hogwarts? Errr, duuurrh! "Noooo, I'm off to Beauxbatons but I thought I'd come buy my stuff from England instead of France." She wondered if the French actually did have a place like Diagon Alley... Well, they must do, obviously. For some reason, she thought it would probably be a bit more classy there.
Hmm..

Lost in thought for a moment, Ainsley shook off her last sarcy comment and smiled. "Jokin' with ya. I'm starting Hogwarts this year. A Fifthy." Fifth year, she meant.

She tried so hard to close her slightly open mouth because it was the very first time someone called her cute in that tone- the one which you blush at not because you're so babyfaced or anything but because you might be beautiful. That was what Louisa felt. She sat back down, one arm still hanging from the edge of the basket. When João joked, she sighed relieved and giggled too, "I don't really think you're serious." She said without meaning it very much.

For starters, Louisa Carter never really saw boys the way other girls did. She always had fights with them- well, not real fights but arguments and such. Second, her eyes only saw Dallin the end of last term only to know that he considered her as a little friend and he had a pretty girlfriend to cling to. Last, this boy was... making a move on her? Like, for real? Why? He didn't know her yet. After a long moment of thought, she spoke, "Do you really think that I'm.. kind of good looking?" Ignore the blush and slight stutter, "Because there's someone who really doesn't notice me that way," forcing herself not to pout.

N'aaaw, hadn't he sounded sincere enough? João chuckled, wetting his lips before saying "I was very serious. I just didn't want you to feel... intimidated." He smiled again, eyeing her hand for a moment. Nah, he wasn't going to hold it... yet. She had to gain her confidence first before he took another step.

Cocking his head to the side again, he stared into her eyes for a moment. She had some great confidence issues there. He had to fix that first before he got onto the next stage. "I don't think you're kind of beautiful, Louisa," he said in a serious tone, pausing for a moment to give her the full effect. "I think you're pretty." Really, he could lose himself in her blue eyes. He yearned to touch her hair, but he refrained from doing it. No, she still needed some time...

Oh. He leaned back in an instant as she pretty much revealed there was someone else that didn't notice her. Always. At least, this someone wasn't a boyfriend... on the contrary, the boy didn't even notice her.

"I can only say he is really silly," he spoke carefully, pausing for a moment to form his next sentence. "But now you know there is someone else that took notice of your beauty." He grinned, before raising his googles a little. Time to change the topic.

"Have you seen the Buckingham Palace there?"

Maybelle stayed silent for the rest of the ride, she kissed Jake's cheek every now and then, but for the most part they snuggled on the seat. When they got to the very top, Maybelle began to freak out slightly. She gripped Jake's arm, afraid if she moved too much, they'd fall. Jake had reassured her, though. And now, they were safely on the ground. "Well, I guess that wasn't so bad." She laughed, at her comment. She saw Isobel and Damien. "Isobel! Damien! Wait up!" She called to them.

Isobel jumped when she heard her name. She turned around and saw Maybelle running toward her and Damien. She smiled and stopped walking. She waited until Maybelle got over to them; she couldn't turn around because her hand was still locked firmly in Damien's.

"Hey Maybelle," she said. She didn't think it was possibly for her to stop smiling that day, not when she had the warmth of Damien's hand in hers. "Were you on the Ferris Wheel? Were you with Jake?" She probably was, and Isobel glanced toward Damien with an amused smile on her face, Jake was her brother and Damien was her...boyfriend. She was sure that would be interesting.

Jake laughed when they were at the top of the ride. "I told you, I'll keep you safe, you're not going to fall." He said, stroking her bright red hair. He kissed her forehead. "This is quite romantic actually." He said, looking out at the beautiful sky, then looking down at Maybelle, who was just as-if not more-beautiful. They walked off the ride, and Jake laughed once more. "Yes, says the person who clung to me when we were at the top of the ride." He said, seeing Isobel and that boy named Damien. He took Maybelle's hand and started running towards them.

Hearing her words he touched his baseball cap which was backwards, the way he always wore it."Oh? Really? Aren't you cool?"He said. Obviously this one wasn't the girly sort, the kinda girls he was usually used to. Most girls would have flipped out about a hat messing with their hair or something, at least...the girls at Beauxbatons would have. It was a nice change, nice to see a girl that cared about more than her looks.

