Marybeth got the note from Annie. She checked to see if the Professor was looking, then scribbled back: How about outside by the lake?

She handed the note to Annie and turned back to her goblet, trying to make it prettier.

OOC: Actually, I'm not sure if I can meet you right at the moment, I might have to log off soon. If I do, I'll talk to you tommorrow or later tonight, just post in the grounds forum if you want to talk whenever...or what not.

Annie gets Marybeths note and nnods her head.

Kelly attempted the spell once more, doing this, and got really excited. "thanks" she tlod Ivy

Since Annie has alread mastered the spell she decides to leave the class hoping to check assingments later

"No problem Kelly, us first years have to stick together." Ivy said and once more attempted to turn her gecko into something resembling a goblet.

Tirsah walks in quietly, sits down takes out her quill and parchemant.

"Hi I'm Ivy you'll need a gecko. I need a rest at the moment so you can share mine if you want to." Said Ivy to Tirsah

Xavier, determined to get it right, tries the charm again. "Transmorgify!" he says hoping beyond hope. In front of him his gecko disapears and suddenly a goblet appears. The goblet had the same colors the gecko had been also, Brown with red stripes. He smiles to himself. What a perfect goblet.

"Er... hello?!.. AAAHH!" Becca screamed as her gecko/metal thing kind of .. well, wriggled across the desk towards her. " I don't know what I've done but will someone please tell me how to stop it!"

Llewellyn raised his wand and brought it down in a slash like the Professor's. The gecko in front of Llew gave out a sharp, throaty cry then disappeared in a puff of smoke. When the smoke subsided, there was a green goblet of which the stem formed into a pair of legs and a long green and red tail near the bottom.
The gecko/goblet tried dragging itself backwards on the table with its two legs, its tail swishing about in the air wildly. Having no head to see with, the goblet fell off the desk and landed on the floor, then began running around in circles.
Llewellyn groanded and went after his goblet.

"Transmorgify!" Jenna said again. The scales had dissappeared, and it even managed to have some gold stripes along the bottom. "Yay!" She smiled, proud of her great improvement.

Becca looked at Llew with interest "hehe.. thats bad luck, but at least you did better than me! look at this!" Becca points at strange metal item on her desk now emmitting a strangely high piched croaking noise. " You want some help catching it?"

"Transmorgify" Trevor says but still not acomplishing what he wants in the goblet but it still is a goblet.

Jen looked around at the other students. There were a few that had been successful with the spell. She placed her gecko on the desk in front of her. "Transmorgify!" she said and imitated the motion the Professor had shown them earlier. Her gecko was transformed into a vaguely cup-like shape and began squirming around on the table trying to escape. "Eeek!" she exclaimed grabbing it. She tried the spell 7 more times, and was only slightly more successful. "Umm...could someone help me please?" she asked hesitantly.

"Sure, try placing the emphasis on the final syllable, 'Transmorgify'. It really helped me, I hope it works for you too," said Ivy to Jen.

"Ok I'll try that." Jen said picking up her gecko/cup-like object. "Here goes," she said taking a deep breath, "Transmorgify!" As she said this there was a small puff of smoke and her gecko became a goblet. Although it still had a tail she was rather pleased with her small success. "Thanks for the help." she said to Ivy. She continued to practice until the tail was gone and she had a goblet similar to what the professor had shown them.

Roma took the notes she had to take and grabbed the gecko from its cage. Setting it out in front of her on the desk, she whipped out her wand. She focused on it turning to a perfect goblet and said "Transmorgify!" with the same wand movement the proffessor had done. She looked at her goblet and beamed. It had turned into the exact same thing she had imagined it to be. 'I guess I still remember transfiguration from last year' she thought and then turned it back into a gecko. She changed them back and forth for a while for some practice.

Aight lil guy I gotta turn you into a goblet now, but I promise there won't be any names of champions spitting outta you. And with that Selena pointed her wand at the Gecko "Transmorgify." Poof there was smoke...and a nice goblet, but hang on...the goblet had a tail. Selena laughed "I'm sorry lil guy...I guess you should forget the whole car insurance thing and switch to Afflack cuz by the time I'm done you're gonna need that insurance." Selena said laughin

Lorelei has been silently watching all the other students, afraid to even try. She finally takes out her wand, clears her throat, points it at the gecko, and says "Transmorgify!" With a puff of smoke, she sees a perfect looking goblet in front of her! She could hardly believe it, thinking it was too good to be true, when suddenly the goblet opens its "eyes", blinking at her. And somehow, it stuck out its tongue. She gave a little scream, and prepares to do it again.

"Transmorgify!" she says, and sees that only the bottom half of the gecko turned into a goblet. "Come on, I can do this...." She concentrates, and tries again, "Transmorgify!" and she sees a slimy looking goblet in front of her, with no eyes, or tongue, or any legs. "Eh, good enough..." she says. "I'll just try again tomorrow."

"Transmorgify" Trevor said again finally the goblet looks exactly like he wants it to.

Lee looked over at Terry who was looking at his goblet "yes, but i am pleased with it, i dont think i could do any better. Transfiguration just tends to be my worst subject, but i showed some improvments since i got this on my second shot" Lee smiled nodding to her goblet "yours looks gorgeous"

Astoria smiled as she attempted to transfigure the gecko. She cleared her throat and said "Transmorgify!" She grinned as a goblet was now in front of her. She then started to examine it to see how good it really was.

Lee left his goblet neatly on his table. He walked over to the professor and whispers so only the professor could hear "thank you for back in Hogsmeade, but i need your help. I need your permission tog o back. I promised Rae and Bree i would help them out you know, just until they get back on their feet a little more with their new routine" Lee pleaded "i promise i will stay int the back so no ministry need ever know!" Lee promised, but he didn't think that Professor McAiken would give in, but Lee sincerely hoped he would

"Okay if everyone could try one more time then put your gecko back in the cage. Would Ivy, Lee, Alex and Terry collect them and return the cages to counter." McAiken call over the voices of the students practicing the spell.
