Pfft. Mia still wasn't believing him. Well, Nikolai would just have to show her, that was all. As soon as they were finished at the carnival, they would go home and pack, then he would show her exactly where they were going. Which meant he only had a little while longer to decide. Although, one place did come to mind right away.. and it was gone as soon as her lips met his. Kissing her back, there was a smirk to match hers as she pulled away and spoke. "I may be able to find someone like you. Just won't be able to find someone who kisses like you." And he liked Mia kisses.

Yup, Nik was going to put all the fault on the boy. Besides his thoughts about how Mia could do no wrong, if it was that important, where the boy didn't want her to speak to certain people, he would have chased after her to tell her. Or something like that. He really wasn't too happy with the idea of Mia being polyjuiced in the first place.

He raised an eyebrow at how quickly she took the goggles from him, but there was a grin on his face. Shouldn't the carriages come with more than one pair? It was a good thing he didn't really want to look through them; he'd have a hard time getting them off her. He shrugged his shoulders at her question and continued to look out down at the food cart. "Well, you did drag me out here, you know? I didn't get a chance to eat before I left."

And, she should know that he had went quite a few times without food. Sometimes there were too many distractions.

And here she thought that she was one of a kind. But according to Nikolai, he would be able to find someone like her which of course wiped the smirk off her face. He always had an answer for everything. Although he just made up for it by complimenting her on her kisses and she waggled her eyebrows at him. "That's because I've had plenty of practice." Mmmhmm he was a very good kisser.

The ride continued to go higher into the air and with the goggles pressed to her eyes, Mia was able to see further and further, passed the city, she was sure that she could see glimpses of green where the country towns were. She lowered the goggles when Nik spoke and she gave him an amused look. "I swear we're going to have to pack you some food for emergencies." Hadn't he realised yet, that she didn't tend to stay still for long and at a moments notice will just get up and go somewhere.

"So I stopped in at home after I got back from the safari and dad and I had a long talk." She began playing with the goggles while she bit on her bottom lip. Her father had told her that Nik knew the whole story so she felt confident that he would understand. Right? "He told me all about my grandparents and what they're like. So I think I should meet them and gain my own opinion of them." She looked at him. "Will you come with me?"

Ohh..

Nikolai noticed the smirk disappear from her face, and he hoped she knew that he was only kidding about finding someone else like her. He didn't think that was even possible, and really. Even if there were, what would he care? It wasn't like he would go looking for them. But it seemed she didn't mind his joke and he gently nudged her at her comment. "I do hope you are talking about practices with me."

Jokes. He had a bunch of them at the moment.

As the ride moved higher, the food cart on the ground got smaller. He could feel his stomach practically begging for food, but that was just going to have to wait. Were they even at the top of he ferris wheel yet? He didn't think so. Groaning to himself, he tore his gaze from the ground and turned back to Mia. "Or.. maybe I could just summon something from the cart down there." Hehe, he would like to see the look on the worker's face if that happened.

All thoughts of food left his head, though, once Mia began talking about her father. He wasn't sure where they stood with eachother yet. He didn't really like to bring that topic up with her; he didn't want to upset her. But he was very glad that she had spoken to him and wrapping his arm back around her, he gave her a small smile. "What are your grandparents like?" If she wanted him to go with her and all..

"But of course, Mia. You shouldn't have to ask me. I will go with you."

Well...see now that comment was just begging for a smart aleck retort and really how could she possibly let it pass by. Placing a finger to her lips, Mia pretended to really think about it. "Well actually, I've been meaning to tell you..." She poked him in the stomach with her finger before giving him a chaste kiss. "Of course I am talking about you." He was the only she wanted to be kissing.

That caused her to raise her eyebrows and her amusement grew. "I somehow think they might have thought about that. No doubt they have some sort of protection." It's what she would do if she owned a stall. Kids could be cheeky little buggers and Nik too apparently, but she already knew that, it's why they got on so well and why she loved him so much. "You think you can hold out for just a little bit longer?"

