Raven was very nervous because today is her first day of OWL and it was DADA. She had worked very hard for this lesson because it’s her favorite and she really wanted to be an Auror.
“The exam starts.. Now!” said the Professor. Raven quickly opened the sheet, but..
MERLIN’S BEARD!
She was shocked. She didn’t find anything that she had learned. Suddenly she got a headache and.. fainted.
“Raven, wake up!” suddenly she heard someone woke her up.
“Eh? What’s wrong?” she asked.
“I think you must take a rest now. You were asleep while you studied DADA.”

Raven was on Zhenya’s wedding party. She was not a fan of a feast but.. This is her best friend party. So she must attend it.
“Congratulations Zhenya and Gordy. I hope both of you will be happy together.” She said to the couple.
“Thanks Raven! I’m soo happy to see you here!” Zhenya hugged her very tight. After she met the bride, Raven decided to take a drink and tried to enjoy the feast. Well... She noticed that she was the only one who came alone. That’s sucks.
“Hey.” Suddenly a man greeted her. Raven just smiled to him.

“Best friends, we were in same school.” Raven tried not to mention Hogwarts because some the guest might be a muggle because Gordy was a muggle.
“Finally I found a witch! Nice too meet you. I’m Zack Highmoore. Zhenya’s friend in St.Mungos.” said the man.
“Raven Charlotte. Nice to meet you too.” She smiled.
“Wanna dance?” asked him.
WHAT?
“Eh... Sorry I must go to.. toilet.” Then quickly she went to toilet but suddenly she fell because of her wedges.
She blamed on herself when she acted very foolish in front of that man.

65. Ooze
third year
Summer was Raven’s favorite season! Not only because of the summer break, but also she could eat ice cream happily and Florean Fortescue was the best ice cream parlor at Diagon Alley.
Raven sat on the outdoor seating together with Zhenya and Desiree, enjoyed their own ice cream in this hot weather. Maybe because it was very hot, her mint-chocolate chip ice cream started to melt.
“Your ice cream is melting. It looks like disgusting ooze.” Said Zhenya. Raven didn’t do anything but laughed to hear that.
“Come on, Zhen! That’s disgusting!” Then she didn’t want to eat that anymore.

17. Cauldron
fourth year
“Be careful, Raven! The cauldron might be very hot!” Said Zhenya while Raven helped her to brew a potion. She helped her best friend to brew a sleeping draught.
“Hey, what’s next?” She asked to Zhenya while she was busy crushed some ingredients.
“Wait. I crush some of the ingredients then I’ll add it to the cauldron!” Then she put them to the hot cauldron.
“Stir it seven times, clockwise. Then take it from the fire.” Then Raven followed the instruction. She took the cauldron but suddenly, she hit Zhenya and their cauldron broke.
“Ouch! I’m sorry.” Said Raven apologize

“Raven!! Headmaster and groundskeeper decided to cut down the Whomping Willow!” Shouted Zhenya suddenly while she just relaxed at dormitory.
“Are you sure?” asked her wondered. “But... Why?”
“I don’t know.” Zhenya shrugged.
“From whom did you hear that?” asked her doubt.
“People.” Answered Zhenya very short. Raven raised her eyebrow. The whomping willow had a historical story in Hogwarts. How could they easily cut down the tree? She stared at her watch. Today was...
“That’s not funny, Zhen.” She said.
“Eh?”
“Well, today is April 1st. It’s not a funny April Fools joke.” She threw a pillow toward Zhenya.

Raven found her owl was fainted with a letter was attached on his feet. Raven was surprised. She took the letter and her owl, then brought it to Williamson. Hope he knew much about her owl.
“Professor Williamson.” Said Raven “My Owl fainted.” She said.
“Oh.. Don’t worry.” He said. “He was very exhausted. I’ll give him a tonic.” Then he took care of Bubo until he was healthy and hooted cheerfully.
“By the way, from where he did he fly?” asked him. Then Raven took a letter and read it.
“Russia.” She said.
“Oh, I knew why he fainted.”

Raven never tried to use portkey to travel. She preferred to use floo network or using muggle transportation. But one day, she tried to use portkey to go to Diagon Alley.
“Are you sure you want to try portkey?” Asked Zhenya.
“Yes.” Raven just smiled. She took an ugly boot from the garbage which had been charmed into a portkey.
“Are you ready?” She asked Zhenya who only gave her a little nod. She looked scared.
“Don’t worry, It doesn’t hurt.” Then she counted until three..
“Ready? One... Two... and...”
BLAM!
The boot was vanished.
“Argh.. We are too late.”

Raven was in the library with Zhenya, they planned to study because OWL examination would be coming soon! Zhenya was very busy with her herbology book while Raven was reading Care of Magical Creatures book.
“Hey.” Suddenly she asked Zhenya. “Have you seen Thestrals?”
“Eh, What is Thestral?” She asked Raven back.
“Here it is.” Raven showed her a page about thestrals. Then she let Zhenya read that page.
“Ah.. I remembered! Dima had told me about this. He could see that, But I can’t” she said.