He beamed, raising a thick eyebrow in the process. Beauxbatons?"Well, why are you here then?"Bailey kept his eyebrow raised as he spoke, no one at Beauxbatons came here to shop at least no one that he knew did."After all, apparently our wizarding shops in France at the best..."At least, that's what he heard from the girls. Hehh. Diagon Alley was nice though, Bailey had no complaints, it was a bit more...low key than the shopping places in France and back home. Back home meant Monaco, in case you were curious.

Hahhh. At least she admitted it."Figured."He shrugged, looking her way."This is my...first year here, I went to Beauxbatons for a bit...."And got kicked out, and ended up here. He wasn't a rebel or anything, not ANYMORE anyway.

Maybelle laughed when Isobel jumped. "Hey, Isobel." She said, smiling. She felt Jake's hand slip into hers. "Well yes I'm here with Jake, yeah I was on the Ferris whe-" She stopped talking when she looked down to see Isobel and Damien HOLDING HANDS!! "Why are you holding hands with Damien?" She asked, not quite getting the obvious.

Awww Ari had missed her too? Now that was sooo cute really,the little lion really had gained a place in her heard.And now she already was a second year.Time flew by."Ohhh where have you been on vacation?",the blonde asked smiling,"i hope you had fun."Fee had been on vacation four years in a row and she was kinda glad to stay here and rock Diagon Alley for this summer."Oh yeah you always miss Hogwarts when you're not there",the girl nodded,"i cant wait to go back.Hopfully we get some new teachers."The ministry ones where terrible.

She hadnt enjoyed her last ride on a ferris wheel?Now that had to be the woooorst ferris wheel ever.The rides were soo cool and you could seee so much.Kinda romantic actually."I am sure you will enjoy it",the Slytherin nodded happily.How could someone be this cute?Ari was soooo squishable."You never have to be afraid when i am around",the fourth year said,"whenever you have something you want to tell.I am there."The blonde wanted to be like a bigger sister to Ari,it was important to have someone you could go to.

She saw him looking down at her hand, which stung almost instantly, and Louisa's fears were drained when he kept his distance and said that she was pretty. For real. Even when he saw her in goggles. "I..don't know what to say," She said slowly. Really, what do girls say when someone say that? That she thought he was beautiful too? Probably no, he knew that he was anyways, his attitude proved it.

"Don't say he's silly!" She pouted at him. NO ONE was allowed to say that Dallin was silly! "He's just... he already has a girlfriend and that's it. It's my fault," And that was that. No more talking about that because Louisa was going to end this painful matter once and for all. "Sorry if I snapped at you, but it's a subject I don't want to talk about." Putting back her smile, "I really appreciate your compliment, Jwaw." Maybe his name sounded a bit funny at this touching moment but Louisa meant it, "And.. I'll appreciate it more if you give me some more time." for what she didn't really know yet. Maybe they used to compliment girls in Brazil all the time without having to mean anything... which might put her in an extremely embarrassing situation. Gulp.

Louisa put her goggled on her lap and nodded her head, "I have. It's awesome. I was a little girl when Jason took me, though, I don't remember much. Have you?" Please don't say that they're letting your father stay there for the day with his family. They didn't do that to anyone, right? Not even to super important people like Joao's father.

Huh... pfffftt! "The coolest!" Ainsley clarified, then lent forwards to pull off his hat. After examining quickly, she put it on her head and pouted like a right rock star. "Look good, right?" Yea, she wasn't going to deny the facts. She may not be a blonde, tanned barbie doll, but she did appreciate her looks. Although, she knew better not to milk it any further. People wouldn't like self-obsessed girls like Ainsley!

"'our wizarding shops'? Are you from France or somethin'?" If so, then she must of missed the accent. But maybe the French accent had changed over the years, she wasn't one to follow those types of things, to be honest. Ahaaa, he was from France! He went to Beauxbatons! That was preetty darn cool. "Awesome. Why'd ya leave, if you don't mind me askin'?" Last time she checked, that school was a lot more upper class than Hogwarts.

Just then, the Ferris Wheel began to move and Ainsley literally bounced up and down on her seat. "This is gooood, ennittt!" Beam beam.