When he wrapped his arm back around her, Mia rested her head on his shoulder. "Dad says they're into all the pureblood stuff. They only associate with certain people and do things in a certain way." She shrugged her shoulders because she really didn't understand what that meant. "They want to meet me and I'm kinda nervous about it." Terrified was more like it but she didn't want to freak him out as well.

She breathed a sigh of relief when he said he would go with her. "Good. Because they're expecting us on Sunday for lunch."

To say Nikolai was not expecting that comment would have been a lie. He had walked right into it, and it wouldn't be Mia if she hadn't taken that jab at him. He grinned at her, though, he liked how they could tease eachother like that, and no feelings would get hurt. "Good." he murmured after she kissed him again. "You wouldn't like what I would have to do to that other person." He went to Durmstrang, after all.

He was almost tempted to take another peek down at the food stand. But he decided against it. Just seeing the food down there would make him even hungrier. "I'm sure I could break whatever protection is on it." It was the hunger talking. He gave her a smile at her question, and distracted himself by looking straight ahead at the shrinking scenery. "Yes, Mia. I can hold out." Although, he would have liked to see her reaction if he would have said no.

Oh..

Nikolai's face fell completely at the mention of how her grandparents were. He knew all too well about those types of pureblood families, and if they weren't part of her family, he would have tried to talk her out of visiting them. And it was her decision if she wanted to or not. "You.. don't have to go, you know?" Which sounded odd coming from his mouth after telling her she had to go to school. But it wasn't hard to tell it wasn't only nervousness she was feeling.

And it seemed she was really going to go. Wrapping his other arm around her, he gave her a squeeze and cuddled into her more. "Everything will be fine, Mia." He hoped.

Abbie walked back over to Luna and another girl Rachel obviously ''Sorry Lu just got popcorn'' she gave Luna one then she gave one to Rachel and held the third one for Presley and ate some of her own

''Hi i'm Abigail or Abbie Luna's cousin and you must be Rachel right Luna told me about you!'' said Abbie and she smiled at Rachel ''Hey where'd Presley go?'' Abbie asked

Oh? This reminded her of when she had told him about Salander and he had gotten all macho and possessive. She wasn't into violence and she was pretty sure that Nik really wouldn't do anything but she had to admit that she did like to hear him talk like that. "You gonna fight for your woman, Nik?" Mia couldn't imagine him doing anything like that, maybe because he was so gentle with her but then again he probably wasn't always like that.

Mia couldn't help but laugh. "Goodness you must really be hungry." She was rather used to that. She had never known anyone to eat so much. Although she didn't really think that he would be able to get through the protection. He would probably get exhausted from the hunger.

She noticed the look on his face and she mentally kicked herself for being so tactless about it. Since he had told her about his being disowned, they never really talked about his family. "I know I don't but...I need to. I never got to know my mum." She took in a shaky breath. It still made her sad to think of her mother. "I'd like to see where she grew up and I want to hear stories about her." Her father had told her what kind of woman Josephine had been. Mia wanted to hear what kind of child she had been and if she took after her at all.

She gave him an appreciative smile. "What could possibly go wrong?"

Daphne looked at the Ferris Wheel and almost fainted. OMG. Look at that! It was like so HUGE. She stood for a moment, wondering if she actually wanted to go on that. Not that she was scared or anything. Seriously. Who was she kidding!? She was freakin' scared! Um. Anyway..she didn't come all the way just to do nothing so she entered a basket and took a seat.

Daphne noticed someone sitting next to her. She greeted the girl with a polite 'Hello' before turning to gaze out of the basket. She was feeling nervous. Really nervous. She closed her eyes and waited for the ride to start. Eeeep!

Annabeth stared up at the Wheel, wow she thought, she walked to the line, then found that soon she was by the carts, she approached a cart that had a girl in it, she was around the same age as Annabeth, so she went to the cart and asked the girl nicely "Can I sit here?".

She reconised the girl form Ollivanders, what was her name, Eve, Eva, Evangeline! That was it!

