Hayley walked into the carnival with gleaming eyes.."WOW" she said.
Queuing up for the Bumper Brooms, she was very excited, as a first year she'd never seen-or been on-a flying broom. She smiled to herself, and waited patiently, looking at all of the other Hogwarts students have fun.

Paulie nodded to the boy's explanation, then his eyes lowered to the candy apple. Candy apples tasted all right, but he always ended up getting totally sticky whenever he ate one, so Mr. Foster steered clear of them while in public. "Mhmm. You muggleborn, then?" He asked casually. Whahoaaa, this kid was a shrimp, yet he ate... ALL that? Holy moly. "Whoa, you really know how to pig out, huh? You shoulda waited until after you went on the bumper brooms." Then again, the boy didn't look too upset about missing out, so what did it matter?

"Hiya, Tony," Paulie greeted, offering a smile. "I'm Paulie." His hands found his pockets and he looked down at Tony again. "So, do you go to Hogwarts?"

Sarah watched as Amethyst amused herself with moving the broom, then tested it out herself. The broom moved well, she leaned forward and let the broom shoot out.

"Sweet! Come on!" She called over her shoulder.

She laughed lightly as she zoomed off, trying to keep up with you. She fly beside you, finally, catching up. "Not bad for first years like us!" She smiled softly, her teeth twinkling.

" Nice to see you here" Willaim told Hayley. " This is good ride" William said to Hayley. " Have you been on the Carpet Coaster?" William asked Hayley.

Nikolas looked back at Feenella, "It is true!" he said "Someone who hasn't been on a broom before will be screaming like them" and yes by them he meant the girls. Anyways, brooms were simply the best thing ever and who hasn't at least take a ride? at least ONE. He returned the smile and said "You're welcome. Yeah I think so too" he chuckled "Are you from here?" he asked. Maybe she was from somewhere else because of her name.

So now she was challenging him to take a ride. Hmmm of course he'll do it! "Oh yess" he nodded "Sure, but won't you be screaming like those girls?" he teased. The girl was so girly that he could only imagine her screaming the whole ride. Hehe. Or maybe not. Sitting next to her, she told him she did go to Hogwarts "That's great!" he nodded. What about him? "Well, I'm starting Hogwarts this term" he started "I'm gonna be in fifth year" He was a firstie in fifth year, if that even make sense. Oh and he has forgotten to say the house "And slytherin" he said.

"Um, no I havent! Is it good? I'll sure give it a ride later!" She smiled at the boy.

"I'm good because now I already met you." Freya smiled at Lara. "Of course you're" she rolled her eyes. Its funny really they lived in the same town but they rarely see each others. "My summer?" she paused for a moment before continue "Well, let's just say I've had a better summer." she sighed. "What about you?" she hoped that her friend had a better summer than her.

"Umm..No I was wondering are they gonna give us the broom for free or not." she joked. Of course she gonna ride this bumper brooms but she's waiting for someone to play bumper brooms with and now with Lara here they could try this attraction. "What about you?Are you gonna ride this thing?" the blonde pointed at the brooms.

This was more Tyler's thing, being thrown up into the air and attacking... Bumping into other people with a broomstick, what could go wrong? He laughed to himself as he looked up at some of other witches and wizards up there. He loved flying, it was the only thing he could actually do at school maybe because he just chose not to pay attention in classes.

Nessie spotted a ride that had something to do with brooms. It looked awsome and she loved flying so she ran over to check what it was. It looked like bumper carts except with brooms. She had to have a go. She looked at the sign and noticed she had to be 4.5 metres to go alone. She looked at her feet. Yip she was tall enough. She started heading for the line getting excited to go on the ride.

She came to a halt when she saw somone she was kinda trying to avid for the time being. It was Tyler. She turned around, so Tyler couldn't see her face, but she was sure he'd recognise her by her hair. She started walking away deciding she would come back later. She just hoped he couldn't see her.

As Tyler was looking around, checking out the brooms and how long the queue was he noticed a familiar shade of red. The back of somebody's head, not just somebody but Nessie, well he thought it was. She was either avoiding him or staring at a nice piece of ground, the first was more likely. He bit his lip as he took another glance around just trying to think of something to say that wouldn't sound stupid, or stupider. "Uh, what're you doing here?" he said to the girl, hoping the familiar shade of red hair belong to Nessie and not some random person.

