Ali here and I'm trying my hand at another one! This time I'm going to be doing the soundtrack for my DA charrie, Daily Prophet Journalist Jorge Cristo De La Garza. It's going to jump around his life from past to present. I hope you enjoy

25. Don't Turn out the Lights

Why had he snuck into his sister’s room so late at night? She was always tricking him into doing things that would get him in trouble sooner or later. Nine year old Jorge didn’t really mind that much though. He missed his sister when she was away at school, so he’d take the chance, but now in the dark on the floor he held his flash light on. “Jorge turn off the light, it was a story, it’s not real.” She grabbed the flash light. He reached up and took it back. “Don’t turn out the light.” He was scared.

21. Escape

Sitting, heart racing, wanting to play. The fifteen year old watched as his older sister zoomed around. The match was exciting and the cheers were loud. The bludger zooming around barely hitting the keeper. Standing and cheering for his house. The score was so close and the snitch was there. Come on Pedro, come on. Get it..

What was that, a scream, he knew that scream. His eyes moved to see a collision just happening. A bludger, two players, the keeper rings., Blood, falling, slamming to the ground. His sister lying there not moving. He need to turn away, escape.

15. Say it

He held her hand as they walked and sat down on the bench. “What did you think of class today Jorge?” she asked with that smile that he always stared at. Distracted he leaned in and kissed her. “It was alright.” He wasn’t the most interested in potions so it was always just alright. She was so pretty and they had been dating for seven months now. He was the happiest sixth year ever. “What are you thinking about?” She said looking at him. “Come on Jorge just say it.” She nudged him and he hesitated, “I love you Nita”

2. Heart Attack

Running down the street he looked back to see his cousin right behind him. How was he so stupid to get them into this mess? He had heard about some muggles and had to see for himself. Now they were running for their lives as muggles followed. “Come on this way.” Why wasn’t he of age yet, he could have just apparated them away.

Getting around a corner he slammed against the wall. He was out of breath, his chest hurt, was he having a heart attack? Was this how it felt? Turning he heard a noise and froze. “ROBERTO”

12. 3 Letters

Ever since that dreadful night he couldn’t focus. Nita was the only person that he let in. His only way to express himself was his writing so he sat and wrote. He wrote about that night, he wrote about the guilt, he wrote about things he would have done differently. His writing started forming, forming into opinions about muggles, thoughts about dark magic, and ways the two were similar. He pulled out three different parchments, he was writing three different letters. The letters would explain everything, the letters would show them all what he already knew, it’s all his fault.

13. Free

Graduation! They had done it. He sat with Nita at the end of term feast his arm around her, “This is it. You excited.”

“Excited, nervous, we are free after this. Free to do what we want.” She giggled.

“Exactly whatever we want. You know what I want?”

“What’s that?” her eyes looking up at him curiously.

“To marry you. Let’s get married before we go to Uni. It could be a perfect plan.”

She looked at him for a moment before her smile grew. “Yes, yes I will. The minute we are free of here we will get married.”

8. Not in love

His parents were furious, her parents were furious, but he didn't care. He loved her. They were going to be happy. He could do what he wanted. Jorge walked into Nita's house and headed to her room. Opening the door he froze. He watched them for a moment and before he knew it he was pulling his wand and throwing hexes. His mind was not focusing on what he was doing. A curse hit him and he fell. Nita didn’t throw it, no Juan did. She was with him, but with Juan. She was not in love, she had lied.

3. There goes my baby

He had been cursed, punched a wall, was put in jail for the first time in his young life. Yes he had lost control and went into the alley causing problems, but he couldn't help it. Juan had to show up at the potions shop, had to get involved. None of it mattered, none of it he cared about. What he cared about was standing in front of him at this moment, but she shattered that care and now hate was there. She handed him his things, a shirt, teddy bear, picture, and then turned to leave from his life.

19. Love 4 Fun

Uni was different and he was far away from Ronda. He was enjoying himself and had went out with friends. Dancing and hanging out he say someone smile, then another. All the girls seemed to be looking at him. Could they really be? He went over to the bar and started talking to one. Quickly realizing that they were and that he could use this to his advantage. His smirk landed on his face and he picked the one he was going to dance with the one he was going to love for fun not love for real ever again.

7. Love to see you Cry

Hearing a knock on his door, he got up from his bed and made it across the small dorm. "What are you doing here?" his shock was written on his face.

"What you haven't missed me?" she was on his lips before he could think twice and he kissed back. Finally pushing her away.

“Where’s Juan? Tired of him already?” He wasn’t falling for this one again and saw in her face she was hurt by the words. “You should go, I have a girl coming over.”

“No” she said with tears, he smirked, he liked seeing her tears now.

1. Hero

He got the Owl and was home quick. Making it to the hospital and finding her. “What happened?” He was use to her family causing trouble and being in the papers, but her? He knew she was going down that path, but he hadn’t let himself think about it.

“Nita come back to school with me. You could get a dorm room, start over. Get away from him.”

“No Jorge, don’t you get it? My potions lab blew because of me. I was messing with those ingredients. I was brewing that potion. Just go away you aren’t a Hero, leave.”

6. I'm a freak

“You really aren’t afraid to die are you?”

“No” He smirked as the healer fixed his face and then his arm. It had been the second time he’d been there in less than a week. He knew the healer had fixed him the last time as well. She was cute and his mind was already on things other than the hexes he’d received. “Why don’t we go for drinks after your shift and I’ll show you what I’ve been working on.”

“Oh, I thought you were just getting yourself hexed to see me.”

“I’m a freak what can I say.”

16. Addicted

“Jorge you need to stop.”

“I’m fine, it’s just an article.”

