2. Muggle Studies / Tangy Mini Challenge

Tangy Ginny thought as Professor Burbage rambled on and on about muggle sweets. Tangy was a word Ginny understood she used it to describe her last Bertie Botts to Harry.

“Everyone take one and pass the rest around” Mrs. Burbage spoke firmly, handing everyone lemon sour skittles.

Ginny took the candy and tried to eat it, the pert citrus flavor making her eyes water. Smiling to herself she let the flavor envelope her tongue like a glove that fits correctly it was amazing. The sour then sweet, followed by a kick of bitter sour for the last deliciously tangy taste.

3. Transfiguration/2nd Person Mini Challenge

“You are the one who got yourself here.” There was a pregnant pause as the thoughts you began to think crept deeper into the depths of the latent mind. “You had to go and transfigure him into a lamppost?” You are completely and utterly pathetic “No you are not” the voice grew louder; yes you are the lamppost screams into the depths of your mind. “I can’t take this!” You shout louder than that lamppost will ever be able to shout, “You are Ginerva Weasley, strong, beautiful, and brilliant Ginny Weasley and you can do anything.”

Ancient Runes/April Fools Mini Challnge

“Today we will be going over the unknown runes.” Professor spoke his face stoic.

“If it’s unknown we can’t go over it.” Ginny spoke up bravely.

“Correct.” Professor smiled, walking around the room, “Why is it she is correct.”

“Because its April fools day and you were making fun of us.” A slytherin boy spoke snidely.

“No, even though it is April first, its because we don’t know the power of seven yet, and why?”

“Because it’s shrouded in mystery.” Ginny answered glaring at the boy who spoke she felt like punching him. But she wouldn’t even on April first.

13. Qudditch/Breaking the Fourth Wall
Sitting perched on her broom her thighs hugging the thin wood pole below her. Arching to one side then the over the broom began to move swish-swish, slowly curving along with her body.

Then she saw it, the fluttering of wings. The glint of gold, the intelligent little creature she loved so much – the snitch. It sat right above your head, almost nestled in your hair. She dove, faster, faster trying to reach you in time.

Reaching out her hand her fingers clasped around it, grabbing some of your hair at the same time. Elated, breathless the match was won.

She glared at her sister-in-law. Why had he fallen for a Veela? She thought the answer in the word Veela. Phlegm, as she still referred to her by, was one of those beautiful majestic creatures that caused men to fall for them. Well she was half.

Instantly, that fact alone made Ginny dislike her – what if Harry fell for Fleur and not her? What if he changed his mind she would be devastated she would devastate you with her sadness.

It wasn’t the perfect silver hair, the beautiful skin – it was what she was deep down in her gut.

Veela.

Before Harry, she always felt Allergic to sweethearts, and heart-shaped boxes. Allergic to anything that dealt with romance and valentines, and love in all shapes and forms.

In reality, she had felt alone, depressed even at the standings of being a single witch on the most romantic day of the year. Before Harry she’d gone on a date with Dean Thomas and in it heart shaped confetti fell from the ceiling and into her cup of tea. Pathetic.

She wasn’t allergic anymore, but she wasn’t not allergic at the same time. The utter happiness made her want to vomit.

Running up those traitorous stairs her chest heaving in out in out with every second it grew more dire. Finally she reached it, reached the place where George had died. Turning the time turner in her hand three times and stepping to the side she waited, hiding behind a stationary suite of armor.

Tears falling brimming out through clenched eyes she watched horrendously sad as she saw him fall to the ground, stiff, rigid, and dead. Her beloved brother gone no more games of exploding snap, no more Quidditch matches only right here right now and time turning hell.

"Yodel - Ay - EEE - Oooo" The voice called to her.

Sitting up in bed Ginny walked to the window of the burrow and looked out. Sure enough Harry stood wearing German folk clothes, holding a carved walking stick in one hand.

“Come here Ginny, or I’ll Yodel to you some more” he crooned; she rolled her eyes they were on the outs because of a bad row. Yodeling to her would not change that.

"Yodel - Ay - EEE - Oooo" She met him, he knelt down on one knee. “Marry me Ginny?”

She blushed, “Y-yes” she stammered.

“Your palm so dire” Trelawney spoke her voice small and quaking.

Ginny rolled her eyes, why had she taken Divinations in the first place? She thought and scoffed at the prediction of death and living without love. Ginny had love; she’s never been without love.

“I hate divinations,” she said out loud.

“You-you really?” Sybil began to cry tears welling up behind her thick glasses her eyes looking more bug like than usual.

95. SNOWBALL/Snowman

Ginny’s hands were cold.

It was freezing on the grounds that day, snow everywhere – and packing snow at that.

“Get HER” Dean Thomas yelled lobbing a snowball at her head. It missed. She ducked.

The six-foot snowman was a wonderful hiding place – or it would have been if someone hadn’t done a heating charm on it causing it to melt all over her not only getting her wet but making it possible to pelt her with snowballs. She hated Dean Thomas and his flash snowball fights.

The game was over, Slytherin rapturous in their win. Dismayed, Ginny sat down in the locker room where she looked down at the elbow pads, her boots, and everything she had spent time to lace-up earlier and now she had to untie them all. And with frozen, frost bitten fingers, it wouldn’t be easy at all.

Her fingers trembled as she pulled the lace of her boot, slipping every few minutes, as she had no visible control of her shaking hands. “Bloody Slytherin” she swore kicking the ground with her heel. Sighing she continued her task of untying everything.

67. QUELL
Ginny threw her hands over ears. The words were too much to hear, tears rolling down her eyes.

She was attempting to quell the voices of sadness around her.

Harry dead? She thought, tears rolling down her cheeks.