What she didn't want to happen, sadly had to. Tyler had spotted her, he knew she was there. A great idea came to her mind, he couldn't be sure it was her. Other people also had red hair she wasn't the only one. "I don't know you." she said trying to change the sound of her voice, but she giggled which probably gave her away. She stayed in her position.

Please don't make me turn..please don't make me turn. She said to him in her mind. "Go away." she said putting her fake voice on. Maybe he would be frightend and then maybe he would leave, but it wasn't likely. He wasn't like her he was a Griffindor brave and never scared. She covered her eyes with her hand expecting the worst to happen.

Tyler had probably chose Rose. It was almost obvious, she just didn't want her thought to be confirmed. She knew she would end up in tears never wanting to speak to Tyler again.

" The carpet coaster is a blast" William told Hayley. " You will really like the coaster" William said to Hayley. " Have you rod the carousal?" William asked Hayley.

"Really Nessie?" he said with a frown. If she thought she could fool him she was wrong, he wasn't going to look like a complete idiot in front all the people around. "C'mon I know I'm stupid but really? You can't keep avoiding me forever" he said. he was annoyed already, he wanted to leave and if Nessie was going to keep up this 'I'm not really Nessie I'm some random person' thing he'd have no choice.

He crossed his arms "You've got five seconds until something bad happens" something bad, that was all he could really say, his mind didn't have enough time to think of something more threatening.

Five Seconds? Was he trying to act like her parents when she was in trouble. It was stupid. "Seriously.." was all she could say. She was tempted to stay the way she was, she was a little curious what he would do if she did. It was too risky, he might hex her or something.

She giggled trying to make it look like a joke. She turned around and gave Tyler a one arm hug, so he wouldn't think she was acting strange. It was a sort of akward hug so she made sure it was quick. She looked at his eyes, He was annoyed already."It was just a joke." She just hoped it wouldn't turn into anything bad. Ever since the fight Tyler just wasn't the same, but niether was she. It definitely affected there relationship. "Your not stupid." she said shaking her head.

"Petrov? Are you of Russian descent?" Noah asked curiously. He thought he went to school with a Petrov, maybe an older cousin or sibling. Shrug shoulders. Either way, it was nice to meet the young person.

"Still in school, or?" By school he assumed that she went to Hogwarts. I mean, carnivals are fun, but who would come to Diagon Alley just for it. Or maybe she was a shopkeeper slash worker. Ooh, he could visit her every so often. Teehee.

"Yeah, if you're gonna' act like a child I'll treat you like one" Tyler replied without even thinking, he'd never used those words before, he realized how teacher like that sounded. He covered his face with his hands, "I think I'm gonna' be sick" he said, though he didn't mean it literally.

He uncovered his face as Nessie gave him the most awkward hug of his life. He fidgeted around for a few seconds as he thought about what to do next. He took hold of one of the strings of his black hooded jacket and fiddled around with it. "Um... Okay" he managed, he let out a laugh as he found himself watching the floor. He'd been doing that a lot lately without even realizing. "Dumb then" he said.

So now he was trying to be all grown up. It was rather funny to watch, but she was a child after all so what was wrong with her behaving like one. He sounded like an adult. Not wanting to make Tyler angry she just left it. "Why?" she asked concerned. She just hoped he didn't mean proper sick, like when you have a headache and stuff. "Are you okay?" she walked a step back incase he decided he needed to vomit.


This just kept on getting more akward. She watched as he played with his hoodie and then looked at the floor. "Nope..your just forgetful." she nodded her head. Thats what he was. This akwardness needed to stop, before they couldn't have a normal conversation. "Are you going on the ride?" she asked trying to unakward the situation.

"I just can't believe I said that" he said, keeping he eyes locked on the ground. "I'm perfectly fine" he said as he slowly lifted his eyes to Nessie's face, it felt like years since he'd actually properly looked at her, he'd only noticed now that she was more grown up. He shoved his hands in his pockets and gave a casual grin, he thought that would make things better.

He glanced up again, this time looking at the sky, the weather wasn't bad thought he preferred it when it was raining, especially lightning, he just had a thing for creepy stuff like that. "And therefore, stupid" he said. "Well, that was why I was here, how could I miss it? Broomsticks, flying and everything" he added.