“Jorge it’s taking over your life. Juan is not worth the threats, the danger. He’s as Dark as they come and Nita is too, you need to just walk away.”

“I will not stop until he’s taken down. The truth will come out.”

“So the truth is worth your own life? How far will you go for a story.”

“It’s not just a story, he’s hurting others, the public needs to know. “

“Jorge you are addicted it’s not good. You need to stop.”

“I will never stop. Never.”

17. Be Yourself

“Just be yourself”

“What?” He wasn’t listening. His eyes were scanning her flat. He had one reason for dating the MLE Department head, he just had to find it.

“Jorge are you evening listening to me. I said to be yourself and they will love you.”

He gave his signature smirk, of course he was being himself, but she didn’t know exactly what that was now did she? “Sofia of course I’m listening.” Pulling her close he kissed her, though he still scanned the table. She was being paid off to help them, he knew it, now to find it.

5. Beautiful

The owl came and he apparated from work. Walking into the hospital he had never felt more nervous, no he had. It was walking in for his sister after her accident. Looking for the room number he knocked and walked in seeing his family. Making his way towards the bed he looked down. “Really you couldn’t wait a little longer?” Everyone around him laughed and his mother was placing a small bundle of blankets in his arms.

Looking down into the baby’s face he smiled, “Hello Isa, you are so beautiful. I’m your Uncle Jorge and you will be spoiled.”

9. Why not me

It had been years since that day, so why couldn’t he just let it go? He sat at the edge of the bed and looked at her, watching her sleep. So beautiful and peaceful, but yet he knew she hadn’t picked him. Why not me, he couldn’t help but let the thoughts go through his mind. No she only came when she needed help, needed to get away for some time, but never for good, never to be with him, love him.

Picking up his coat he turned, “Nita I’m leaving. Owl if you want to get away for good.”

20. I like it

Isa sat in her chair like a big girl, with her crayons coloring. She loved to pretend she was her Uncle Jorge, writing at his desk. He was always at his desk when he was at home, unless he was playing with her. She loved when he played with her. Hearing her mother’s voice she got up and peeked around the corner. They were talking about him again. Why did they always seem upset and scared for Uncle Jorge?
Moving into his room her eyes feel on him working again.

“Unccie Jorge, ere.”

She hugged him, she liked his hugs.

13. Free

He left work early, the news came into the paper and people started panicking. Him on the other hand, this was just another day. He really didn’t feel anything but the deep annoyance that all his research, all his headlines, all just were crap now. Walking into the house his father met him at the door. He knew by the look it wasn’t good.

“Your sister’s shop caught fire today an hour after he was free.”

It was starting already, his family was hurting because of his obsession with the story.

“I’ve quit the paper and I’m moving to London.”

23. One day at a time

Two days in London, he had gotten a job at the Daily Prophet, he had found an apartment, and now he was lost. Lost in London, this was just great. He already hated it here, but he couldn’t go back. No they were better without him there and he needed to break away for his family. He just had to go one day at a time and find his place here. Right now though he was lost.

“Do you need some help?”

“I was actually trying to find the Owl Post.”

One day at a time might have gotten easier.

14. You Rock Me
To Mj and Mariel

The sound of scribbling quill in his ear his brown eyes never leaving the beauty in front of him. She was beautiful and successful. Not that he wasn’t use to beautiful and successful women, but what he wasn’t use to was finding her interesting and not just for the reason of having something he needed.

He sipped on his coffee and paid attention to her words. The story about Hogwarts was just rocking him, could it really be true? Could a school really do these things? Should he make a move on her? The thoughts that ran through his mind.

24. Tonight

He had something nagging at him from within, something telling him to stop, but how could he stop when such a beauty was in front of him. He was flirting and he knew it was working, it always worked. Look at the way she was blushing. He had just met her and she was already putty in his hands. Oh could he resist such a fun challenge.

Tonight he was crossing a path he had crossed many times and without a blink of an eye he continued his little game. “So Maria, I’m highly interested in that private tour now.”

11. Away

He looked at himself in the mirror hating what he was seeing. Never had he cared, never had it bothered him. Years spent not caring, not loving, enjoying the game. Now he couldn’t look at himself. He hurt her, he ruined it. He hadn’t cared about anyone since Nita and now that he had, he ruined it. How could he have been so stupid, how did he let someone in. He couldn’t stay, he needed away, to think. Was it worth dealing with any of it? He cared for her, he really had let her in. He needed away now.

18. She be the one

What was wrong? His mind was racing, why was she in so much pain? He couldn’t do anything, but watch and wait. Pacing the hospital corridor while he waited was torture. He wanted to trade her places, what was going on? The healers words about a pregnancy they knew nothing about and now wouldn't.

Something he never wanted he was now breaking and crying over. He felt helpless and hopeless. He wanted to fix this and couldn’t. She’ll be the one to change him, his mother’s words in his ears. She had and now he wanted something he couldn’t have.

4. Finally Found You

Standing out at the beach as the sunset he thought about the last few years. How things had changed and how he couldn’t believe some of the things that had happened. If anyone would have told him he would have let go of the past and found a future, one that wasn’t purely about himself, he would have laughed and moved on. Now he stood there looking at the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. They have been through so much and yet he wanted more.

“I now pronounce you husband and wife.”

He smiled and kissed his bride.

22. Heartbeat

Fidgeting and looking at his hands he couldn’t say he had ever been more nervous in his life. This was planned, this they wanted, but yet he sat, waiting. His mind thinking of before and the pain and the lump that had made its way to his throat was there again. He had spent some time at their tree thinking and hoping that this time would be different. Now he was sitting and waiting. The healer was there and he watched.

Lub dub lub dub lub dub

The noise was fast and soft. He smiled, that was his baby’s heartbeat.