The scream that erupted from her throat startled her and woke her from her nightmare; looking to her right there he was, sleeping sound. His arm around her engorged belly.

Three more months, then she would have her first child; a child with her first love, her only love Harry James Potter.

5. Astronomy

The tower shone in a bright moonlit glow. Everything below her glittered from majestically covered in freshly fallen snow.

She looked up at the moon, watching sky intently. Tonight her assignment was to watch the sky for shooting stars. She wished she would see one – wished she could have him love her back.

Eleven years old, and being talked to by a demanding diary wasn’t enough – she wanted Harry Potter the boy who loved to love her as she loved him.

And this night, as she did her Astronomy homework, she wished for that upon every twinkling star she saw.

Her dreams were bliss absolute bliss.

His hands pulled through her hair, knotting it as they went. His lips just soft enough to not hurt – his stubble what stubble? she felt her lips part as his tongue skittered across the surface of them.

Then she frowned as she woke up the midnight kiss was a dream – a far away dream of love, lust, and her long-lost boyfriend Harry Potter. The dream of the last kiss she got, before he left to find the Horcrux’s. Oh how she wanted to kiss him like that again.

54.D-A-R-E

”Dare” She decided. She would do a dare. She was too shy to tell someone her deepest secret in a truth – and with a dare at least she could be brave.

”Go kiss that Potter Poster.” Her young friend told her. This made her giggle ferociously. He was Ron’s friend after all, she knew him in a real way.

She laughed, “will he know?” She asked squirming.”

“How would he. It’s a poster. And a dare, so do it.”

“Fine.” Ginny succumbed, walking over to the poster and kissing it – the poster spoke. “Ginny,” she screamed a high-pitched girly giggle.

19.W-A-N-D

Ginny held the wand in her hand, Ollivander had told her he’d find her the one. Was he going to find her the one, or the one? She thought with a laugh.

He handed her an 8.5 inch Holly wand with a unicorn tail core. With a swish a light gold wind blew around her – it felt like the sky had opened and heaven had opened above her head. Gold light was all she saw it was magic it was the one wand – well her first wand.

She smiled. “Thank you, its beautiful,” it was she loved her Holly wand.

7. Care of Magical Creatures

Care of Magical Creatures, Ginny sighed she didn’t want to got class right now. Especially not a potentially perilous one. She sighed as she walked to the room.

Then as she walked into the classroom she couldn’t help from laughing – they had a substitute teacher. And that meant no peril today. Still, she looked at the box in front of her and saw it full of Pygmy puffs.

“Today we are learning about Pygmy Puff births,” the teacher spoke, “everyone take a partner, and a Puff” she smiled.

This should be interesting. Care of Magical Creatures indeed would fun today.

Chop-Chop-Chop. She was in the midst of chopping asphodel leaves when she sighed, looking down at the chopped leaves in front of her she felt alone. Not only was she making a potion for a loved one – it was a healing one. Which meant they were hurt. Mixing two tablespoons of dragon’s marrow in she continued making the bone-regenerating potion.

She looked down at her potions notebook and smiled she loved the doodle she’d written on the side of the papers. Mrs. Ginny Potter only back then, she didn’t know it would come true.

She gave Harry the potion.

9.DaDa...Ginny rolled her eyes. She had to be a joke.

She learned more Defense Against the Dark Arts in one week at Dumbledore’s Army than ever in her class. Umbridge would never equate to Harry Potter – or Remus Lupin or even the complete ham-bone Gildroy Lockheart.

How could reading pamphlets make her learn how to send off a full patronus? Right, it didn’t.

Umbridge probably wanted them to die. She was probably a supporter of He who shall not be named.Voldemort.

Still, she read every lie of a piece of safety technique. It said to reason with it. Stupid Pamphlet.

Her dad bugged her.

Constant yammering about muggle things – and now he wasted money on this heap of junk? a muggle deathtrap that BANGED into life? And rumbled worse than the summer storm clouds booming thunder?

On thing was true.

Ford Anglia’s are worthless heaps of dung. Even Scabbers hated it.

Ginny was mad. Thats all she could think. Waste of Gas. Waste of time. Waste of thought Car.

Ginny sat there watching him walk to the fireplace.

Damn, she needed to control her urge to kiss him. He wasn’t her boyfriend, Dean was.

She watched as his loping gate slowed, his eyes darkened and he turned and went the other direction. Why couldn’t he be in the same room as her?

Why couldn’t he lope from place to place anymore? God. Was he done being her friend? Had Ron gotten to him? What was with Harry Potter acting cold and distant to her? Did he hate Dean? Why? Weren’t they friends? Why should he care who she snogged?

22!Telescope

“Don’t you point that telescope at me!” She yelled. Her hands on her hips; mad. Oh she as so very mad.

She glared at her Astronomy partner. It always seemed that Luna Lovegood was up to something off and odd.

“But your eyes are like stars.”

“No. They are not.”

“Yes they sparkle, maybe the gnargles made your eyes sparkle.”

“Ugh for the last time no I don’t think they exist.”

“Oh they exist.” That was the last thing she heard her say, before Luna disappeared.

Ginny was still mad, and stormed off leaving the astronomy tower unguarded.

11. History of Magic

Ginny walked into class – setting her bag beneath the table in front of her she sighed.

On the board she read the topic they were learning about today – one they had learned about all week with no avail. That being the History of Merlin, every witch and wizard knew the story of Merlin the monarch of most popular wizardry.

Professor Binns was getting boring then again, when wasn’t he? When wasn’t History of Magic boring?

Sighing, she realized it had to be the worst class at Hogwarts – and worse than that. It was mandatory until OWLs.