Emily rolled her eyes as she watched Brad laugh at her, well at least they were getting along, but she didn't think she was being that funny. Emily looked down at him from her broom, half frowning and half pouting.
"Alright, you've had your laugh... now get on! or are you too chicken to take me on?" Heh heh.

Adjusting her possition on the boom, Emily couldn't help but notice the differences from this one and her own. Despite its handles, and other protective measures, her own broom was far more comfortable. Hopefully this wouldn't put her off her game.

Pfft...

Nah...

She gave Brad a steely look, a grin plastered on her face. This would be fun. She continued to watch and wait for him to mount his broom and for the game to start.
"Don't want to keep a girl waiting do you?"

Fee just nodded and chuckled.The boy seemed to understand her point of view exactly.Sometimes it was just cooler to hang out with guys,probably that was the reason why she had so many guy friends."I dont get why they are going on there then",she laughed,"i was born on a broom.I play Quidditch for 10 years now.Those girls muste be crazy."Yeah her mum really liked it exotic.One of her sisters was named Fenja,not your common name either."Well i like it special",the blonde wiggled her eyebrows.Hehehehehe.Smiling widely at Nikolas the Slytherin nodded."Yes i am a real London girl",she said,"but my dad is german.What about you?"It was nice to have a summer house in Germany,switiching places could be really cool.Sometimes you just needed another atmosphere.

The fourth year raised an eyebrow and hit Nikolas on the arm playfully."Ohh shuuush",the girl laughed,"noo i am not going to scream like those girls.I am Quidditch baby.Are you sure YOU wont scream like a girl?"Ohh yeees Fee liked to tease him,he deserved it.Hehe.Ohh so he was one of the new transfers.Glitter,there were sooo many this term.It was really nice to get to know them,most of them were really cool."You are in Slytherin?",the 14 year old beamed,"thats sooo awesome.I am in Slytherin too.So you are one year older than me.You are 15,right?"That was soo cool.Really,a new transfer for Slytherin.Oh yees.

Lara grinned at her friend's comment, but it seemed that her friend's summer wasn't so fascinating, "Mmm.... that doesn't sound very good" she said rubbing her chin with her fingers bur she didn't push it too much, if her friend didn't want to talk about it then no need to make her do it, "My summer was good" she answered "Nothing special really...... just hanging out and stuff" she told her friend.

She laughed at her own stupid question, "No I don't think they'd give them for free!" she let another giggle. Then she crossed her arms across her chest and turned to the brooms eying them, "How hard do you think riding them is?" she wondered. She was eager to ride then but she was cautious about it too. She then turned to her friend "It won't be a lot different from the regular brooms ,don't you think?" she asked Freya.

Tyler was confusing her, say what and why couldn't he believe it? "Say what?" she asked looking at an ant crawling on the floor. She could feel Tyler's eyes on her. She tried to figure out what he was doing."So..um.." she wanted to ask him something, but she just forgot her words as she looked up to see her favourite smile. It was pretty random, but for some reason her mouth smiled back, she started blushig a little. The two of them must have looked like such retards.

As soon as his eyes moved again so did hers, this time she looked at the ride behind him. "Your not stupid." she hoped it would be the last time she would have to tell him. She looked back at him again, obviously he was going onto the road. "Should we go together?" she continued to blush. She was suprised she had even managed to get the words out her mouth. She took Snitch Puffles and put him safely in her bag, that she had got especially for Puffles. She just hoped she could put him somehwere better if she got onto the ride.

Too chicken to take her on? Ha, she wishes. Brad gave her a wink before stepping forward and mounting a broom that was waiting for him. "Chicken, you wish. Your own" He called over to Emily before he adjusted himself on the seat.

It wasn't as good as his own broom but it would work for him for this. He gripped the end of the broom with both of his hands and moved around till he felt ready for the game to start. "Let's get this started" He said to himself as he waited.

Emily let out an uncharacteristically girly giggle. Merlin! she felt like a school girl again... this would not do. It was time to channel her inner auror. She smiled brightly, her cheeks a little rosy from all her enthusiasm. It felt great to be young again... she couldn't remember the last time she went to a carnival or ridden a ride. It would be fun.

Seeing as the game was underway, Emily steered her broom toward Brad, turning it slightly so she could get a better aim on him.

It really wasn't nearly as good as her own broom. This one didn't respond to her touch with any finese whatsoever.