Teach her? João smirked to himself. He liked the way how people always cooperated the way he wanted. But, of course, that may have something to do with the fact that he was charming and he knew it. She probably knew it too, so she might also want to spend some time with him alone... if that was the case, it was even smoother.

"Of course, it'll be a pleasure," he said with a smile. "We can start anytime you want," he added as it was their turn. He followed her to the basket and sat across. He eyed the googles for a moment, then watched her as she looked around with them while replying him. Better to do the same, then, if she wasn't going to talk eye-to-eye.

After a deliberate pause that gave him the opportunity to admire the view himself, he asked "I bet you also go there with your boyfriend. A girl like you should have many admirers." He stole a glance out of the corner of his eye as he kept viewing the city. It was one of the best views in the world, for sure.

Louisa was so into the view in front of her that she answered his first comment with a feeable, "Yeah. Sure," Concerning the studying thing. She stared through the goggles and felt that he was standing next to her and seeing through it as well. It was nice to share this great view with someone, "It's really wonderful. I wonder if brooms can go this high," since she'd never tried going above a few ft off the grounds.

But his next remark made her eyes grew even wider than the goggles. She dropped them and looked up at him, a blush invaded her cheeks. He thought she should have a lot of admirers? Really? Her? But..but she didn't even have that curvy body! "I-" Her voice was a bit croaked so she cleared her throat and repeated, "I don't have a boyfriend. Or admirers." Yep, blatantly honest like that. She was still gazing at him, maybe the smile should be put on her mouth but.. she was too shocked. If a boy like Jay, so self-confident and unquestioningly attractive, thought she was worth it then… okay, Louisa was feeling so weirdly good at the moment.

At the time he saw this projector image, he thought it was a ghost as well. "It could have been," he replied. "It was all so blurred and abstract I wouldn't be able to say either way." Now he really did sound like he needed to be committed. Isobel wasn't going to listen to such nonsense -- but she's the only one he's ever spoken to about it.

"It's never happened before, no," he added in response to her question of if Damien had had -- what would you call it? A vision? Hallucination. That would be the better term to use. "It only happened the one time we hugged, but not anytime before or after."

He felt the squeeze of her hand and turned towards her, worry still spread over his eyes, yet a smile played at the corner of his mouth. "I just -- don't want you to think I'm -- crazy or -- or anything like that, you know?"

It was reassuring to hear how she'd stand by him, though.

Then the voice of ther Carnie rang through his ears. They'd come full circle and their turn on the Ferris Wheel was over. They were told to exit the opposite side of their entrance to the basket, so Damien kept hold of Isobel's hand as the pair walked out and away from the giant wheel that, quite literally brought them together. Damien turned over his shoulder to look at the top where they'd been only moments ago. "Hopefully someone else will have as nice a ride as we did, eh?" he said turning back to Isobel, hand still enclosed with his. He smiled before closing the small distance between them, kissing her softly on the lips for the second time that night. "I'm begining to like that more and more," he confessed in a low voice.

Damien walked with her back around to where the end of the line for the Ferris Wheel was. "I can safely guess you wouldn't want to go back up again," he chuckled. "But I would like to take you somewhere else -- if you don't mind, that is --"

Macy looked over from her humming and gave a smile to the girl that had sat down next to her. "Hello," she returned. "Excited?" She certainly was. Macy wasn't the type to be scared of heights, but then again, she'd never been on something quite this big.

IT WAS GOING TO BE FUN.

Yes, she was determined. Especially now that she had a companion to enjoy it with. "I'm Macy Sinclair," she added, sticking out her hand. Yup. That was her, resident loon and community trouble maker. She was still determined to find some decent fireworks.

Wow.

That Ferris Wheel had to be the tallest thing she had ever seen. Well, apart from maybe the Eiffel Tower. Ainsley felt a bit lightheaded from looking up and her neck began to hurt, so without hesitating, she raced forwards and jumped inside an empty basket. It was so loooooooonely!!!!!!!

