Ministry of Magic Flying Limousines The gentle purr of an engine is suddenly heard coming from somewhere far off in the skies. As the seconds tick on, the purring sound gets louder and louder, until finally two, large, black objects can be seen flying directly toward Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. |
Illegal sounded FUN... it did. But he decided not to say that. Instead, Jake was OFF to the front gates without another word, ready to see what this transport was. He had to make sure his suit wasn't getting all ick and that his shoes were clean because. Well. Borr. Maybe Lafay wasn't coming! HE WOULD SURVIVE! ===== OOOOOOOOOOOOH! These were pretty. "We can... get in, right?" he asked, looking around for halp. HE NEEDED A NEPTOON. SCHWEET cars, though. |
Lexi made her way to the grounds and watched in AWE as the flying limos appaeared and the doors swung open. ZOMG. How freaking awesome was THIS?! Without hesitation she slid into one of the cars and began to LOOK through it for anything interesting... like champagne or something... That was what was ALWAYS in limos, right? Hehehe. Peeking her head out the door she called out, "Get IN, Jakers! Come oooon!" Smoothing down the front of her dress and spreading her cloak out around her she sat, ankles crossed, and just LOOKED. |
"Wow" Patroclus mumbled, wide eyed......he could help but think that the automobiles were rather.....ostentatious, so obviously they had been Lord Borr's idea. Stepping into the Limo, the Lion boy smield at Lexi, "Mind if I sit here?" as he gestured to the seat beside her. "Now where is the mini-bar?" All Limo's have minibars......right? |
"I'm coming! I'm coming!" There, Lexi had boldly gone where no Jakers had gone before. So now it was safe. And Jake felt no guilt for that. Baha. He slid into the limo with Lexi and his eyes positively LIT up. He'd rarely been in a CAR before and now... the young man let out a boyish gaspy-cheer ("Yeahhhhh!") and clambered around, needing to see everything. |
Simon followed with the rest of the group outside and walked with them to the front gate to await their ride. The captain couldn't help raising an eyebrow in surprise as he saw just what they would be taking to the supposed party. They were really pulling out the stops for professors and students. Shaking his head, he waited until Lexi, Patroclus and Jake were inside before getting in himself and taking a seat. |

Even though she'd been racking her brain for the different types of magical transportation, she was still surprised when she spotted the black tinted limos. Eyes lighting up with excitement, she walked juuust a bit faster to the limos. She turned her grin to Sabel briefly, tugged him to the limo in front. She was too excited for words as she carefully climbed into the limo, making space for Sabel. "Flying Limos were not on my list of magical transportation." Flying cars. Yes. Bright brown eyes surveyed the interior. |
"I love this thing... the ride had better be super long," Jake commented, eyes WIIIIIIIIIIDE. And then he gigglesnorted at the mention of a mini-bar. "Be careful, or we'll get a staff member in here... supervising." Ew. No. They could take the other car. YUP. |

Everything was peachy and keen until he saw them. Then, he stopped and stared. Never had his face changed shades of color so quickly as in the past few minutes, his skin blanching as he stumbled after Arya. "They weren't on my list either." He managed weakly, pausing at the door to the car and peering into the rather loud interior. "Could have stayed off the list too." There was a great deal of hesitation before he ducked low and climbed hesitantly into the limo. It felt like climbing onto his first broom again, and he was a hair-span from darting back out if there hadn't been so many legs about the space. A few sorries and apologies had him plopping down beside Arya, letting her occupy one of the window seats. "Ohh..please not a long ride." Sabel just kinda blinked at Jake and Lexi, dreading the thought. The shorter the better. |
Jake was HONESTLY like a little kid at Christmas. He was proper checking out the entire place, albeit from just the one seat since now they were filling up. "I feel... special." He DID. Because only a few kids were coming along, AND they got limos AND... well... they had to see Borr but that was a small price to pay. "Do we get PIZZA?! Is there music? Where's the window?" Jake said all this quickly and stupidly, twisting RIGHT around in his seat to see out, actually getting up to kneel on his seat at one point. True. Little. Kid. "This is sooooo cool." Neptune would probably have had a fit at him being so hyper and... flaily. In a distinguished limo. Wearing a suit. Heh. AH WELL! Jake was so unbelievably hyper. |