The coolest? Oh, he didn't believe THAT one bit. He stared at her before firmly shaking his head."Impossible, love because *I* am the coolest."He shrugged, beaming a bit. Wasn't it obvious that he was just the coolest of cool? Apparently not to her. Hehh."HEY!"He whined, pouting as she took his hat off his head. He felt naked now, the boy practically ALWAYS wore a hat it felt...weird not wearing one. "I look better in it."He smirked though really she didn't look BAD. He grabbed the hat and put it back on his own hat, huffing. Silly girl! You aren't SUPPOSED to mess with boys' hats, don't cha know?

France? Aha, no."Monaco, actually..."Which was right next to France and he spoke French but was he french? Nahh. He wasn't even sure why he had said our.MEh. Whatever, it didn't matter. And now she was asking THAT question, the question Bailey had honestly been hoping to avoid. His face fell and he shrugged,"I...got kicked out..."And no, Miss Ainsley, he wasn't going to go into full detail if she asked why he got kicked out.

SNOOOOORT.

Bailey just stared, chuckling at the girl.

"I suppose, yeah..."He watched her, scrunching his face up,"Has anyone ever told you your a little over excited?"Not that it was a BAD thing, Bailey certainly had no problem with it, heck he wished he could be like that sometimes.

Witsy remained in line, feeling a bit jittery. She had never been on a ferris wheel before, she was glad William was there for fun and support.

" how high does this Ferris Wheel go?" William asked Witsy. " Bet we can look over the whole place" Willaim said to Witsy." You know what is cool is when they leave you at the top for a few seconds" Willaim explained to Witsy.

Honestly, Ainsley was not expecting any back chat in this conversation. People should be instantly reminded that she was queen of cool, okay? Eyebrows raised, the brunette eyed Bailey up and down. "You? The coolest?" She laughed, not in a mean way. A banterish way. Woah, cheesus! Somebody was clearly very protective of their items! "It's just a hat, dude. And it does look hot on me, don't deny it." Ainsley didn't fight back much, and just let him have the bloody hat back. "Big girl." She muttered.

Monaco, ooooh. "Sounds lovely." Why on Earth would he come to England? Meh. That was a question that she'd have to ask every foreigner who came here. "You got KICKED out?!" Suddenly the conversation was becoming more interesting. "Why? What's the goss?" DO TELL.

His staring and chuckling made her slightly uncomfortable. So she stopped her hyperactivity and shuffled around in her seat.
Errrrm... awkward.

"Umm.. I have been told that, actually, yes..." She said, in a rather mellow tone. It wasn't something to be ashamed of, but yeah, sometimes she did go a bit over-board. That's why everyone back home thinks of her as a freak. They are all too posh to understand what goes through Ainsley's weird little brain.

"It's a little over 500 feet, so I hear." Her eyes traced the height of the enchanted wheel. She felt shivers run through her back. "Are you trying to scare me?" she said teasingly. She was trying to be tough about it. It was only a ride that went in circles... right.

Ohhh! Oh, oh, oh!

A ferris wheel.

Despite the fact that Ferris wheels were rather slow-moving, the idea of riding in one of the gondolas seemed somewhat exciting just because of the sheer height. Hmmm. Now, Brynn needed a partner, and..... who better than Miss Cassie Storm?!

"CASS!" The brunette looped her arm around her best friend's and grinned sweetly. Perhaps too sweetly..

"Wanna go on the Ferris wheel?"

Cassie nommed some more of her cotton candy but felt her free arm suddenly tangled in her best friend's arm. What was this????? She was having candy here Brynn Pierce. Whiney whiney.

"Brrrrrrrrryyyyn.." She drawled in her best 'I'm doing something here this better be good voice.""I'm having candy," and she had just had corn on the cob and tasted some other things she hadn't had in a while. One day of spoiling herself wouldn't hurt her right?

Sweet smile from Brynn? Yeah the girl wanted something but what did she want? Oh right the ferris wheel.

Had she not gotten over her fear of heights when she tried out for the quidditch team, perhaps she would be running in the opposite direction but she had and Brynn was her best friend so she would go along with it."There's no chance of me throwing up is there?" She asked eyeing her best friend.

Brynn ignored her best friend's whining and moaning and, instead, began sneakily tugging her closer towards the Ferris wheel. "Cotton candy, Cassandra? You are choosing cotton candy over a ride with moi?" She shook her head. "I won't stand for this." And, naturally, she didn't. Because of course her bestie would comply eventually!