Was anyone going to join her? It looked unlikely because everyone else had friends. So, the fifteen-year-old put on her sightseeing glasses and waited for the ride to start. At least this was a FUN place to be lonely. WEHEEEEE.

"Of course you can," Evangeline said smiling up at the girl. She looked vaguely familiar but at that moment Evangeline couldn't place where she'd seen her before. The girl looked like a first year too, Evangeline thought it was a good idea to get to know other first years, and this would be the start.

João was already off in dreaming about what to do in that alone moment with her as she talked again about the scene. He nodded absently as he said "It is beautiful, yes." Nothing of any sort of Brazil's breath-taking nature but he had to admit London was also a beautiful city. "Of course they can." He hadn't seen any, but he knew they could. Or else, how would wizards travel on brooms without being noticed by Muggles down there, right?

He smiled charmingly at her as she blushed, smiling naturally like that. Removing his own googles upon seeing her to do the same, he looked into her eyes. "You look cute like that," he said softly, openly, because she needed to hear them now and he wanted her to know he did find her beautiful. His smile got slightly bigger when she admitted she didn't have any boyfriend, and he cocked his head a little to right as he stared at her. He wondered if he should touch her face... but no, this was barely the second time they met, and he didn't want to act too fast. Well, fast for her. If it had been any other girl, he was already sitting next to her but he felt he should be taking it slow this time. After a moment, he said in a half-joking voice: "I'd be your boyfriend." He laughed to lighten to mood. "No, seriously. I mean, obviously the boys of Hogwarts are silly not to notice you." She wouldn't think that'd be taking too fast, right?

Daphne opened her eyes and stared at the girl as if she was from another planet. Excited!? She was like so scared! "Um. Yeah I'm looking forward to it.." Daphne said with a strained smile. Yeah, the girl didn't have to know that she was totally freaking out! Seriously, these rides were for little kids and definitely NOT for her.

The 16 year old grinned. "Hi Macy. Nice to meet you. I'm Daphne Green." o_O Her grin faded when she realized that the ride was about to start. She noticed that unlike her, Macy seemed to be really excited.

Isobel smiled teasingly at Damien. "Damien, you don't need to see ghosts for me to think you're crazy. Even if you hadn't I would still think you're crazy." He had never flown on a broom! Seriously? "But I am too, so that's okay."

She let out a small sigh of relief when they could stand on the ground again. She had liked the ride, but she had not liked the height. "Hmmm," she said, considering his comment about someone else having as good a ride as them. "I don't think that's possible." She smiled again, and blushed a little when he kissed her. "I could definitely get used to that," she agreed.

"That's a pretty safe bet," she said with a smile. "Sure, we can go wherever you want. But...after that there's somewhere I want you to go." She had been on the bumper brooms earlier with Maybelle, but it was not until that moment that she thought of an idea. Damien didn't want to ride a real broom, so she could at least force him to go on to the ride.

Oh how Bailey loved this carnival thing. Seriously, he loved it, he was now convinced he wanted to be a carnie. FORGET film making, being a carnie was the life for Bailey Marc Pichler. It had everything to offer him including good, unhealthy food and amusement. His life could not go wrong if he lived as a carnie. The 15 year old shrugged his leather backpack up his shoulder, eying the large ferris wheel thing. A grin spread out on his face, he HAD to ride it right then and there so he looked for a seat......and he found one.

A seat with a girl.An attractive girl. There were no questions asked, none at all.

Bailey sat down next to her, a faint smirk spreading out on his face."Hope ya don't mind..."Which, of course she probably didn't, hopefully anyway. If not then she just had to suck it up it seemed.

*SMIRK* Obviously, Daphne was a little bit less than thrilled. That was all right though, she applauded the effort put in to seeming excited. "Nice to meet you too Daphne," Macy replied. Ohh, Daphne was a very pretty name. Heh.

OHH. The ride was starting!!