Charley slid onto one of the seat in the limousine that the other students were piling into. She sat as far from them as possible and took her book out again, laying her bag at her feet. The idea of the event was quite exciting, but she was missing her friends. Belle, Jaina, Alice and Benjamin were hanging out in the Astronomy Tower again, and while the invitation was a great honour, she didn't personally know any of the other pupils. |
Sabel kinda continued blinking at Jake, listening to Arya with a tilted head. "No...we can't fall out." Unless of course someone rolled down the window and in all their excitement one of them somehow managed to take a tumble. The limo falling out of the sky wasn't exactly a completely null-in-void possibility though. But he wasn't going to say that. He did have to smile at all the excitement though and Arya being there helped. Actually they all helped. No one seemed worried about a thing, and it had him forgetting some of his own worries. Except the flying aspect of course, for which he was already gripping the edge of the seat with his free hand. "Window controls are on the door, mate. And the big window..." The one leading up to the 'pilot'... "I have no idea." He hadn't ridden in a limo before. It was rather strange compared to regular cars. Strange and long and...they couldn't see their pilot. Worrisome. Very, worrisome. His attention was caught by another student entering. A student with a book. Wise idea. Tilting his head, he turned it to the side and upside down to try and peer at the cover. It was better than thinking about the flying car manned by an unknown man. |
"Do the doors open when it's in the air? Like... can they?" the ever so tactful Jake asked, PEEEEEEEEEEEEEERING out the window by leaning close. It was... it was like being on a sugar high. With no sugar. HE NEEDED TO GET THIS OUT OF HIS SYSTEM. "WHO has candy with them?" the young man BEAMED at everyone. Forgetting that Lexi KNEW. Shhhhhhh, Lexi. Let me have fun. |
Nope. She still wasn't sure if she was helping or not, and couldn't tell until he started to visibly relax. Giving his hand another squeeze, her eyes flicked to Jake... who was debatably more excited than she was. "I hope the doors can't open while we're in the air..." For the obvious reason of course. "Okay." Tate peered into the first limo and gave the students gathered there the EYEBALL. "Behave yourselves and don't bother the driver. We should be in London shortly, and there's no reason that you shouldn't get out of this limo looking just as spotless as you do right now. I'm sitting in the back limo, and I will have no compunction in apparating anyone back to school if they make bad choices." This... was so not his idea. He shut the door and climbed into the other limo. He had just a few minutes to relax before the really stressful part began. |
Riley didn't know which car to get into. AHH! He ran and followed Lexi and Jake into of the the limos and hopped in behind them, excitedly grinning at the luxory seating arrangement inside. "This is not bad at all, perhaps we could convince Headmaster Tate to replace the Carriages with these for the beginning of terms." he chuckled looking around at those inside with him. "OR replace the TRAIN with these. Muuuuuch better, you know?" Anyway, Jake found himself LOOKING at the headmaster, like, having to crane his neck around to see over his shoulder, and he gave a smile. An innocent smile that only little Dale ever got away with. And Jake, before he got all TALL and old. He glanced at Lexi. Whut? Oh. Silly. "Noooo, I don't," SADFACE. He wanted CANDY. And he'd get it. At the party. For now... he'd be HAPPY to be in a limoooooo. And Jake never made bad choices, so it was all good. Of course, now he was curious about the driver. |
Sabel was torn from his attempt at discerning the book cover when Tate spoke. Snapping his head up, he just missed knocking it against Arya's, blinking with wide eyes at her and mumbling an apology. By the time he turned to look back to Tate, to try and ask a question, he was gone. He didn't suppose he could get out and move into the other car. With a sigh, he pressed his back tightly against the seat. The excitement and energy of the student car would be good for him. Keep him distracted. He did however blink strangely at Riley with his suggestion. Maybe he just needed to learn to like flying. That...would be an interesting task. "They've got to be expensive." His eyes went around the limo again, actually taking it in this time, and a slow whistle left him. Snazy, for a car. |
Satine's eyes grew huge as she approached the limousines. She had never been inside of one of those before. She clicked up to the limousines with her purple hair curled in curls trailing behind her. She was soooo very excited to be invited to the event, although she wasn't sure why she was. She clasped the invitation in her hand just in case there was some mix up or something or she had to prove that she was invited. She waited with her usual smile plastered on her face. She smoothed out her black skirt and checked on her purple heels as she waited. She glanced around at everyone else standing around the limousines trying to figure out what they all had in common. She said outloud to no one in general, "This is just crazy and brilliant...aren't we the lucky ones? Anyone know why they chose us?" she said shaking her head. |
Clutching her box of cookies to her chest, Kurumi got into one of the flying limousines and immediately felt overwhelmed. She had never been in a car before...let alone one as fancy as this. In her hometow, everyone traveled by riding a bike. Seeing that the car holding fellow Gryffindors Lexi and Simon was a bit full, Kurumi got into the one that held, at the moment, the Headmaster. "H-Hello, Headmaster," she said bowing her head before taking a seat. Kurumi looked around like a child who had entered a candy store for the first time. |
