A mysterious door appears at the right password where no door was before. Deep in the heart of the dungeons, the door is thick and heavily locked, with no window and bars crossing it. The door gives off an aura of darkness and of copious amounts of spells, letting you know immediately the sheer number of charms and wards on it. | |

Leiden murmured a word and the door appeared as she and McAiken approached it. She continued waving her wand, tracing a series of complicated runes, until finally the lock released and the door swung open a crack. "You are under strictest orders to speak to no one of this occurence. Don't even speak to yourself about it if you can help it." She checked the hallway was clear and opened the door. |

Leiden fixed him with an angry stare. "I can't do it myself. If I could, I certainly wouldn't be asking you for help. You're my transfiguration expert, and I need something transfigured. If the students saw... that in the hallways, they'd be even more out of control than they were before. Do it. Disobeying a Ministry official with a rank such as mine is grounds for imprisonment in Azkaban, remember?" | |

"Azkaban isn't for the innocent, I won't be going to Azkaban, looks like you have your foot in the door. How are you going to explain this to Minister of Magic?" McAiken stated bluntly. Threats would not work on him. He too worked for the ministry.

Leiden smiled sharply and started to push the door closed. "Fine. YOu've made your choice and I've obviously misjudged you. Apparently you have no desire to continue your career here and you'd like to spend the rest of your days far away from Hogwarts and the children. I'll write to the Minister directly about your refusal to cooperate with me. I have his approval to do whatever I need to run this school, so this task I've set you is not illegal." | |

McAiken stared at her with anger, and as he did so he heard the voices of the students on the floor above him. Who would protect them. Who would.... It didn't matter Leiden had him and she knew it.
"Fine, I'll do your dirty work but the consequences are on your hands not mine," McAiken turned and entered the room. With much conflict within himself, he performed the transfiguration. He took an old box set nearby and put the transfigured item inside. He stepped back outside the room and gave the box to Leiden.
"Is that all, Leiden?" he asked. He want to run and be as far away from her as his feet could carry him.

Leiden accepted the box from McAiken and tucked it under her arm. "Thank you, professor. You've been so accomadating. I"ll be sure to add it to your employment final, both here and at the Ministry." Her voice was cold and clearly sarcastic. "You're welcome to go back to your office."
She turned on her heels back to the open door. "I'll expect you to keep a better eye on things. Don't disappoint me again." She addressed someone inside the room before shutting the door and resealing it tightly. | |

McAiken turned as fact as he could and began to briskly walk away. He climbed the stair to the main flloor of the castle. He did not return to his office, instead he went out the huge oak doors of the Entrance Hall, he need to clear his mind, ......he needed a drink.