The fifth year held on to the lap bar as they slowly started moving. WHEE. Hmm. It might be a good idea to distract the other girl from the ride. "So do you go to Hogwarts?" she asked as they started moving towards the sky. Macy swung her legs lightly, a grin on her face. Ahh.

Eeeep! Daphne should enjoy a ride like this..instead she started praying that she gets back to the ground safe and sound. Yeah. She was a little scared of heights..which was childish. Jeez. If she was so scared, why on earth did she get on the ride!? PFFT. She had no idea.

She was more than a little glad that she could have a conversation with Macy. Something to distract her from the scary ride. "Well, I'm starting Hogwarts this term." Daphne said, her uneasiness forgotten for the moment. She was so excited! Obviously, she missed her old school..but she was looking forward to something new. "How about you?"

WAS THIS RIDE EVER GOING TO MOVE?

Just when she thought she was going to flip out in frustration at the wheel, she felt the basket shake as someone boarded it, followed by a voice. It was a male voice which made it instantly a good thing. Ainsley briskly pulled off the glasses and turned coolly to look at the guy who'd joined her. "Oh, go right ahead." Ainsley was rubbish at making friends, and consequently, didn't have any back at home, but it seemed like witches and wizards were a lot nicer than the idiots she lived by.

She didn't want to seem too eager, so she suppressed showing her teeth through her smile. Just a mere toothless grin would do for now. Yusss, just keep it cool, Ains. Keep it cool.
.... The smile was followed by an epic awkward silence. So, she casually broke it quickly!

"I'm Ainsley." Yadahhhhh yah!

Thankfully, Daphne seemed relieved to have something to talk about. YAY. Macy felt accomplished. :3 Hehehe. Now wasn't she just awesome?

OOOH. They were a little bit higher up now. Below them, the fifth year could see the tops of the Carousel and the Food Booth. Speaking of which, she was getting hungry. She'd have to head over there next. "Oh cool!" she replied, snapping out of her thoughts of food. "Yeah, I switched schools last term, so this'll be my second year." Buh bye, Beauxbatons.

"I'm going into the fifth year," she clarified. Because she was ALMOST FIFTEEN! WOOO! Just another week until her birthday. Hopefully Mum got her a new pair of shoes. She loved shoes. And she had entirely too many.

Seeing her eye him, obviously not annoyed by his presence, he smirked before sending a nod her way. His green eyes looked over the girl who was obviously about his age, maybe a year younger or older but Bailey didn't care. She looked like good company plus she was nice to look at which didn't hurt a single bit Hehh. He fixed his baseball cap over his head, biting his lip in the bit of awkward silence. If she wasn't going to break it then surely he would, after all, awkwardness did not exist in Bailey Pichler's world.

Finally though, she spoke and his face went from a smirk to a grin.

"Ainsley, eh? Nice to meet you."He held his hand up, friendly grin upon his face."Bailey, Bailey Pichler. I presume you go to Hogwarts, yes?"He raised a brow. Everyone that looked around his age here had to go to Hogwarts which wasn't a bad thing considering the boy was going to be going there this year.

Was she doubting him again?

Sure, since getting with Mia, Nikolai may have softened down a lot little, but he still the same person as before. He would just have to look a little harder to find that old person, that's all. "If my woman needs fighting for, of course I would." Like she didn't already know that. And really, who wouldn't fight for their woman? It was just a ridiculous thought.

A simple shrug of his shoulders was all Mia was going to get from him at her comment. He wasn't going to tempt an answer or even think about food. The more they brought it up, the hungrier he became.

He was kind of glad that it was Mia's decision for wanting to go visit her grandparents. And although he felt like a hypocrite for even thinking about it, he didn't want someone to force her to do something she didn't want to. Not when it came to things like this. Nikolai gave her a small smile and another squeeze. "I understand, Mia." He did. There was no doubt in his mind, he would have decided the same thing if it were happening to him. Loosening his hold on her, he glanced at the view; they were almost at the top.

"Nothing, I guess. It's just.." How could he put this? "You probably shouldn't be yourself.."