The girl had just managed to pull Cassie all the way over to the ride when suddenly she mentioned vomitting. Brynn threw her a look. "You are not vomming on me or anywhere in my vicinity," she deadpanned. BLEHHH! Gross. "Good thing you're over your fear of heights!"

It appeared that Isobel and Damien were getting a bit of company; in the form of Isobel's best friend Maybelle, and her boyfriend. Whom Damien immediately remembered was Isobel's brother. The Hufflepuff began to wrack his brain if he could remember any details regarding Jake's age and year in school. If he were the same age or younger, that'd be better. Granted if he were older it would only be by a year. And Damien was sturdy enough -- skinny, but sturdy. He could handle anything that came his way --

Even if that meant an irate brother.

And then lovely Maybelle decided to broadcast to the entire population waiting in line for a seat on the Ferris Wheel that Damien and Isobel were, indeed, holding hands.

"Don't believe we've been propperly introduced yet," Damien said, attempting to cut Maybelle off and address Jake. "Damien Murray," he added, extending his free hand out in greeting. "Sixth-year Hufflepuff."

There. What threat could be detected in that?

Jake smiled at Maybelle, she was so silly. He looked at his sister. "Yeah, me and Maybelleina over here were up in the..." His voice trailed off, looking when Maybelle mentioned hand holding other than theirs. Ooh...this kid was going to get some big brother action. He shook Damien's hand, "Jake Newman, Sixth-year Ravenclaw, Isobel's brother." He made that very clear. He wanted to say, "You hurt her or lay a hand anywhere but in hers, I would be watching your back." But, decided against it, seeing as things could become messy.

He turned to Isobel, "So, how long has this 'Damien' boy been with you?" He asked, looking at Damien with his be careful face.

o_O Daphne gazed out of the basket and almost screamed! Eeeep! They were really high up now. Um. She immediately turned away from that sight and faced Macy. "Oh, great. So, how is Hogwarts? I mean, I've heard it's great but I'd like to know what you think.." Hogwarts was like the most popular magic school and obviously, it had to be amazing but yeah..she'd like to hear what Macy had to say.

"Cool. I'm starting sixth year." She felt so old. Yeah, she was just 16 but still..just a couple of years to go before she turned 18! Woot!

Hehe...

Mia knew very well that Nikolai would stick up for her, it was one of the reasons why she loved him so much. But they semed to have this thing where they just needed to hear the other one say it out loud. "I should think so." she teased, tossing him a wink. Of course she would do the same for him.

Somehow.

Their carriage was nearing the top and Mia let her gaze wander back over to the view while she thought about her conversation with her father and how he had pretty much begged her not to see her grandparents. But it was the last piece of the puzzle to her mother and she needed to finish the picture so to speak. Besides she was going to have Nik by her side so it shouldn't be too bad.

But then again...

She tore her gaze away from small buildings below and looked back at Nikolai. "Oh I've always wanted to try acting." she said in a weak attempt at humour. His advice sounded rather ominous and she didn't want to freak out just yet. "Don't worry Nik, I'll behave myself." Well she'll try at least.

" I would say it is too high for me, but we do fly brooms" Wiliam told Witsy." No, I would never scare you" Willaim said to Witsy."Everything will be fun on the ride" William explained to Witsy.

Cassie snickered quietly. Well when Brynn put it that way of course it sounded bad, but of course that was NOT what she was doing. She just wanted to enjoy her cotton candy. She hadn't eaten junk food in forever so when she did she liked to enjoy it to the fullest."You know I'm not doing that....I just want to have my candyyyyyyyyyyyy.." More whiney whiney. Cassie sighed and didn't put up a struggle as Brynny Bun tugged her over towards the ferris wheel.

She laughed at the look that Brynn threw her way. had Cassie ever vommed in public? She couldn't remember ever doing that and figured it would be most disgusting and embarrassing, not because Brynn was there, because other people would be there too. Le sigh."Good thing for YOU, now we have to get on a bloody ferris wheel." Really Brynn those things didn't even go fast."Alright, lets bat our lashes and move to the front of the line." Yeah when you were this gorgeous you didn't wait in lines. And now Cass was doing the tugging.
