| | |  Carnival Stalls & Vendors
 Scattered on both sides of the main stage are the carnival's biggest money makers. The stalls and vendors. The lights, bells and whistles from each stall seem to mesh together, drowning out the sounds of the petting zoo nearby, but maybe not the smell? There's hoopla, coconut shy, weight guessing, pinball racing, and of course the infamous test your strength stalls, just to name a few, all with a magical twist. For those who'd prefer a moving picture as a keepsake to the mini stuffed animal they won as a consolation prize, there's faceless standees: humorous cardboard cutouts that come in pairs or groups of three in various sizes. The photographer stands ready to snap your silly photos and greedily accept your money.
For those who'd rather not waste their time with frivolous games, and just want the big prize, there are vendors just for selling merchandise, though they do cost a pretty sickle. While there are a few vendors selling various confectioneries intended to rot your teeth to the core, both magical and mundane, many are selling knickknacks. Some vendors sell questionable jewelry and pretty trinkets, along with glowworm sticks. Others have oversized and miniature wizard hats, sunglasses intermixed with the large stuffed animals and magical balloons. And then there are those that sell magical firecrackers that the carnies suggest waiting to set off until you get home. They may have been rumored to have sent wizards to Mungo's for minor burns, but what do the carnies care? It's not as if they're liable for any of you lot.
The carnies aren't the only ones attempting to sell items. A few of the vendors belong to your local shopkeepers attempting to sell items such as sparkler wands and glow in the dark wand holsters.
Wander around with your friends, and have fun! Just don't get a bad case of sticky fingers. OOC: Feel free to interact with the Carnival Stalls & Vendors wandering Carnie, Slick Gibbins (Anna Banana), chat, play and win a prize!

She broke away from her thoughts when he said that he wasn't proud of his past relationships. "Oh. Um..." Keep quiet, Alex. Don't say anything futher. She probably might not want to hear the answer but.. "What happened? If you don't mind me asking, that is.." Oh no. She sighed. She laughed when he pulled her into a hug. "You know, as cliche as it may sound..this is definitely one of the best days of my life.."
Alex grinned. "Ah. Thank you, Damon." She took a bow. "I'm glad you think so." She could feel her cheeks grow warm. "Hm. I guess we are perfect for each other?" She said, with a laugh although she wondered if it was a little out of line. "Why dont we just stoll along and see if there are any interesting games along the way?" Or... "I also noticed a few interesting shops.." She wanted to go shopping!

"A lot of the girls I found I got along with when I was teen were girls that had come from a similar background to my own. No real parents, constantly bouncing from home to home and never really feeling settled...some of them took up illegal activities within the muggle community, since I mostly just dated muggles. Most wizard and witches I encountered through schooling and stuff thought I was too rough around the edges, so they generally stayed away from me." Those had been incredibly dark times for Damon. "I guess I just found comfort in being with people that could understand what I went through, but as I got older I decided I didn't want to be a spiteful person who used their crappy childhood as a crutch to not do well in life, or make anything of themselves. So, I ended up cutting off ties with them...I'm not really sure what happened to them but I hope they were able to find the peace that I've found." "We seem to be pretty perfect for each other to me," Damon said with a smile. "Sure," Damon said, taking hold of her hand and leading her down the little path. Maybe he could find something new for himself...or he wouldn't mind by Alex something. Boyfriends did get their girlfriends gifts after all.

Rose began to spin them around, as Mordred tried his best not to trample on their feet. "Wait, wait, wait!" he said stopping, as he was getting dizzy. "Can we not do that?" he said looking as if he was about to throw up. "I'm getting dizzy." he said.
Tin Man?
"Perfect. I can do that." he said as he carried on with his role. He headed toward the food stalls rubbing his head. "That really was some silly dance."
Rose laughed. 'Aw, I'm sorry! Sure, you'll be a great Tin Man!' Rose grinned as she followed Mordred to the Food Stalls.

Yeah, she really didn't have an answer to that. She was just wandering around, plain and simple.

Vashti gave her a friendly smile in passing but tried to keep moving so that she didn't appear as if she was going to buy something. Dani turned around and smiled at the girl nearby, she looked about the same age as Dani... ooh, she had a feeling she'd seen this girl around Hogwarts and that could mean the possibility of another friend and that would just be awesome. She moved away from the stall she'd been looking at and went over to the girl with her usual dazzling smile on her face- " Hey!" she said poilitely with a sweet little wave as she pushed back her curls behind her ear and adjusted the little flowery headband that she had on.
" You go to Hogwarts too right?" she asked softly as she jangled the bracelets on her wrist a little and bit her lip slightly, hoping she would be right. How embarassing would that be if she didn't?!

She smiled widely and laughed- " Me? An astronaut...? I don't think that would work out" she smirked.
" Oh that's awesome. Well done!" she said softly as she nodded and sighed happily- " This place is awesome, huh? I haven't been to anything like this in ages" she said softly as her eyes were caught by some really pretty bracelets nearby and she pointed them out to Vashti too.

She had a huge family..her parents, brother, a lot of relatives who lived nearby..yeah, most of them were annoying..especially her brother and a few of her cousins..but she couldn't imagine a life without them. "Um..I'm sorry to hear that, Damon." She said, softly. "I mean, to be able to go through all that..it's just amazing." Alex didn't know what else to say. She wanted to ask about his mum..but well, she wasn't sure if he would want to talk about it. She gave him a smile. "Anyway, everything has turned out for the best, right?"
Alex smiled. "You know..if you don't want to go shopping, that's fine with me." She knew that guys usually didn't like to shop..they thought it was just too..girly.

It was odd being at a carnival for the first time in years, though there really wasn't much hesitancy from Blaise after he had been given his assignment. After all, it was an event, which was his specialty.
Not to mention he was second in command for this job. Already.
Dressing casually just like everyone else, the only people who would know he was actually working was Gabe and the other two volunteers. Oh, and Van. That man knew everything. He felt in his pocket for the miniature broom he was given since his license was suspended and almost debated about taking it for a spin from the sky to watch over everything. But, of course, he didn't. He would later though when he was leaving.
So for now all he did was keep his eyes peeled and stayed alert, juuust in case.

So it's not so bad that you didn't get an Astronomy OWL."
She smiled. "Thanks." She was definitely glad that she'd done well on her OWLs. She'd probably still be holed up in her room crying if she'd failed all of them. "Yeah, it's pretty cool." The carnival overall was, anyway, not so much this particular part of it. Those bracelets Dani pointed out were quite nice though.

Plus, they have an outside theatre which is really nice. And then Blackheath common is mega, she commented, feeling all proud of her area, it's not a royal park, but it's my back garden practicly and you always find someone doing something. It's great.
And the thought of meeting a fitty on her homeground. Man, that sounded good

Then taking a large swing Matty showed how strong he was as the bell sounded signaling that he got to the top. With a smile he turned to Marie and whispered.*