Raven was in hurry now. She ran quickly as she can to the classroom because today she would face Astronomy final test which would be started five minutes later. But.. running from the dungeon to the astronomy tower where was in seventh floor was not a good idea. She was very exhausted and fell to the ground because her shoes was untied.
Then she started to run again. Finally she had arrived at the classroom, but people were in class now.
“You are late, Raven.” Said Professor Roslund. “10 points from Slytherin.”
“Gah, Wish I had a timeturner.” She murmured.

Raven walked to the Gringotts quickly because she need to take money from her vault. She met the goblin at the front desk and asked him.
“I need to do a withdrawal. My vault is 603 and here it is the key.” She said.

“Sorry miss but... You can’t access that” Said the goblin.

Raven joined a carnaval at her primary school. Her classmate decided to take Western Cowboy and Cowgirl as their class theme. They dressed like cowboys, cowgirls and a few of them dressed like Indians too. Raven had dressed up as a cowgirl; ponytails, jeans, cowboy hat, and shirt.
“Wew.. You look great, Raven!” said her friends.
“Thanks..” she smiled.
“But well... I think you miss something.” Suddenly one of her friend said.

“Yodelling.” She answered.

Raven and Zhenya spent their time at the lake, their favorite spot at the ground. The weather was very cold but they enjoyed their time together while they sipped hot chocolate and had a small chatting.
“Did you get many christmas present, Zhenya?” asked Raven.
“Hmm.. Not really. But I loved them! How about you?”
“I haven’t got it.” Said her flat. Tried to hide her unhappy face.
“Aww.. Don’t be sad.” Then Zhenya took a small box from her pocket. “Merry christmas, Raven.” She gave her a best-friend charmed necklace.

Since she was in fifth year, Raven worked hard to get a good score in OWL. She dilligently attended class, did the homework, took some notes, studied almost five hours at her dormitory and brought the books everywhere! Sometimes she also studied at the lake, the library, even at the house table too!
“You became weird when you bring the books everywhere!” said Desiree while they had breakfast together.
“You know, I don’t want to fail.” Said Raven.
“But not like this.” Said Zhenya. “You need take a rest too.”
“You’re right. The stress from it all nearly zapped me.”

66. Pace
post-Hogwarts
Hospital.. Raven was not a fan of hospital. Maybe she thought hospital was the scariest place on earth. She didn’t like the smell, the color, and it’s sooo creepy!
But now, she paced to the hospital corridor, brought a basket of yummy fruits. She need to see someone here. Someone who became her best friend since they were in school. She looked for her room, but repeatly she got lost. Then she paced the another corridor and finally she could find that room. Smiling, she entered the room and greeted the woman.
“Congratulations, Zhenya! You’re a mother now!” she said.

64. Nap
third year
Today was very exhausting day ever! Raven must attend sooo many class today: Potions, History of Magic, Charms.. She was very tired when she had arrived at the common room. Bringing a backpack which were full of super heavy and thick books was not good for her back. She looked at her watch and decided to take a nap for a while at her comfy bed.
After took a nap, she woke up and she felt better. Taking a nap was a good idea if we were very tired. She noticed at her watch and surprised.
“It’s already 10 p.m?”

60. Joke
pre-Hogwarts
“Hey, do you want to hear my joke?” suddenly one of her friend came while Raven just sat under the tree.
“Is that funny?” Her other friend asked.
“Of course!” she answered.
“Well, tell us!” said Raven.
“Okay.” Then she started her joke. “What did the homeless man get for Christmas?” she asked.
“Err... a sock?”
“No!”
“A home?”
“Absolutely no!”
“Okay.. We’re give up. So what is the answer?” Raven was tired to guess that.
“You wanna know that?”
“Yeah!” She shouted.
“Nothing.”
“What?” Raven wondered.
“Yeah, nothing! Since they didn’t have home so Santa couldn’t give him anything.”

26. Quill
post-Hogwarts
Raven just back from her work. Working in Magical law Enforcement department was very terrific and tired too sometimes. But she really loves her job. When she unlocked her door, suddenly she found an invitation. Quickly she took it and read it at her room.
“Oh.. Zhenya will get married to Gordy? Congratulations!” she murmured. Smiling, she took her quill and parchment, wrote a letter for her best friend
Dear Zhenya
I've accepted your wedding invitation and congratulations! I'm soo happy to hear that. I'll make sure that I will come to your special day ever!

While she listened to this song. suddenly her memory flashed-back at the first time she met Zhenya at the common room, then they became closer and they mostly spent their time together. She still remember her 12th birthday party at Zhenya’s house and she also got a best-friend necklace from her. She is her best friend ever who always beside her.
Friend is Everything.
